For those in long term relationships with small children...
How often do you actually have sex?!

Massive variation tbh. We have gone a month without before. In the last year between 2 and 6 time a week. (Multiple DC one under 2)

Since all our kids have moved into their own bedrooms (a year and a half ago) and sleep through the night I'd say it varies from 5-7 nights a week. we never go more than one night in a row without it. Previously when my son was younger than two we'd go up to a month without. I started to enjoy sex a lot more when I hit 30.

He's three now. Girls are 6 and 11.

After the morning sickness ended when I was pg with Dd, DH could barely keep me off him! Then it went to a few times a week after she was born and stayed that way for about a year.
Now I'm pg with DC2, we've been lucky if I feel up to it a few times a month which has been shit, but I've been so tired! Seem to be getting past that now though

Once or twice a week. One dd who's 3 and still doesn't sleep through the night and has recently decided 5am is a good time to get up for the day so we're both shattered all the time. Just started ttc no2 though so this will be increasing!

At least once a day. Daughter is 2, and I'm 20 weeks pregnant with number 2.

Varies, sometimes once a week, sometimes 3. Depends how busy things are that week. If we have a babysitter (auntie) and a date night = 3 times that week
I know couples with 2 young children that have sex once a day and couples that have sex once or twice a month, and both seem happy.

Loads of women I know increase drive as they get older I think. Have been with DH 10 years. Am 28.

It honestly has varied so much. We've probably had two or three six month of more patches in our relationship where we've done it only like once or twice a month. I think generally as a woman it's a more you do it the more you want to. If I didn't for ages I could quite easily just forget about it forever. Whereas if I do it often I want it more.

Also agree with PP that it doesn't matter. The times we've had lots and the times we've had little have had absolutely no link to how good or bad our relationship is at that time.

I have loads.of sex... but With my husband... rarely.

I'm 24, husband is 33. He we have sex every night, and if we have time, in the mornings too.

34. We have a 5yo a 9 month old and I'm 20weeks pg with DC3. Twice a week, but we are currently on a medically enforced sex ban 😭.

Not everyone has sex every week or whatever.
Nothing to do with the dcs though. Just a complex situation incl ill health, lower sex drive etc etc

Once a year ...

Both 36, dd is 3, due to work we go to bed at different times most of the time so we get a session in when and as we can. But it also depends what sort of session we have, a simple shag is one thing, a bells and whistles session is much rarer.

It used to be 1-2 weekly but within the last 6 months or so it's dropped to monthly. I couldn't be happier about that either, sex has been a chore for a long time for me.

I'm quite embarrassed now. We probably manage 1-2 times a week.

I know dh would prefer once a day but there's no chance. Before we had kids (ages 5 & 2) my sex drive was higher than his. Now his is high for some reason.
