I don't post much on forums, bit of a lurker. (lurker?? - probably could have found a better word to use on a sex thread!!)

Quite surprised to learn that you are all apparently one-handed typists/teenage boys/sleazy 40+ pervs/men pretending to be women, and now also paedophiles. But in almost all that I've read on here over the past few months, I've found you regulars to be very polite, respectful and decent in the way you post.

Not sure if my opinion means much on MN generally, i'm not the typical poster, what with me being a woman who likes sex, doesn't much like children, doesn't hate men and doesn't blame every man for things that one bad person has done to her in the past. Just wanted to say please don't go, don't abandon ship. (Did Jude really go? She talked a lot of sense. I hope she comes back soon)

Hope MNHQ see sense soon and take it off Active so it can go back to how it was before.

It’s all got a little silly hasn’t it. Let the members who don’t want to read about sex related things stick to what they want to read and those of us who have an interest, despite being one armed pervs. Keep doing what we want in our own little corner of the site.

So people can be dismayed at the horror of HELP WITH ANAL being on display on a Saturday morning. Purely because they post recipes to make it appear in active. It likely wouldn't have otherwise. Childishness of the opposed speaks volumes.

Time for opposing sides to stop squabbling. We all seem to want the same thing for different reasons. If we all bombard MNHQ with complaints maybe they would listen? Or maybe just wishful thinking!

I never got what active is. People still need advice on whatever forum. There will always be trolls on whichever part of Mumsnet you're in.
I think it's best just to carry on as we were/are.

Yup, anyone can post if they wish to do so.

But if you really dislike it that much, why do you feel need to look at and post on the threads?

I don't like gardening, so I don't go onto that board. I don’t require any help from the fitness board, so I don't go there either.

A lot of people have been very annoyed by something that is so very easily remedied.

Indeed they can but they are not allowed to troll it. If they posted within the MNHQ guidelines then their posts would not be removed would they! I don't have the power to remove posts. Just the power of the report button.
Posting irrelevant, immature comments, calling posters perverts, posting vomit emojis is trolling and not ok.
