I want to lose 2 stone by 1st July, anybody want to join me?

I have been on and off SW for a couple of years now. But my weight has creeped up and I'm now 13 stone 10 and officially obese Shock I am so annoyed with myself, and feel so low.

Anyway I have a holiday and a wedding at the start of July so want to get serious this time. Ultimately I want to lose 3.5 stone overall, but feel that 2 stone would be manageable - it would be 2 pounds a week until July.

Anybody fancying joining me? Please!! I need all the help I can get!

Oh I would love to join you. Your time line matches mine perfectly. I am 12 stone and have 2 to lose before mid July.

Count me in. Would love to loose 2 stone, but usually only loose 1/2 -1 lb a week. One stone would be more realistic for me.

I'll join you too! Need to lose 3-4 stone but a goal of 2 stone by July would work well for me. Ive joined the classes in the past and done really well but always end up finding excuses not to go then lose my motivation. Im just doing myself at home this time so some extra motivation an support from you all would be much appreciated.

Welcome to everyone!! We can all do this together!

There are loads of good recipes on SW page. Are you on Pinterest or Instagram? There are heaps on there too. I keep seeing loads of recipes for cakes but after the horror of SW pancakes I'll give them a miss!!

It's my weigh in tonight, I'm hoping for my 2 pounds but after all the Prosecco on Saturday I'll be happy with anything!!

Hello, I'm a fellow slimming worlder myself and I'm really struggling at the minute also, I have a weekend away in June and I would like to get some weight off myself.

I have recently designed a group on Whatsapp for people who are struggling and need motivation to lose weight.

I lost 1/2 pound! It must have been all the booze on Saturday night SadSad That's me back to plan now, no more nights out for ages!

I weigh in at a group. I was weighing myself everyday too, it makes you feel so bad/guilty so trying to stop it.

I joined SW on Friday, need to shift the baby weight. I made the SW tikka masala today, got the recipe from the app, was delicious. Feeling very strange about eating mostly what I want and not feeling too hungry, I used to equate losing weight with eating little and being hungry so the SW concept is a strange one to me. Good luck everyone with their weight loss.

It's my first weigh-in tomorrow morning and I'm nervous about it. Hoping for 3lbs with it being the first week.

I made the SW quiche at lunch today, which is worth trying. But if you use mushrooms, drain off any liquid before adding them.
I also made the tikka masala from the magazine and that was nice. And last night did sticky chicken, with brown rice and Asian style broccoli.

I've not been hungry, but I do miss bread. Good luck to all those weighing in today!

I made slimming world spag bog which was really nice, disappointing weigh as I stayed the same: too many 'little tastes' of things and booze so trying to not stray this week and no drinking til Saturday, hope everyone has a good week

How did you get on at your weigh in Yellow?

I love the SW spag Bol, and luckily so do the dc! The curries are usually good too.

I've made beef and bean chilli and chicken saag, both delicious. I've lost 4lb so far in the first five days. Am amazed! Must admit that I haven't had the chilli or curry with carbs. Don't see the need - just had an enormous portion of each.
Have been eating 15 syns a day - choc and crisps. Love that I can eat these and diet

I made tomato ( from tinned tomatoes) and red onion soup , reduced fat hoummus and wholewheat pitta. Was so hungry after work I ate two pitta breads followed by a fruit bread thing. But it was nice and fairly healthy.
What do others do re weighing ?
Thought I might try to weigh myself only in four weeks as otherwise I sometimes get disheartened if I haven't lost anything
I weigh thirteen stones and should weigh 9 stone 7 .

That sounds nice Oly, I'll give that a try. I've not had a great day - my meals have been ok but definitely far too many choccy biscuits.

Well I'm in! Been with SW for about 8 months and have lost about 8 lb! This is crap, I have lost weight with SW before and know it works if you stick with it. I am so annoyed with myself, meals are ok but it's the picking and snacking, I have such a sweet tooth. Maternity leave finishes at end of june and there is no way my uniforms will even meet in the middle! Eeek! I just need to toughen up on myself!

Hi all, new on here. I need to lose some serious weight. have needed to do so for years. on and off its been. I'm at heaviest ever and I promised myself it wouldn't happen again. I am on a very tight budget, so will be doing it at home with books I have from the class. would appreciate any cheap and cheerful ideas to to start and stay on track. 2 stone would be an amazing start.xx thanks all.x Cat.☺
