Let me preface this with making it clear I have no repressed issues regarding dh having the odd hand shandy before I get an onslaught of martial advice insults.

So when I'm away with ds anywhere, I always come back to dh's soggy, crusty tissues, boxers, t shirts on his side of the bed. I thought it was kind of funny, kind of gross and kind of disrespectful but I'm sure I do plenty of irritating things too. Nobody is perfect. actually I don't and I am.

Coming back today from a night away with ds who's 2.5 and sleeps in the same room as us I am annoyed. And a bit disgusted. Next to ds's bed where dh clearly slept (it is a lot more comfortable than ours to be fair) is a LOT of crusty, spunky tissues.

Aibu to think this is pretty nasty as ds could, and did get hold of them before I noticed and because he did it in ds's bed?

Am I being silly being pissed off about it? It's pretty fucking rude to just leave it there too for me to pick up like Dobby the fucking jizz elf I'm thinking.

I don't think I'm particularly prudish but maybe I am!

The more I think about this (not that I want to 😷) the more I actually can't believe he is so blatant about it - I could quite happily believe my DP doesn't wank as I've never found any trace in the 6 years we have been together.

To be honest I'm trying to joke about it as the alternative is to go beserk or have a cry. Neither of which is an option with ds about to wake up.

I've told him not to come home as I'm too mad and upset.

The thought of him getting off in ds's bed is making me feel sick and irrational so I'm hoping to God he keeps his distance for a bit.

I send DH a picture of his on the odd occasion I find them. This is after a few months of having asked him to clean up after himself. It seems to have worked.

That is beyond grim. Really vile of him to 'tend' to himself without cleaning it up properly afterwards.

For me the worst aspect of this is him just leaving his spunky tissues on the floor of his family home expecting you to pick them up. I can't get worked up over him sleeping in his ds's bed if it's more comfortable than yours. It was just an empty bed.

I remember someone talking about how her DH used to leave coffee cups on the side of the sink for her to wash up, and she made him say 'Fuck you (her name)' every time she found one there. It made him see the blatant disrespect involved in the action.

If you do continue picking up his spunky articles, do not wash them. Put them in his car, spunky bits strategically touching the upholstery. See how long he enjoys having that game.

This is very disturbing as well as gross. I'm sorry to ask this but have you considered your dh got some sexual thrill from the fact he was in your son's bed while was massaging his penis? He doesn't sound at all right in the head as wanking in your child's bed is gross and totally abnormal. I couldn't stay with this man if i were you and I would not want my son around him. Imagine if you had a daughter and he had a wank in her bed. Would you feel she was safe around him?

This turned my stomach. There's nothing wrong with a man wanking no, and I'd be annoyed if I found the used tissues (especially multiple times) but it's the childs bed part that makes me feel ill.
