Trying24 · 26/10/2024 20:09

Im 5 weeks and due 30th June 🥰

giaTTC · 26/10/2024 21:22

I'm 6 weeks and 2 days and due on 19th June 😊 already had an early scan and saw a heartbeat! Feeling soooo tired 😴

CSSL7 · 27/10/2024 08:41

Eeeek! Yay! So excited for all of us!

im currently having cramps, so tired and lack motivation to do anything. Super hungry. And I think I’m starting to feel sick on a night - I’m seven weeks on Tuesday so have a feeling sickness is gonna start coming this week 😭

how is everyone else feeling?!

this is my first pregnancy after a sixteen week loss in May so I’m VERY anxious waiting for 10 week mark when we get to do our NIPT test.

Hi all,
Hoping to join you!
I'm 6 weeks and due 22 June per NHS calculator. First baby and I'm geriatric dinosaur mumma. Have been pretty nauseas but not been sick much.
@giaTTC did you get a private scan? I'm thinking of maybe doing one as I'd also like to get a NIPT early, but a bit worried these private places are just a money grab. What was your experience if you don't mind me asking?

Hi 😊 I've been bleeding on and off slightly so was feeling a bit worried (plus it's an ivf pregnancy so double worried, haha). I booked a private scan at 6 weeks and saw a heartbeat! It definitely put my mind at ease so would definitely recommend. I did have another scan 5 days later at my fertility clinic as that was planned anyway. I paid £75 for the private scan which is quite expensive but I think there are more expensive places out there!

Welcome!! It’s so lovely there’s a few of us!

I also haven’t been sick yet 🙏🏼 I don’t feel sick either anymore just sometimes feel a bit unwell. But the hunger is killing me. I constantly have to be eating.

I’ve even soooooooo tempted to get a private scan honestly. My first one is in ten days so I’ll be 9 weeks. So I’ve lasted so far so hoping to just wait.

Have you been trying long?? Xxx

Thanks both! Maybe I'll see what they say at my appointment next week and decide after that.
We were trying for about 4 months so we were lucky it didn't take too long.
I just feel like I have a mild hangover 80% of the time, so really hope that passes!
What are you guys doing for vitamins? I've just kept taking my usual multi vitamin as it has the recommended folic acid and Vitamin D so figured no reason to change (and doesn't have retinol).

Gooseygander555 · 01/11/2024 18:02

@giaTTC sorry to hear you've had bleeding but glad you've now had reassurance!
I had a bit yesterday, was a bit worried but it stopped and haven't any today so I think it's all ok.

I'm on pregnacare original, as was on the pre conception pregnacare before. I'm sure it's fine, I've been told as long as it's not bright red with clots then probably ok. Although any little thing worries you doesn't it?!

I’m on quite a pricey vitamin - Naître. I took their fertility supplement and moved onto pregnancy vitamins. This is only because we had a 16 week loss due to chromosomal abnormalities so I took those and coq-10 in the hope that it improves egg quality. I’m so desperate for my scan and NIPT now 😭 the days go so slow.

Hi everyone, can I join? According to the nhs calculator I’m due on 22nd June. It’s my first pregnancy and we’d been trying for 6 months - typically the month I hadn’t tracked anything or taken any vitamins we got pregnant!
So far my symptoms are extreme hunger - feel like I need to eat constantly, feel nauseous unless I’m eating but I really don’t want to eat anything, and very tired and low motivation. I’ve felt a bit down about how I’m feeling and worried it’s going to get worse, I’m an overthinker when it comes to being ill. It definitely feels like a hangover as you said @Gooseygander555!
Congratulations everyone ❤️

Hello everyone 👋
I’m due 25th June. I had lots of cramping when my period was due, and then when it didn’t come, I tested, so this is a happy accident, and my first.
Apart from really sore breasts I’ve not had any other symptoms so it feels a bit strange. We’re off on holiday in a week so I’ve got an early private scan booked in this week as I don’t want to find myself in a foreign hospital with problems… but also I don’t want to cancel a holiday for no reason!

Congrats to you too! It’s awful isn’t it, feeling so hungry but not wanting anything at all. I managed an ice lolly this evening as also don’t fancy water. But it’s all for good reasons and good signs of baby being safe I hope!

Best of luck with your scan.
I'm trying to wait a few more weeks :) xx

Due date twins!

Thank you, it all went well, I got to see the heartbeat and it was confirmed in the correct location and measuring well. Means I can go on holiday with a few less worries!

How is yours going?

And how are you all doing @Moneyworrier123 @CSSL7 @giaTTC @Gooseygander555 ?

So glad you saw the heartbeat @AnotherDelphinium , hope you can really enjoy your holiday! How are your symptoms?
Much the same here thank you for asking. I’m really finding it hard to drink so am quite dehydrated, if anyone has any tips? I am starting to manage the nausea better as I’m learning what works and doesn’t. And still very very tired! Overall I feel lucky so far. Very thankful I can work from home.

Gooseygander555 · 07/11/2024 17:14

@AnotherDelphinium so glad to hear the scan went well!
I have my booking appointment next week. Still debating getting a private scan as I'd like an early NIPT...
Symptoms have been ok... been sick a few times, usually in the morning if I don't eat. But last night all my dinner came up so not sure what's going on there! Still feel nauseous 80% of the time 🙃

AnotherDelphinium · 07/11/2024 18:02

@Moneyworrier123 I have so few symptoms, apart from lots of cramp. I’ve felt slightly nauseous if I let myself get really hungry. Oh the dehydration isn’t good. Someone else mentioned ice lolly’s and ginger ale, have you tried either of those?

@Gooseygander555 they moved my booking in appointment as I’m away, but please let us know how yours goes! I’m 37 so I think I’m going to have a NIPT. I’ve been looking at one by Natera that they send to the US, which ones have you been considering?

teampacey · 07/11/2024 18:05

Hi! I'm due 18/06 so 8+1. My third baby but IVF after a large gap and my youngest is 12!
I've had some early scans- most recent was Sunday and all was good with a little heartbeat. Had my booking appointment yesterday and my dating scan is 6/12. Been quite sicky and the same about needing to eat but not really fancying anything!

Sorry that you’re having cramping, another reason it’s lovely you saw little one’s heartbeat 💕
i have tried ice lollies, they’re good. Haven’t tried ginger ale so will get some of that thank you. I also froze some squash and seem to be able to ‘eat’ the ice cubes 😂

Gooseygander555 · 07/11/2024 18:49

@AnotherDelphinium I'm 36 so probably similar worries to you! Is this your first?

So far so good over here. My symptoms are heartburn and constant hunger. 8w2d today and first scan is in 5 days! I can’t wait to see if all is well but also dreading it. Just can’t wait to have the NIPT results back so I know we can get excited finally.

a tip I have for anyone suffering with sickness from my last pregnancy was that I would brush my teeth in the shower! Not sure why it helped, maybe the distraction? But it just helped stop me gagging.

im just eating little and always at the moment it seems lol.

has anyone else had early scans? How did they go? I’ve been on window the womb daily so tempted to book a scan but I’ve resisted. Purely because it’s obviously a lot of money but I just keep thinking I’ll find out whatever I need to know at 9 weeks.

my anxiety is going to be sky high on Tuesday 😭

Has anyone’s sickness / nausea started at 8 weeks? I’m 8w5d today and I feel so unwell. I thought I’d perhaps gotten away with it but it’s appeared later than usual.
