I want to lose 2 stone by 1st July, anybody want to join me?

I have been on and off SW for a couple of years now. But my weight has creeped up and I'm now 13 stone 10 and officially obese Shock I am so annoyed with myself, and feel so low.

Anyway I have a holiday and a wedding at the start of July so want to get serious this time. Ultimately I want to lose 3.5 stone overall, but feel that 2 stone would be manageable - it would be 2 pounds a week until July.

Anybody fancying joining me? Please!! I need all the help I can get!

Two stone by middle of August would be good - hope it's not too late....

Weighed in at 13st 10lb (!) this morning. Breakfast was a slice of wholemeal toast with 2 fried eggs and tomatoes and lunch was a jacket potato with Dairylea and more tomatoes and dinner is chicken and sweet potatoes with pasta and lots of vegetables from the freezer. Planning to have a cup of tea and a couple of biscuits during Britain's Got Talent! !

I started slimming world on 13th April, my start weight was a shocking 17st 9.5lb! BlushI've literally taken the bull by the horns with this diet, I'm still clinging on.

Week 1 17st 9.5lb
Week 2 -6.5lb
Week 3 -3lb
Week 4 -2lb
Week 5 -1lb
Week 6 -2.5lb
Week 7 -3.5lb (16st 5lb)

I'm feeling so much better in myself, I'm off caffeine and sugar which I was totally dependent on. I can feel a change in my body shape already. I regularly walk 6+ miles a day now which really helps with losing weight and it gets me out in the fresh air instead of brooding at home listening to the food in the fridge calling me! I'm taking it a week at a time Smile

Emma that's amazing, the stuff of dreams, you must have worked so hard to achieve that 6lbs loss. Congrats on your overall loss as well.
AStone welcome, wishing you well with your weight loss journey. Two stones in three months is definitely possible. I hope BGT is better tonight it's been a bit meh for me this year although biscuits always improve things.

36mum I pressed post too soon oops, amazing progress and such consistent losses. It sounds like you are really determined to make a positive change in your life I also started walking a lot, at least 20 miles a week and it really helps ( my weight loss had started to slow down and it gave it a kick start)

I've not been doing my usual amount of walking this week due to other stuff going on and I am actually missing it ( something I never thought I would say) 😄

36 I've had a fitbit flex for almost a year now. I think it has helped me to be a bit more active. My one regret is that I didn't go for one that has a watch too. When I've got some more spare money, I'll probably upgrade to the Alta or the Blaze, although I may find the Blaze too big.

Hi folks, I'm posting early this week cause I am off today for a long weekend retreat then away on holiday for two weeks. I'm going to call a halt to my challenge participation.
I'm hoping to be sensible while I'm away but I think it's inevitable that I'm going to gain some weight so I will continue my weight loss journey on my return and set myself a new challenge

I'm back from holidays, just checking in, the thread has gone a bit quiet?
Maybe everyone is away?
Welcome Angie how is your month going, a stone in a month is a big challenge to set yourself?
As promised posting my progress, don't know how I managed it but I actually lost weight on holiday (mostly self-catering but also ate out even having bread and cheese). It must have been the thought of posting on here.

Thanks momma I'm keeping going til a big work event at the end of August, almost at your challenge deadline. I'm hoping to lose another stone.
Good luck with your 18lb personal challenge in about 8 weeks? You can do it if you plan ahead and stick to it I still like SW even after 6 months as it's so flexible and I hope it works for you.
