following on from the bargain thread......

Me but it was only a slide, not one of the big things.

Me - I got the Ben Nevis thingie, and a tyre swing to attach instead of one of the normal ones.

i'm waiting for the thread .... who's managed to build it ....how long it took .... how many people .... how many arguments (or is that just the DIY in my house?!)

I ordered the castle one - got a card today confirming delivery for Tues afternoon - should be built by Xmas then!!!

i am trying to chase up my order and have been getting nowhere

Misdee - I got a phone call couple of days ago to ask if Tues was OK for delivery and then the card today confirming a pm delivery. Hope you manage to sort it out soon.

i had a phone call a couple of days after ordering saying the ben nevis was out of styock but i could have a matterhorn for the same price. i said yes, they said someone would call within a couple of days to sort out delivery. and now they cant even conform if i am getting one!!

it took 3 or 4 attempts to get my bathroom suite about 4 years ago. never again.
in the end i stood in the shop shouting till i got what i wanted...

I got my Ben Nevis delivered on wednesday.

I ordered a shed last Sunday - delivered today

oh Misdee that's bad luck - guess you will just have to keep on at them - although I know you've got plenty of other stuff on your mind at mo.

My order arrived today as promised. Its in the garage to be built... the dt's birthday isn't for a couple of months so not too worried.

Called again. they are going to pass my details on on monday to the team dealign with it (what a surprise, they dont work weekends!!) and i should get a call back monday to sort this out. because i have been upgraded to a matterhorn, then apparently i am definatly getting one, but untill i get total confirmation and they charge my card and it actually turns up then i am going to be calling whenever i can.

Really pants this isnt it?

Got a call on Thursday to say they wanted to deliver on Tuesday but we will be away so it's going to be the week after next. I'm not planning to put it up until next spring, it's going to be the children's present from Father Christmas and we're having building work done. So that will be great Merlin if you could finish getting it up by Xmas, you can tell us how it's done when we try

We've got our one(the Mckinley). DH is going to B&Q in a minute to buy a sledgehammer to get rid of the hard standing at the back of the garden, where its going.
His friends are coming round this afternoon for a BBQ Little do they know what they are letting themselves in for. DH has said could they give him a hand putting up a climbing frame for the DC's.

Had my phonecall to properly place the order for the "out of stock" Ben Nevis a couple oif days ago and got my confirmation through the post today. Awaiting a delivery date now.

i got my fottball table and castle play set on friday. just got to get dh and my dad to put it all together now!

Yep, we got what we ordered, its been assembled and its fab.

It took dh about 4 hours to do it on his own and he is CRAP at diy.

Well done mr and mrs bubs!!

I'm jealous though, I want to have a go, but my bum is far far too big for the slide

I got my junior climbing frame and smoby playgym yesterday afternoon, after a phone call on the thursday telling me they were out of stock. Not sure what happened, but they're built now, so they can't have them back!
