HELP 404 error message when trying to open threads

On Android phone ,not using app ,viewing a thread about help dress teenage daughter for wedding clicked on link provided by OP to White Fox clothing co. When tried to go back to MN nothing but error message .

Also getting 400 or 404 error message on android

I think it’s more widespread than that - I just tried opening chat on my iMac desktop and whatever I try to open comes up as a bad gateway. So it’s way more than a single thread. Weirdly, things are working normally on the iPhone.
OS 26.1 and Firefox.

Just to clarify, its 400 Bad Request and only a problem when Googling Mumsnet - all other sites working fine.

And I‘ve just seen the thread about clearing the cache for the site, will try that.

I don't use the app on my phone so clearing the cache isn't applicable ,is it ?

Did it start after any particular action you took ?

I had this since last night. I cleared data on my browser for the past 24 hours and seems to be working OK now but that could be a conincidence.

I can't get on MN at all on Chrome. Had to switch to 🦆

I was getting this problem a few weeks ago. I followed the MN advice to clear my cache and this worked.
Then yesterday I again couldn't access the MN site at all on Samsung Internet - just getting the 404 error message - but could access it on Chrome . I cleared the cache on Samsung Internet and that worked and everything is ok again, at least for now.

I've cleared cache and images and that seems to have worked.

I can't access mumsnet at all today on my phone because of this message.

So will be using it less I guess!

I've just had a 501 Internal Server Error. Chromebook. Refreshed the screen and it is now ok, but rather slow.

I had the 404 message all morning. Came back this afternoon and all was fine, but now site is loading veeeerrrrry slowly, occasionally refusing to move between pages,and I just got an error 500 message.

I cleared the cache as well on mine but it hasn't made a difference

Same here cleared cache on samsung tablet but no difference but absolutely fine on my samsung phone!

Yes unfortunately despite clearing the cache the problem is still here. It allows a couple of clicks through and then crashes with 400 message

I got error message all morning. Only on MN site though. Managed to clear cache after a few attempts. Seems to be ok now but I can't see how it isn't a fault on the MN end as it only affects this site.

I had this yesterday evening, finally fixed it lunchtime today.. Clearing cache and history didn't work. I did have to install a newer version of my android browser and that seems to have cleared it.

And only MN. No where else.

we're hoping this was a temporary glitch for you as we haven't had any similar reports.
