ColdSancerre · 08/11/2011 22:43

I like the prehistoric looks of tortoises, which is odd as dinosaurs bore me to tears. I feel a bit twitchy about the fact they'll outlive me though. We'll unless types become anorexic like babyheave's.

KatharineClifton · 08/11/2011 22:43

Yes LeBOF, just like a ragu Grin

oldqueenie · 08/11/2011 22:44

well if it's true you've been banned "vaunda" then I take back my comments re double standards etc. perhaps MNHQ sees fit to ban people for provocation... or maybe we'll never know

Vaunda · 08/11/2011 22:45

BTLOA, My threads can be dramatic but I have never trolled thats for sure.

Am still trying to find out about the pram scam I was meant to be part of tbh!

oldqueenie you could try logging in under that name and see for yourself if you doubt me

reelingintheyears · 08/11/2011 22:46

Vaunda...are you TLES?

NoOnesGoingToEatYourEyes · 08/11/2011 22:46

You should have seen me in my mustard-eyeball days then.

Truly a sight to behold, weeping, with a wet flannel clutched to my face, trying to get the mustard out through a closed lid before tacking the washing up after Sunday lunch (the source of the mustard attack).

Unforgettable.

LadyBeagleEyes · 08/11/2011 22:46

Degus are just cute rats really.
My opinion on tortoises has already been said.
Yes, Chickens, that's all tortoises do. Or they die inconveniently when you think they're hibernating.
There's a documentary on BBC1 just started about Simon and Garfunkel BTW.
Does anyone else like them as much as I do?

oldqueenie · 08/11/2011 22:46

logging in under what name? what do you mean?

Vaunda · 08/11/2011 22:47

Justine emailed me last night and said I had a temp susension to stay off for last night yet, still i cnnot log on under my usual name and she has not replied to my emails asking why this is.

Vaunda · 08/11/2011 22:48

Yes I am TLES

Oldqueenie, if you doubt that TLES account has been banned you are welcome to try logging in under it. I am the same person, this was my original name back when DS1 was 4/5yrs old.

NoOnesGoingToEatYourEyes · 08/11/2011 22:48

A degu is one of those paintings of ballerinas isn't it?

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 08/11/2011 22:48

I love Simon and Garfunkel. Bridge Over Troubled Water is a work of genius.

snice · 08/11/2011 22:48

am just watching S & G doc but finding their aged appearance rather unsettling-I have an image of them from old album covers and can't get used to the 'real' look!

oldqueenie · 08/11/2011 22:49
