Hi my partner of 2/3 years put his hands round my throat 3 weeks ago couldn't breathe for about 15 seconds and he let go.ive since had trouble/ pain in my throat and heartburn alot plus I have become forgettable can these symptoms be due to this or would the symptoms have dissapeared by now?

Text a friend to have them call 999 on your behalf tell them it's an emergency, you are trapped in the house and he won't let you leave and that he has threatened to kill you and himself. Just send one text.

Can you get out of a window? If you can I honestly would leg it at this point, call the police, tell them EVERYTHING he has done and if you even think of wavering just focus on your little boys face when you're safe and happy and free of this man.

I’m surprised the hostel/probation officer haven’t flagged concerns to the social to safeguard your son once they knew he spends so much time with you, as they would be aware he is non compliant with authority. I’m surprised school haven’t told Dad what your son told them. All these places would also support you - you could be kept safe in the school whilst stuff was sorted. I’m surprised your guy hasn’t hurt your cat already but leave him at the vets if you can get him there.
I’m not totally sure what’s going on to be honest but you definitely need help and you need to speak to your GP - you can’t live like this - literally.

At this point though if it's not true, you can hide the thread. If it is true, there's a woman and child in danger. So best to err on the side of caution IMO.

When he's like this he follows me around the house even if I say I'm getting a glass of water because I've done it before run out of house from him when he was being voilent so now he knoes.my bathroom is downstairs I don't have a upstairs so I gotta go past the bathroom where he will see me to get out I'm that scared of running and him catching me.

Also when I posted about similar all I got was people saying what a bad mum I was etc..how do some women get sympathy and others don't.

There is too much here to unpick. Hard to make sense of it.
However the OP originally asked about her neck. She knew our responses, has she been to the doctor I wonder?

I'm sure all this is him leading up to blaming me for cheating because I'm due the drs Tomorrow for him to turn round say he's caught something of me like he knows he has something I can't type now guys as he walked in and seen me close page and said tlskibg to your other bf r u I can't risk him getting a mood on I'm gonna just stay on sofa with him watch a film and hope for a peaceful night I'm never feleing like this again tomorrow has to be the day no matter how hard and stressful I can't keep feleing like this in my own home.

Op what is he doing whist you are on the phone?

Is he taking drugs at the moment, it seems whatever situation has been unfolding his behaviour is becoming worse and you no longer feel in control.

Is he becoming more eratic and unpredictable?

What are you actually doing in the evening, watching tv or is he using different substances and talking/rambling because it sounds as though you are with him but not conversing with him and interacting with him, if that makes sense.

As though you are just watching him, the conversation you are having with MN is though you are whispering to us and he is not fully aware of what you are doing.

It sounds as though you are just trying to pacify him when he turns attention on you, and then he's distracted, what is he doing?

I can't get out of the house givingfuckdaily he keeps my keys on him so my door is locked this is what I mean he has all my keys etc he knoes I've called police before on him well he's been out the room he's now extra careful that I don't call them again

So how do you get out in the mornings to take your son to school?

Either you've lied all along and he's living there and has contact with your son or this is all a fabrication. Either way, start telling the truth, to yourself. We are all concerned for you but actually you are only concerned for yourself. Either ring the police or be done and accept that he will one day kill you. This thread could go on for years. And for saying we don't understand, I do. I've been there. And I got rid. Running out of sympathy and saving it for your neglected child

He finally went to sleep.he isn't here when my son goes to school his dad will be dropping him off soon so my partner goes at around 7.30 because my son comes here at 7.15 so today is the day I am going to book drs and get away.i have to lastnight I was having to justify myself when I hadn't even done anything in starting to hate him.

Onthedunes no he's not on any substance when he's here he always slips in to drugs when he goes bk to hostel when he's in my town he doesn't touch them.his parania makes him angry etc even tho I do nothing to cause his paranoia what so ever I am always apologizing to things I haven't even done.

Just go into the school and don’t come out - it can all be sorted from there. I’m not sure if you’re at the docs or just booking the docs, I honestly think either can wait - you have one shot.
I’m not sure if you mixed your times up but looks like your son turns up before your guy leaves - not ideal, but you know that.
Of course his paranoia is high, drugs don’t help this even if not taken with you, but mainly he’ll be able to ‘sniff’ you pulling away from him - we can all do that - trouble is it’s very dangerous when a violent person thinks their partner is leaving.
Honestly, you need to go to the head at school and tell them today - get moved safely with professional support today. That is number one priority and other stuff will fall into place afterwards.
