too much. £400 is my limit. and the thought of dd2 and monkey bars scares me. i had accepted a matterhornm which had monkey bars as an alturnative but hadnt ordered one initially due to the monkey bars.

katzguk · 02/08/2005 21:20

what about free ads? someone might be getting rid and you could bag a bargain?

misdee · 02/08/2005 21:26

nicmum2boys · 02/08/2005 23:05

Misdee, don't know if this still works, but I got sent a code for 10% off from elc for my son's birthday that I haven't used, didn't get anything from there for him. Was back in May though, but doesn't say it expires. Code is BIG009 if ordering online, or it says call 0870 167 2036 and quote "2036", or you can print the voucher off to take into store. I'm happy to forward the mail onto you if you need to print it off, just CAT me your email.

misdee · 03/08/2005 07:21

thank you, it works!!

£40 off, excellant.

misdee · 03/08/2005 07:58

nicmum2boys · 03/08/2005 13:53

You're welcome. Glad it still worked,it's been hanging around in my inbox "just incase", so really pleased you could put it to good use.

geogteach · 04/08/2005 19:44

Had a phone call this evening offering me full refund or Matterhorn (at Ben Nevis sale price) in September when they have new stock, there is loads about this on the money saving website linked below

charliecat · 04/08/2005 22:42

Ben Nevis is HUGE and imposing about 3 foot over the fence

Wigwambam is yoursup yet? My dds done themselfes some damage on the first day...scraping thier back off the wooden bit after climbing up and my small 7 year old had nearly knocked herself out on the plank above her head on the way down the slide.....

OP posts:
WigWamBam · 07/08/2005 10:59

We've just finished varnishing it and dh will be putting it up tonight ... I dare say we'll have a couple of bumps and scrapes until dd and her friends get used to it too.

charliecat · 07/08/2005 11:01

Yeah, my wood seems to be drier than when it first arrived and definetly needs a coat soon.
Appart from that its good...are you using the sand pit bit? And cementing it in?

OP posts:
WigWamBam · 07/08/2005 11:02

Just mentioned it to dh and he had already decided (apparently - he hadn't told me!) that he's going to put some pipe insulation over the bottom edges as a bit of a bump strip. Sounds like a good idea!

charliecat · 07/08/2005 11:04

Fantastic idea...going to steal it..Thank You!

charliecat · 07/08/2005 11:07
