Third date we went for dinner. He was driving and i ended up drinking quite a lot, but less than i have done on many occasions! He ended up back at my house and the obvious happened. For the ext few days i felt like i've never felt before, felt like i was going ot pass out, palpitations, etc. Felt ill for about a week. I'm wondering if he might have put something in my drinks? Or maybe it was just a stange reaction.. Any thoughts?

Hmm - OD doesn't need to be this dramatic.

Just move on, plenty more decent people out there.

heyho1919 · 27/05/2014 09:41

I didn't reply to the text he sent asking if we could still see eachother. he's just sent another text asking for my email address so the ticket company can email me the vouchers he wants me to pay for. I'm relucatant to give him my email address. Thought maybe ask him to give me the booking company details so i can sort? or set up a temp email address?!

Just tell him to find another mug to use the tickets with.

heyho1919 · 27/05/2014 10:15

Very tempting but don't want to provoke him. Think I'll just set up a new email address

OP posts:
Lweji · 27/05/2014 10:15

Good idea. :)

heyho1919 · 27/05/2014 17:21

Sent him the new email address. No sign of the vouchers yet. Hopefully he'll disappear now...

I must admit that's what I'd do. Not sure whether you'll get any mail to it which isn't from him, and probably 20 or 30 a day. Somehow I feel you won't see those vouchers.

Jux · 27/05/2014 17:30

Whatever you do, don't reply to any of his emails.

heyho1919 · 27/05/2014 17:58

If i do receive the voucher and pay him i was going to pay him by paypal. But i think then he'll see my main email address (ie the one connected to my paypal account)?

OP posts:
GarlicMayonnaise · 27/05/2014 18:42

You can add your new email address to your Paypal account (in Profile). When you want to make the payment, make sure you log in to Paypal with the new address ... if he sends your voucher!

heyho1919 · 27/05/2014 19:06

Thanks Garlic :)

Glad you created another email. Wise move.

My friend was spiked recently. She said she had hardly drunk anything when it hit her, the room spun and she felt sick. She couldn't speak properly and was scared to death. She also nipped to the loo, leaving her glass, a couple of times and was with a big group of women. She had a racing heart and felt shaky for a couple of days afterwards but she was adamant it was an entirely different feeling to having one too many but hard to describe. She just knew something was wrong.

Hope he hasn't got your address? I would block his number now otr ignore any future contact. Having only just met you and already not wanting to wear condoms etc is odd. Hope he used protection and if you aren't sure maybe get checked out?

heyho1919 · 27/05/2014 20:56

Unfortunately he does know my address. He's back on the dating site so hopefully he'll move on now!

heyho1919 · 28/05/2014 10:54

Well he did send the voucher along with a request i transfer the money to his bank account...

OP posts:
TalisaMaegyr · 28/05/2014 11:05

Are you going to?

bumbleymummy · 28/05/2014 11:17

Why are you dragging this out? Transfer the money and move on.

heyho1919 · 28/05/2014 11:17

I will, then hopefully that will be the last i hear from him!

OP posts:
TalisaMaegyr · 28/05/2014 14:59

I must admit heyho, I'm also a bit confused as to why you haven't done it already Confused

Unless of course you don't have the money, in which case I shall stfu!

TalisaMaegyr · 28/05/2014 22:39

So did you pay him the money and now it's all done OP?

heyho1919 · 29/05/2014 08:53

Yes, all sorted yesterday. Sen the money, he said thanks and wished me luck for the future, i did the same. For some reason i felt really sad afterwards and still do a bit :(

OP posts:
TalisaMaegyr · 29/05/2014 12:42

Why do you feel sad? Confused

AndTheBandPlayedOn · 29/05/2014 13:05

Well heyho, don't let a little scripted nice-nice at the end make you blink.
This one doesn't need second guessing.
Stand firm.

Hissy · 29/05/2014 13:10

You're bound to feel a bit sad, because you were mistaken about him. The end represents the end of hope of a relationship with him. Completely normal.

The worrying about him/the money etc is because you are a people pleaser nice person.

:)

It's ok to be 'nice' but only to those who deserve it, right?

heyho1919 · 30/05/2014 00:18

Oh thanks everyone :) I think you're right Hissy - it's the end of hope which is the issue as he seemed so nice to start with and so much better than most of my online dates!
