Hello fellow fat fighters, I bit the bullet and went back to SW last night I have about 5 stone to lose and would like at least one off before Christmas. Would anyone care to join me?

@MissRabbitIsExhausted it would be a great feeling!
And imagine how you will feel on your big day in your beautiful dress!

Tree falling down - the Hex fibre you need to stick to the list as it is on fibre content not all breads are equal. The idea of speed foods is to try to fill your plate with a third where you can ie add a salad to to pasta dish, mushrooms and tomatoes to your cooked breakfast, veggies with your shepherd's pie etc

Thanks - really helpful.

I don't eat a lot of bread but when I do, I despise wholemeal....which seems to be the only option!

Amaryllis69 · 01/10/2020 22:00

Tree falling down there are other fibre options eg oats, hifi bars, nuts, bran flakes loads of choice. So you could syn your nice bread although that is most dieters downfall as it leads to butter and another least it is mine!!

DAC21 · 02/10/2020 12:24

Half lb for me too, I am a bit disappointed with that but have my period at the moment plus was in jeans instead of summer trousers. Have a synful weekend ahead, next weighing will be in 2 weeks' time due to holiday, so maybe in 2 weeks I can get back to some more weight loss.

Regarding the 'wrong bread', I tend to syn those, but on days when I have them I try not to have a HexB.

MissRabbitIsExhausted · 02/10/2020 12:36

Well done to you both for your half pound losses, it's still a loss and that's the most important thing!

With hex b I usually have porridge or weetabix for mines, hifi bars are good too, I've been eating a lot of the Ryvita Rye breads too you can have 6 of those for b. There's a few different options Smile

Amaryllis69 · 02/10/2020 13:00

Thanks MissRabbitisExhausted. Onwards and downwards! At group they mentioned using a WW wrap (1 only = hex b) as a pizza base! I quite fancy this idea. Using cheese from hex a x 2 and lots of speed!

WhoUsedMyName · 02/10/2020 16:02

Well done on your loses!

Please can I join you all? Well done to you all for your weight loss.
I've got my SW weigh this morning and I'm really hoping for another lb off as then I'll have my half stone certificate. I've been doing it for 6 weeks so it's been slow and steady. I'm aiming for 2 stone in total.
I'm so hungry this morning though but will have to wait until 11 for breakfast 🍳

Amaryllis69 · 03/10/2020 08:18

Fivemoreminutesplease Hello! Good luck at weigh in. I go to an evening group and mostly we are starving and dehydrated when we step on the scales in our efforts to make weigh in a positive experience. I tell myself it is madness but on weigh day you panic and wonder if you should take off your tiny earrings in case they affect the scales!🤣

FiveMoreMinutesPlease · 03/10/2020 11:31

Well it was 0.5 lb off but at least it's going in the right direction and I got my 1/2 stone certificate. I'm feeling motivated after group and going for 2 lbs this week. Fingers crossed 🤞

Amaryllis69 · 03/10/2020 12:11

Well done Fivemoreminutesplease! They all mount up 🥳🥳

Nodancingshoes · 03/10/2020 15:22

Well done @FiveMoreMinutesPlease and @Amaryllis69 - any loss is great, like you said it's in the right direction.
My youngest got sent home from school yesterday so I was home from work fro. 1030 and ate half a packet of bourbons...ffs Hmm then I went out for tea and had 3 pints and chips. NOT a good day. Back to it today although I am struggling not to dip into the biscuits again. Why cant it be easier????

ListenLinda · 03/10/2020 20:20

I’m proud of myself today. After a horrible night with the kids, i’d be snacking all day on sugary stuff to keep me going. Three on plan meals and no snacks at all! Hasn’t even crossed my mind. Just having a bowl of fruit & yog watching my team in the Challenge Cup Semi Final 😁

WhoUsedMyName · 05/10/2020 17:28

I lost 2.5 today very happy with that 🥳

FiveMoreMinutesPlease · 05/10/2020 18:10

2.5lbs is brilliant - well done 👍

@ListenLinda** keeping on track when the kids throw curve ball is an achievement in itself

Amaryllis69 · 05/10/2020 19:00

Well done everyone on there journey so far I've been abit crap on here but pictures are much appreciated also love meal ideas 💡 I've started swimming couple of times a week can't get my eating right but at least I'm moving my arse abit

OP posts:

ListenLinda · 07/10/2020 12:19

I’ve had to change my weigh day this week due to unforseen circs, just had a big bowl of speedy soup.
Just got my backside up and did a youtube zumba work out too!
Hoping for 2.5lb off this week, will get me to my half stone

DAC21 · 07/10/2020 14:19

@WhoUsedMyName 2.5 is amazing, super well done!

@ListenLinda Fingers crossed you will see that figure too!

I had a very bingy weekend and will skip this week's weighing due to holiday, so not sure what to expect when I am next there at the end of next week. Finding it a bit hard at the moment after the carb-filled weekend. I also feel like I am constantly craving salt, today I was fantasising about putting Marmite into any sort of food! :) Luckily none in the house.

Amaryllis69 · 07/10/2020 14:49

DAC21 everyone was singing Martite's praises at my group last week!! Better a craving for that than biscuits unless you are cutting down for health reasons of course... I know what you mean though - I'm going through a lot of feta cheese for same reason🙄

DAC21 · 07/10/2020 15:25

Haha, Amaryllis, I even thought I had invented a new food with a marmite-quark spread just to find it on a SW blog! :) I wonder if the reason I normally overindulge on cheese is actually because I crave salt? It is just a bit unfortunate because we have a toddler and a pregnant woman in the house, so I try to cook without salt but then put a mountain of it on my plate and try not to let the toddler steal any! :)

ListenLinda · 07/10/2020 15:46

Just got back from the park with my little hooligans... i’m exhausted and hungry and its not even 4pm yet. I just don’t fancy another satsuma 😂

WhoUsedMyName · 07/10/2020 16:06

Well I love hole made chips but I also brought sw chips to chuck in air fryer and they are so good 😍

OP posts:

WhoUsedMyName · 07/10/2020 16:08

I'm hungry all the time even when I eat sooo much food I'm constantly thinking of food just because I know I'm dieting

OP posts:

Nodancingshoes · 08/10/2020 19:44

@WhoUsedMyName me too - food is constantly on my mind...
Well I gained 1.5lbs at weighing yesterday. I was not suprised to be honest. I seem to be taking 2 steps forward and 1 back at the moment. Today has been good tho :
Veg and lentil soup for lunch with a ham wrap and homemade coconut chicken curry and rice for tea (4 syns)
