@ColdSancerre

MNHQ are googling responsible tortoise purchasing and ownership as they've decided to get an HQ tortoise. They will call it Mitmoo.

We are still very much here

ColdSancerre · 08/11/2011 21:42

First everyone bought the same scarf, then everyone decides they all want tortoises because of one post. We're such damn sheep. Baa.

CalatalieSisters · 08/11/2011 21:42

There's no tortoise topic, not even a reptile section (apart from Media) and no bird section either.Angry If small furry animals have their own topic, then small feathery ones should have one too. Call it Strictly for the Birds.

Can we just have pets corner back please? And less militancy?

Trills · 08/11/2011 21:45

Dammit, I am mostly only skimming here but now RebeccaMN has quote Sancerre I really want a glass of wine.

ColdSancerre · 08/11/2011 21:45

God don't start campaigning for more animal related topics, MN will implode.

Actually, Rebecca, can we have a bovine section please? Or a forum for the cloven of hoof, you could call it 'Under the Bridge'.

UrsulaBonfirey · 08/11/2011 21:45

give up the linky or the tortoise gets it

ColdSancerre · 08/11/2011 21:46

Trills I have that effect on everyone. I'm going to be banned by the NHS soon.

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 08/11/2011 21:46

We need a stuffed parrot owners section!

fruitshootsandheaves · 08/11/2011 21:46

The MNHQ tortoise would surely be called Michelle

Ladyitr:
the other forum is val/dbf and her supporters a sort of hastily erected diy forum bitching about mumsnet I guess. I looked at it for about 30 seconds earlier when soupy linked it but, from what Maryz has said on this thread, mnhq are deleting the posts that have links to it.

KatharineClifton · 08/11/2011 21:48

One animal section would be a LOT better. I would like to see a 'Stuffed Parrot' section listed though Grin

JeremyVile · 08/11/2011 21:51

I have acquired a tortoise on the back of all the pro-tortoise posts.

To be honest i find it a bit irritating.

Unless someone can tell me CONCLUSIVELY that it can be trained to fetch and that tortoise nappies are available then its going down the food waste whizzer.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 08/11/2011 21:51

I have a link to the secret forum. You have to access it via a secret pm on Twitter which leads you to a secret fb group, this then takes you on a trip down memory lane with a secret MySpace page, on this page you get given someones MSN chat addy. Only once that person has added you on MSN can you get the actual link to the temporary forum.

Now you just need to ask yourselves... Is it worth the effort?

UrsulaBonfirey · 08/11/2011 21:53

You take the piss but a tortoise would be great, I have some serious allergies

nenevomito · 08/11/2011 21:53

seriously, avoid the tortoises.

bloody expensive money draining monsters
