Thank you for your continued support, I'm starting this thread regarding the impending court hearing tomorrow, if someone could link my previous thread that would ne highly appreciated!

OP I haven’t read your whole first thread but I’ve read enough to be a bit freaked out as I went through exactly the same thing. I was worried it might have been the same guy.

My ex lied about his name, age and just about everything else. My daughter also has a fake name on her birth certificate. I ended up going to court 19 times to protect my daughter from him.

That’s a very short version, it’s a long story and the abuse he put me through was horrific. It turned out he has antisocial personality disorder (a psychopath).

I had a book published about what happened to me, you might find it interesting. PM me if you want me to tell you the name of it.

Will be reporting the thread, I had forgot if was moved, had nightmares but awake now, we get on the road in 1 hour, cannot wait until tomorrow when today is over!

Good luck OP. I know it must be terrifying, but you can do this. You've been amazing so far, and your son is lucky to have you. An abusive parent is incredibly damaging over time, but your son seems to be as strong as his Mum is, and you both deserve all the happiness the world has to offer.

I remember reading your first post then never went back to the thread - I can't believe how it's progressed! Good luck today, stay strong, you are on the right track. It may get harder before it gets better but better is out there.
