Last time I was dating I was 18, stretchmark free and didn't have any body hangups.

I have met someone who seems great, been dating for a month and I really fancy him. He has been living with his ex wife while they sold house/had joint christmas with kids and just moved into his own place.

All our dates so far have been public places but he has asked if I want to come to his new house and I'm terrified of the sex thing.

He's an athlete and very fit. I've seen photos of his ex and she is gorgeous/toned/pretty. I'm fit/healthy weight but without clothes it's not pretty.

We'd agreed to take stuff slowly but there is a lot of sexual chemistry and I really want to but scared he won't like me once he sees me naked.

Just went through the whole experience myself recently. Sex has turned out to be so good I have been left wondering if everyone's experience of sex is like that and i only just found out!! It has been like discovering a different dimension!!!

Am very self concious about boobs/tum. I just kept underwear on and it gave me the confidence to let go and enjoy myself, be in the moment etc. Just took it off with him this week. Still feel exposed and vulnerable as am very conditioned to want to be perfect but just decided to 'fake it till i make it' and not say anything as I just felt it would draw attention to my insecurities...

Am a 32F and HATE having the puppies roam free, they look so much better with underwear. I wear a bra about 20% of the time 'in action' and LOVE how it frees me up to be less self-conscious. But I wouldn't ever tell the bloke about it, you need to maintain a bit of mystery.

Yes verysomething, I agree, I don't think when it comes to sex that drawing too much attention to one's body insecurities is a good idea. Well, that's the conclusion I have come to anyway. If I act more confident I get more confident and the whole thing is like a positive feedback loop where I end up feeling more desirable and therefore sexy.

When I did finally disrobe completely and he said my tits looked great, I was thinking, well, he might a) be saying it to be nice, or b) he might be saying it because he thinks they look great - and i'm going to choose to believe b)as I am probably my own worst critic, as many of us are surrounded by airbrushed images of perfection.

I did however admit to him that being naked made me feel vulnerable - so was honest in a non specific way if you see what I mean, so still being true to myself.
