How often do men wash!?!

It’s really starting to bother me how often my partner has a shower! I have mentioned this to him a few times now but we are now on day 4 of him having no wash at all! I shower everyday however I realise a daily shower isn’t needed for everyone. But am I being unreasonable to think he should be washing at least every other day? All I can think about is that his body hasn’t been washed in 4 days and as much as I love him it’s really off putting. I haven’t even wanted to sit near him tonight. He seems to see it as a bit of a joke, or says “that’s boys for you!” He’s in his 40s by the way so he’s not a teenager! I would be interested to hear from men too as to how often they hit the shower! Thanks in advance.

Daily here, and he's an office worker. I would have thought a manual worker would need to jump in the shower after work each day. 4 days is definitely too long if you can smell him and it's affecting your relationship.

DH showers every day and he doesn't have an active job or anything. He prefers to shower before bed, I shower in the morning (on an average day!). All good. We would stink if we didn't shower for four days and would be really uncomfortable.

DP showers daily. If he didn't he wouldn't be sleeping in my bed and I certainly wouldn't be having sex with him.

Both DS's shower most days. They might skip one day every few weeks.

I couldn't stay with someone who doesn't shower or wash for 4 days at a time. Gross.

I shower once, or twice if I've exercised or it's summer (enjoy a cold one).

I have a good pal who will regularly go days without and ends up kicking up big time. When he's stayed with me I tell him he's stinking my place up and tell him to sort it out. Don't even be gentle about it.

Personal hygiene is paramount.

@woolyjumper21 have you spoken to him yet? I’m sure not showering that long must leave him open to things like thrush and bacteria going into overdrive on areas like downstairs and armpits. It’s really disgusting. Even when I had depression I managed a shower

No, and his latest girlfriend left him because of his bad breath. I don't get it.
