I don't post much on forums, bit of a lurker. (lurker?? - probably could have found a better word to use on a sex thread!!)

Quite surprised to learn that you are all apparently one-handed typists/teenage boys/sleazy 40+ pervs/men pretending to be women, and now also paedophiles. But in almost all that I've read on here over the past few months, I've found you regulars to be very polite, respectful and decent in the way you post.

Not sure if my opinion means much on MN generally, i'm not the typical poster, what with me being a woman who likes sex, doesn't much like children, doesn't hate men and doesn't blame every man for things that one bad person has done to her in the past. Just wanted to say please don't go, don't abandon ship. (Did Jude really go? She talked a lot of sense. I hope she comes back soon)

Has anyone actually been on the Lit forum? I think it might be exactly what a lot of you are after. It's a very busy, active forum. There are lots of boards to chat about all kinds of stuff. Plenty non sexual too! There is lots of kinky fetish stuff but plenty of vanilla people like me there as well! There is a board to post personals so you can ask for pms to your preferences. So can ask for people from the UK if you'd prefer.
When you log in it shows which members are active so I'll often get a handful of pms just by being logged in and browsing the site. The same if you post and interact on the boards. I've found people will pm about what I've posted or ask if I want to chat.
So far I've found people to be respectful. I've not had an inbox full of dick pics! If I don't want to chat, I don't reply to a pm and that's that.

I'd be pretty cautious about recommending other sites on here for sex purposes. A lovely poster, who was only trying to be helpful, got torn to shreds on another thread recently for doing that.

I do understand what you're saying but I'm sure it's fine. Literotica has been mentioned on this board for audio porn and people chat about feeld and KK etc.

I guess if MN want to delete then that's up to them.

As for the site mentioned up thread (we won’t link), it has been recommended by MNers to other posters for years and we’ve not had previous concerns raised about it but we’ll have a further discussion about the points made on this thread.

Literotica includes material of exactly the same nature as the site whose mention on here caused such a furore the other day. In my view, people are quite able to navigate round that kind of content, but there are those on here who will seize any opportunity to start a fight about it - so beware.

@OhAMilkshake I was the poster @everywhichway was referring to earlier. I hadn’t realised some of the content on the erotica site which I had linked. I was then jumped on for promoting incest and paedophilia. Honestly, it was fucking bonkers and it really upset me!! They will be reporting your post if you don’t.

It was more than bonkers but I think it's fine for anyone to report anything they're concerned about and let MNHQ make the call.

Starting threads in Site Stuff to attack an individual is another thing altogether, self reporting won't prevent that and I think HQ was pretty clear on their view of that by the number of deletions and freezing of the thread.
