Good luck OP and stay strong. Remember how happy DS is and you can be too! Wishing you strength

Raisingwildanimals · 29/11/2019 07:26

Good luck OP. Your strength is amazing, you should be so proud of yourself for what you’re doing x

IdiotInDisguise · 29/11/2019 07:29

Op, best of luck. It is stressful but you will find a way. I have found that the best answer when someone says the perpetrator is lovely, is to answer “of course he is, how else do you think he gets away with it???” It is beggars belief the female police doesn’t know that.

In your previous thread you mentioned there was no point in sending him to school. You know what is best for your child but bear in mind that if he is settled at school we’re you currently are, it is more difficult (far more difficult) for your ex to fight to become the resident parent. I would send him just because it would make things easier and keep you both safer.

Best of luck in court today, I have found my best way to cope is not to over think things, turn the phone off and concentrate on what is happening around you, clarity of thought comes first on a day of court.

stophuggingme · 29/11/2019 08:21

Today will soon be done one way or another

Remember this if you are scared: it takes a total coward and person of zero real strength to abuse you in the way he has. He is just a shell.
Also remember what you have have discovered about him. He is not normal. You and most definitely your soon to be two sons are better as far away from him as possible. He has already shown he is a controlling liar. Not a good start in any court.

I am thinking of you and willing you on.
You are stronger than you will ever know.
