New thread seeing as the other one is full! I’ll try to tag as many people as I can seeing as the other one is full so I can’t post a link…

@WinsandSam I’ve managed to book for Thursday with the GP now. When I spoke to the ultrasound team at the hospital they just said I’d need to come to the other hospital for it.

I was surprised the GP appointment will be so quick! Thought they’d either say no or tell me they could fit me in in 4 weeks.

WinsandSam · 07/05/2024 17:35

@RosiePH that's great! Yes I had mine in the same week I called. Had zero side effects from it luckily, just a bit of a sore arm. So have it in your right arm so you can still sleep well

Happylittlebump · 07/05/2024 17:35

Just checking in, the scan went very well. Thank you for your kind wishes, I didn't sleep much last night I felt anxious about today. I will be joining the little girl club 🙂

RosiePH · 07/05/2024 17:42

@WinsandSam hoping for no side effects! DH has already got the man flu, so I’m hoping not to catch that in time for my scan!

rupertbear91 · 07/05/2024 17:51

Congrats on all the positive scans today!

I need to book my whooping cough vaccine in at the GP too was going to do it this week but think I will wait till this lovely sore throat/nasty cold vanishes first

Can’t believe it but we’re coming to the end of the thread again!

If anyone else wants to start a new one please go ahead and put the link in here (rather than what happened last time where we filled up the thread then it took ages for everyone to find the new one 😂)

BeautyAndTheBump1 · 07/05/2024 18:25

Great to hear that everyone has had good scan news today! It seems to be the week of lots of scans this week doesn't it 🥰 I've got mine on Thursday!

LSW82 · 07/05/2024 23:33

Loving all the happy scan news. Mine isn't until next Thursday - feeling super nervous already as not really feeling any movement yet! Got lots of other aches & pains though!!!

Thankyou @Lillers 😘

Had my gender scan yesterday and also got told I've got an anterior placenta which is also low lying and over the birth canal, she said hopefully it will move up as I get further along. Anyone else had this in previous pregnancies?

I had such a positive vaginal birth experience with my first, I was hoping for the same again! The thought of a c-section scares me!

Hello 👋🏼. My sister has had a vaginal, a c-section, and a v-bac. She said the c-section was the easiest recovery!!! Every time is different. I was terrified of hospital births, but when #3 decided to be late, they wanted to induce me so I went to the hospital, and I am SO GLAD I did because I had horrible back labor and needed all the meds 😂
