DP said a very strange thing tonight ?!

DP has called by tonight to hang out for the evening with me and the kids .
When he came through the door the first thing he said was ‘ok so where are these sausage rolls to reheat ?’
Earlier today my mum who was caring for the kids whilst I worked, cooked some sausage rolls and left the remaining ones we didn’t eat in oven for me to reheat for DP and kids tonight.
There’s no way he’d have known of this as both myself , nor my mum have mentioned this to him today and he knew they were in there without being told or even looking . They hadn’t recently been cooked and place didn’t smell of them.
When I questioned him on how he knew, he just said ‘ oh, instinct I guess’ no further explanation
Is it strange he said that? I can’t quite work this out !!

If he's spying on why would he say something like that knowing it would make you suspicious.

Have you scrolled through to check you didn’t mention them?

People do make mistakes but it’s a whopper that you’d have thought he’d be mindful of, if he’s been tracking you for a while.

He can definately sniff out a good sausage.

If he was spying on you why would he give the game away by mentioning the sausage rolls? Unless he wants you to suspect he may be, which again is strange.
Challenge him again, he hasn’t given you a good explanation.

Its too specific to be a coincidence especially if he said about reheating. Id be worried he was spying on you

I've read some of your other threads (oddly enough one of them was about sausages, too ) and tbh I think you're in a very unhealthy relationship.

It might help you to go back over your previous posts and make notes of all the odd (frankly, weird) things this guy has done, and everything that's happened since he's been with you, from him misusing your computer and gaslighting you about it, to him preferring sex with you when you don't want it, and now this strong indication that he's recording you in your own home.

Please don't brush this off.

I think he's listening in somehow - could be as simple as a 'pen' or 'usb' voice recorder. But likely something that transmits (eg. phone) if he walked in saying that.

A LOT commoner than people tend to want to think. Have come across more cases than I can count indirectly via work.

Not helped by the fact that it's entirely legal to buy these devices, and they are easily procured. Therefore, paranoid/controlling people can deceive themselves into thinking they're not doing anything all that unusual or wrong.
