Rules around banning?

Feeling a little nervous after the recent thread that went 'poof' and reports of people being banned and not knowing why/not having any deleted posts beforehand.

Is there a three strike rule? No strikes?

I guess because it's not yourself you're asking about. I think your friend would need to contact them herself.

I don't think wannabe fits in to any of the categories in the explanation, I have been here a long time and she isn't someone that strikes me as goady, nasty or out to make people's lives a misery. She is one of the few posters that doesnt name change and most of her posts just seem to be common sense.

I actually think that the longer a poster has been around, then yes, the more benefit of the doubt they should be given in general. Someone's posting history should definitely be taken into account when mods consider whether to ban them.
