Happy Friday everyone! Hope everyone is doing well!
I had my weighing today after skipping last week due to holiday. 4 lbs off in 2 weeks, I am so happy. It is altogether 12.5 lbs in 6 weeks which is the end of my 6-week course that I paid in for (course leader is refusing to acknowledge that I had booked the holiday in advance, even though I put it down on my initial booking form and also texted her a week in advance). Not sure what happens now? Am I on a rolling membership and will be paying £5 each week? Or do I commit again to another 6-week period?
The other day I was planning to make a courgette and asparagus tart that we love, but looked up the syns in the shortcrust pastry and had a heart attack! 72 syns in the one sheet!!! So instead made my own base form half white half wholemeal flour, quark and yeast. It was more like a pizza base but was super nice, my other half commented that she preferred it to shortcrust pastry so win-win!

1lb on this week, not sure why! Ah well back to it this week. Having chips with my lunch today because its been a crap week and i want some comfort and stodge.
Anyone planning any delicious meals this weekend? Might go get all the makings for a Sunday dinner this weekend

Welcome @BeigeFoodLover, love your name! :) I am sure you can do 1 stone by Christmas, good luck with the weighing on Saturday! I am 1.5 lbs away from losing my first stone, actually quite nervous of this week's weighing for that reason. A bit silly really to fixate on that, but would feel good to hit that mark.
I have just discovered that Vanilla Extract is free, so have just had a nice zero fat vanilla yoghurt as an after lunch treat.

Only -0.5lbs for me this week, I am very disappointed. Still 1 lbs away from a full stone. :(
Will try to do better next week, but this has knocked my confidence somewhat, I thought I had done better. Oh well...
This was the end of my 6-week period, I think will book another 6 weeks or even 12 weeks just to keep my mind to a date target.

Hello! Anybody still here? Hope everyone is doing well.
@WhoUsedMyName Are you in third trimester now?
I weighed myself this morning on the home scale, it showed 2lb loss since 2 weeks ago. I am happy with that, aiming for 1lb/week in the long run but I think had I been weighed at group fully clothed it would not have shown a loss. Have had a few indulgent days, so need to get back on plan. How is everyone getting on?

Wow, only 8 weeks left! So exciting! No wonder you can't stop eating, there is a proper baby in there! Hope you are doing okay with the last trimester and can sleep and rest okay. And fingers crossed hospitals won't introduce mroe restrictions for maternity wards.

Hi! I've been dipping in and out of S/W for a couple of months. I've managed to lose half a stone, but really need to pull my finger out now and take it seriously. I've got two little ones, aged 2 and a half and a 1y/o. Find I struggle sometimes to cook quick and easy meals that the whole family can eat. I also work 12 hour shifts. Any tips would be greatly welcomed!

Morning ladies, mind if I join? 😊
Joined SW last October and had lost 2.6st by the start of lockdown... too much cake and prosecco saw me gain nearly a stone...
Back on it though and determined to be good 🥴 currently awaiting an operation so housebound and unable to exercise but I’ll do it...
