DH claims to have a booked a hotel room for his male friend for tonight (friend travelled over last month, stayed one night couple weeks ago). He went straight from work to meet friend and go out for dinner. Came home just before 1am to drop their leftovers and then left to say he staying at hotel with friend. I think that’s odd. What you guys think?

Don’t trust him. Cheated before. The hotel won’t put me through to him. It’s not right at all.

What are you going to do now op? It's very strange!

@Emily312, not having anyone on.
Hotel says not putting me through to the room as after 11pm. Will call in the morning to see who answers.
It’s 1 double room for 2 persons.
He taking the mick, I threatened him with divorce last year but did not follow through, as I just became anxious about how to go about it. My confidence has been knocked down. I can’t continue like this.

Hmmm. When this friend stayed at yours last time, was there any tension? For example did you argue with your DH, hence why DH has booked a hotel room this time? What was the behaviour like between DH and his friend when the friend stayed at yours?

It is strange because your DH has pre-empted that TWO adults would be staying in the room (him and his friend) in ONE bed according to the booking your DH made Hmm

Did your DH show you the booking or did you happen to come across it?

Yes I can see the friend has stayed at yours before, but did it go ok? Nothing happened to make the friend or DH to decide to book a hotel room this time round?

I hope you are ok OP, and that you feel confident enough to follow through with whatever plan you need to implement going forwards. Be it you stay with DH or decide enough is enough. Good luck Flowers

I'd be going to the hotel and waiting to catch him out, he will have to come down at some point for breakfast or to check out.

@Emily312 - called the hotel they will not put me thru to the room, I wanted to go there but unless I knock every room door, not gonna find him. He has cheated before, that is why I find this situation suspicious. Was tempted to pack his stuff and leave it in his car outside the hotel.
I think this, on top of the rubbish state of our relationship, is showing me that it can’t continue.

@liloed, no reason why he would stay in a hotel. He has stayed here loads of times. Even stayed with 3 of his kids once, and he stayed over last week.

The good news is that it's not as if you're going to have to go to a lot of trouble to find out if he's sneaking off to hotels. And that losing confidence is the step that most people go through BEFORE they just get righteously fed up with the bullshit. It's time to take out the trash, sister.

@Catbrat same here, I'd be certainly waiting there armed with a few questions to ask.

Either the friend is safely home in his own bed and your H has a woman in the hotel, or the father of at least three kids and your H are gay..

It doesn't actually matter what he is up to.
He cheated before, the OP caught him, and putting her through this wringer even if it's completely innocent is disrespectful to the point of being cruel.
