Yay, thread 2. I got my NHS scan letter this morning for the 29th of April - eek! I'm not having any private scans or anything before this, so seems like so far away at the moment! ☺️

@luc243 my scan is the same day! Agree it feels absolutely ages always- can't believe it's still March and it'll be basically May before I can tell people!

@piechipsgravy Aww that's so exciting, scan twins! Hopefully not actual twins. I've felt so bloated this week that the scary thought of twins crossed my mind...😂

So just an email from HR to say there is an outbreak of Scarlet Fever in the office. I suspected it was my friend so text her asking and she said it's not her who has Scarlet Fever but she does have Whopping Cough 😅

Luckily NHS website says I should be okay 😂

Following along! No update from me think I’m about 8 weeks. symptoms still mild except I’ve never been this tired in my life 😂 napping every evening when I get in from work!

@luc243 we’re holding out for NHS scan too, 25th April for us!

Thanks for setting up the new thread! I'm at 5+0 today, waiting for my first scan at 7+4 and midwife appt at 9+4. No symptoms except I occasionally feel nauseous...with hunger! I also have the last remnants of OHSS (bloating and general abdominal discomfort, but it has been a LOT better for the last few days).

I've already shared our news with a couple of friends, and will probably tell a couple more soon because they knew I was doing IVF so I feel like I should update them (and I'll want to talk to them if it all goes wrong), but that's it until 12 weeks!!

How many people have you guys told so far?

I had a private scan yesterday at 6+5 and had an EDD of Nov 9th. Early days but feeling positive after 2 previous losses.

Hey everyone. Can't believe there's a second thread already! Boobs are still hurting. I also woke up feeling like I could drink the ocean...so thirsty. Has anyone else had this or is it unrelated?

Ha, yes! It could potentially mean a twin pregnancy. Because they’ve not seen anything in the sacs at the moment, they can’t confirm that but hopefully we will see something more definitive next time. I’m focusing on the HCG being high today and not on the possibility of twins 😬

Oooh I'm so nervous for twins. They're in my family so it's a very real possibility for me!

I have SUCH a dry mouth lately, despite having 6 large glasses of water a day (plus hot drinks).

So my boobs were barely sore at all yesterday and now they are the sorest things in the world 😂 so strange how it varies so much

That's how I woke up today. Dry mouth and super thirsty.

I just remembered there's one set of twins (cousins) on my dad's side. I kinda love the idea of twins in a fantasy world. But the reality is a no thank you for me, I'm afraid.

Mine are kicking my arse since yesterday 😭

@1yearplan ah I'm so pleased for you!! Can I ask what your bleeding is like?
I've had brown spotting every day for 2 weeks now and it doesn't seem to be getting better, if anything it's heavier. I've not had any fresh bleeding, At my scan on Monday the saw a heartbeat and said everything was fine but I can't stop worrying about it.

Anyone else can't stop eating? After I meal I go on an endless search for my next snack (usually a fistful of custard creams)

Mine is the same. Brown spotting everyday. I did have the initial gush of blood last week. The nurse said the spotting is nothing to worry about unless it gets much worse. Some days are heavier than others for me at the moment.
