I don't post much on forums, bit of a lurker. (lurker?? - probably could have found a better word to use on a sex thread!!)

Quite surprised to learn that you are all apparently one-handed typists/teenage boys/sleazy 40+ pervs/men pretending to be women, and now also paedophiles. But in almost all that I've read on here over the past few months, I've found you regulars to be very polite, respectful and decent in the way you post.

Not sure if my opinion means much on MN generally, i'm not the typical poster, what with me being a woman who likes sex, doesn't much like children, doesn't hate men and doesn't blame every man for things that one bad person has done to her in the past. Just wanted to say please don't go, don't abandon ship. (Did Jude really go? She talked a lot of sense. I hope she comes back soon)

Hope MNHQ see sense soon and take it off Active so it can go back to how it was before.

Generally we are just a decent bunch of people who are honestly just trying to do better to ourselves, our spouses and the community.

@justcallmebozo Just to say I'm also still around. It's a great site with some lovely, generous-hearted people. I'm learning a lot - even at the advanced age of 56! - which I think is definitely helping me to be a better hubby to DW.

I hope the hullabaloo begins to settle down and - as do so many others - that the Sex Board is taken off Active for everyone's sake.

I am still around too. Not posting as much, as I have been busy outside of here, and ill. I have a couple of chats on the go which I am currently happy with, so have not been posting looking for anyone else.

I have been reading everything going off on here, and I can see both sides of the arguments in all honesty.

At the very least, the sex board needs to move out of active, I think everyone can agree on that. Sadly, I would not be surprised if this is the beginning of the end of the sex chat thread, as it has become so well publicised with lots of feeling against. It would be a shame if the vocal minority who want to deleted completely win, but I am sure that there must be a compromise to be had.

I know for a fact that there have been a small minority misusing the thread, and becoming pests, but my understanding is that MN have dealt with them properly and robustly where they have been reported (I have reported some myself, as well as being aware of other people reporting people).

Stay safe and alert everyone!

I have to say this is the possibly the tamest sex chat I’ve ever seen so I struggle at how offended some people are by it ( some people just enjoy being offended I guess)

Morning all, I've name changed for this (cowardly 😊)

I just wanted to say that I've been on MN for around 12 years and probably only scrolled through the Sex topic twice since it opened, so I have no 'skin in the game' (childish snort).

But I just wanted to lend some support to you all and say that whilst I can understand why many people don't want to see the topic in active, I can't believe the trolling, nasty and often vile comments aimed at some of you here.

Yet broadly speaking, it seems most of you have taken this on the chin and simply continue to try and be the voice of reason despite the abuse.

Obviously you shouldn't have to do this but it is admirable how you all seem to be coping, so I just wanted to say I hope it all blows over for you all and that you continue to have your own space here, which whether it shows in 'Active' or not, should not be trolled by others and you should not have to put up with such vile comments in other topics either.

Sorry for the long ramble, I kind of lost track half way through 😳 but hopefully this post makes sense.

Oh and one last thing...before I get 'accused' of being male, I'm a 52 year old woman who just takes a dim view of online bullying and nastiness.
