MNHQ are googling responsible tortoise purchasing and ownership as they've decided to get an HQ tortoise. They will call it Mitmoo.

There's no tortoise topic, not even a reptile section (apart from Media) and no bird section either. If small furry animals have their own topic, then small feathery ones should have one too. Call it Strictly for the Birds.

the other forum is val/dbf and her supporters a sort of hastily erected diy forum bitching about mumsnet I guess. I looked at it for about 30 seconds earlier when soupy linked it but, from what Maryz has said on this thread, mnhq are deleting the posts that have links to it.

One animal section would be a LOT better. I would like to see a 'Stuffed Parrot' section listed though

I have acquired a tortoise on the back of all the pro-tortoise posts.

To be honest i find it a bit irritating.

Unless someone can tell me CONCLUSIVELY that it can be trained to fetch and that tortoise nappies are available then its going down the food waste whizzer.

I have a link to the secret forum. You have to access it via a secret pm on Twitter which leads you to a secret fb group, this then takes you on a trip down memory lane with a secret MySpace page, on this page you get given someones MSN chat addy. Only once that person has added you on MSN can you get the actual link to the temporary forum.
