My kids are not the chunkiest, so we will have to see how much the seats annoy their bums!

charliecat · 03/09/2005 09:12

Well they do sling seats that are made of asmooth but stiff plastic for 17 quid at b and q, bashed boxes meant they were 12.00 so they cost 4 quid for 2 with the vouchers.
LOL at your dh

The neighbours with their perfect gardens are still blissfully unaware of what's to come!

charliecat · 03/09/2005 09:21

I ordered a couple of other things that were out of stock, but didnt really care as it was the Ben Nevis i was after. Blueteddy did too, its to silence the folk who are threaning to take them to court.

charliecat · 03/09/2005 09:23

He clearly didn't have a clue what he was talking about!
Sounds like they employ any old down & outs!

charliecat · 03/09/2005 09:27

I think they employ robots but dress them as human

blueteddy · 03/09/2005 09:29

This is a bog standard council house. the arms of ben are about 3 metres when its up. Excuse my garden, where i am standing to take the piccy is when it will eventually go, when dp gets round to it ...ho humm thatll be next year then! here

blueteddy · 03/09/2005 09:38

Ohhhh, my neighbours are going to LOVE us!!!

SoupDragon · 03/09/2005 09:38

What size is the square base and how far out from it does the slide stick out? I need to level part of my gardenand want to do the minimum amount of work possible!!

charliecat · 03/09/2005 09:41

the square base just over a metre square id say..the slide and the ladder sides id say you need more room than the 3 metres because youve got to leave a gap for them to get onto the ladder and a gap for them to fall off the end...so over the 3m meark im afraid AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH
It tucks in neatly beside our shed...by about 3 inches but takes up more than half the grass.

OP posts:
blueteddy · 03/09/2005 09:44

Think it may take up ALL our grass!!!!
We don't have the hugest of gardens!
Still, it will be a very child friendly garden!!!
