Last time I was dating I was 18, stretchmark free and didn't have any body hangups.

I have met someone who seems great, been dating for a month and I really fancy him. He has been living with his ex wife while they sold house/had joint christmas with kids and just moved into his own place.

All our dates so far have been public places but he has asked if I want to come to his new house and I'm terrified of the sex thing.

He's an athlete and very fit. I've seen photos of his ex and she is gorgeous/toned/pretty. I'm fit/healthy weight but without clothes it's not pretty.

We'd agreed to take stuff slowly but there is a lot of sexual chemistry and I really want to but scared he won't like me once he sees me naked.

I am very much looking forward to a repeat performance. There were some minor technical setbacks which I am hoping thinking were nerves. Without gruesome detail he was very attentive and made sure I was happy.

I was not expecting the intense bit. At the risk of sounding like a bloke I haven't given much thought to the relationship beyond enjoying spending time with him and wanting to shag him. He has given it a bit more thought and said lots of very nice things about me and made a few references to things in a few months time.

We have only been seeing each other five weeks so I hadn't really considered anything even vaguely in the future. This doesn't mean I don't think we will be together then, just that I hadn't thought that far yet.

It reminds me of my time after divorce and the whole dating thing again. I found it so liberating and exciting. I can honestly say that I had more fun then than I did in my early twenties and I was pretty wild then.

I found after coming out of a long term relationship that sex toys and a few raunchy DVD's got me more into that frame of mind...doesn't work for everyone...but I'm now ina new relationship which is going well in that department.

Thanks to the male and female members of my support crew. All is rampantly happy and nerves mostly sorted. I saw him at training thursday and managed a coherent short conversation in public so am majorly chilling out. Also I took a good look at myself in underwear today and i am ok with how I look. In dim lighting it is much better but I am fit and healthy so should be grateful for this.

At training this morning my friend told me that she'd heard muscles had the hots for me. Through the club grapevine. I haven't fessed up yet to her as didn't want to jinx anything but had there not been eavesdroppers loitering I would have. Am training first thing tomorrow so should opportunity arise I will tell her the score.
