@Amaryllis69
Thanks - really helpful.
I don't eat a lot of bread but when I do, I despise wholemeal....which seems to be the only option!

Half lb for me too, I am a bit disappointed with that but have my period at the moment plus was in jeans instead of summer trousers. Have a synful weekend ahead, next weighing will be in 2 weeks' time due to holiday, so maybe in 2 weeks I can get back to some more weight loss.
Regarding the 'wrong bread', I tend to syn those, but on days when I have them I try not to have a HexB.
MissRabbitIsExhausted · 02/10/2020 12:36
Well done to you both for your half pound losses, it's still a loss and that's the most important thing!
With hex b I usually have porridge or weetabix for mines, hifi bars are good too, I've been eating a lot of the Ryvita Rye breads too you can have 6 of those for b. There's a few different options
FiveMoreMinutesPlease · 03/10/2020 07:49
Please can I join you all? Well done to you all for your weight loss.
I've got my SW weigh this morning and I'm really hoping for another lb off as then I'll have my half stone certificate. I've been doing it for 6 weeks so it's been slow and steady. I'm aiming for 2 stone in total.
I'm so hungry this morning though but will have to wait until 11 for breakfast 🍳

Fivemoreminutesplease Hello! Good luck at weigh in. I go to an evening group and mostly we are starving and dehydrated when we step on the scales in our efforts to make weigh in a positive experience. I tell myself it is madness but on weigh day you panic and wonder if you should take off your tiny earrings in case they affect the scales!🤣
Nodancingshoes · 03/10/2020 15:22
Well done @FiveMoreMinutesPlease and @Amaryllis69 - any loss is great, like you said it's in the right direction.
My youngest got sent home from school yesterday so I was home from work fro. 1030 and ate half a packet of bourbons...ffs then I went out for tea and had 3 pints and chips. NOT a good day. Back to it today although I am struggling not to dip into the biscuits again. Why cant it be easier????
ListenLinda · 03/10/2020 20:20
I’m proud of myself today. After a horrible night with the kids, i’d be snacking all day on sugary stuff to keep me going. Three on plan meals and no snacks at all! Hasn’t even crossed my mind. Just having a bowl of fruit & yog watching my team in the Challenge Cup Semi Final 😁
WhoUsedMyName · 05/10/2020 19:07
Thank you. How rude am I, just talking about myself hello newbies! Well done everyone on there journey so far I've been abit crap on here but pictures are much appreciated also love meal ideas 💡 I've started swimming couple of times a week can't get my eating right but at least I'm moving my arse abit
DAC21 · 07/10/2020 14:19
@WhoUsedMyName 2.5 is amazing, super well done!
@ListenLinda Fingers crossed you will see that figure too!
I had a very bingy weekend and will skip this week's weighing due to holiday, so not sure what to expect when I am next there at the end of next week. Finding it a bit hard at the moment after the carb-filled weekend. I also feel like I am constantly craving salt, today I was fantasising about putting Marmite into any sort of food! :) Luckily none in the house.
DAC21 · 07/10/2020 15:25
Haha, Amaryllis, I even thought I had invented a new food with a marmite-quark spread just to find it on a SW blog! :) I wonder if the reason I normally overindulge on cheese is actually because I crave salt? It is just a bit unfortunate because we have a toddler and a pregnant woman in the house, so I try to cook without salt but then put a mountain of it on my plate and try not to let the toddler steal any! :)
Nodancingshoes · 08/10/2020 19:44
@WhoUsedMyName me too - food is constantly on my mind...
Well I gained 1.5lbs at weighing yesterday. I was not suprised to be honest. I seem to be taking 2 steps forward and 1 back at the moment. Today has been good tho :
Veg and lentil soup for lunch with a ham wrap and homemade coconut chicken curry and rice for tea (4 syns)
