Due December 2023

1000 replies

s14a · 25/03/2023 20:11

I haven't seen one of these yet for December so thought I'd start one!

I'm due 1st December with hopefully a little rainbow.
I'm on cyclogest because I had 2 losses in the latter end of last year (October and december) at 6 weeks and 10 weeks.

Fingers crossed for lots of December babies!

Thanks for making this thread! I'm 14dpo and bfps the last couple of days! Still being cautious after a very early miscarriage at 5 weeks last month.

s14a · 26/03/2023 13:01

@Oldermum84
I totally understand. I'm still very nervously in this group too.

We had a 6 week loss in October, conceived again the next cycle and then had at a 10 week private scan found out baby stopped growing at 5 weeks.

We had an appointment on Tuesday to discuss assisted conception and medicated cycles and had agreed a plan for some bloods ect to look into miscarriage (this was at a private clinic) and then the next day we had our BFP so straight onto the plan and I'm on cyclogest this time.

My biggest problem is that I need to step away from the tests 😅
I know they have no bearing on how the pregnancy is going but I can't help compare them to my previous losses (even though they were both after I stopped testing!)

Frozendaquiri · 26/03/2023 13:15

We're twins! I'm also due 1st December after getting a BFP yesterday. I'm clearly in some sort of disbelief because I've done 6 more tests since then!

HayleyD93 · 26/03/2023 13:19

Im going to pop a message here as im 4 weeks and 4 days at the moment predicted due date is 29th of November so I think if all goes well I'm more likely looking at a December baby. I had a CP over Xmas but my belly feels different this time and tests look stronger so I'm hoping this one sticks. I'm testing at least twice a day at the moment using cheap test strips. Think I'm going to report pregnancy to drs at about 7 or 8 weeks and flying on holiday for 2 weeks at 10 weeks so may book an early scan at 8 weeks 2 days for piece of mind.

s14a · 26/03/2023 13:52

@Frozendaquiri that's pretty impressive!
We're you expecting a positive this cycle?
I got my bfp on Wednesday at 12 dpo and I've only done cheapies. They are now really clear so I haven't felt the need to do any others (yet!) That will probably change!

@Hayleyd93
Congratulations! Sorry to hear of your loss over Christmas. Fingers crossed this one goes nice and smooth for you.

I have to have a scan on or before 6+4 to continue on the progesterone which is making me quite panicky. My last pregnancy scans were my missed miscarriage which I found really traumatic so I was hoping to do without lots of extras this time (although I know I have to so I'm just going to have to get on with it)

Hi everyone, congratulations 🥳
I think im about 4 weeks 2 days, due 27th november or 1st december depending which calculator I use. I'm 34 and this is my first, so very excited but quite nervous about being a bit older.
Sorry to hear about your past losses @s14a , @Oldermum84 , @HayleyD93 . Here's wishing us all lots of good luck this time.
Is this anyone else's first?

Frozendaquiri · 26/03/2023 15:55

@s14a I wasn't expecting it at all! I only tested as it's routine before starting the next round of treatment for PCOS. I had a month off this month so had tried to put it out of my mind and we only DTD when we felt like it. I have no idea how many DPO I am.

This is my first pregnancy, do I call my GP tomorrow or do I need to wait a few weeks?

Frozendaquiri · 26/03/2023 15:55

Congrats @Lottie3665 it's my first too!

HayleyD93 · 26/03/2023 16:09

@Frozendaquiri last time I rang drs straight away but was ringing them saying i was bleeding a few days later, this time I'm planning on holding back until about 7 weeks just to give myself a bit more time. I'm actually in with the nurse again on Friday for dressing change but unless I end up on antibiotics or she asks I won't be saying anything as I'll only be 5 and 2 days then.
I have read there is tests that they like to do before 10 weeks so I think along as you tell them before then

Lottie3665 · 26/03/2023 16:37

@Frozendaquiri thank you 😊 glad to have a fellow first timer here. I also keep doing tests, my first positive was 9dpo and very faint so I keep having to check it's real.
I called my gp and they said in my area (South London) the GPS aren't involved in maternity care any more and I needed to fill in an online self referral form. So I did that, I've got a call with the midwife in a week and my booking appointment arranged for when I'm 7 weeks.

Aprilsunnyday · 26/03/2023 17:36

@s1s14a Thanks so much for building this new group. Congratulations to everyone.
I am 4 weeks 4 days it seems, and have an early scan booked on April 13th. (due to age and miscarriage history) It does feel like quite far away at the moment though, a few hurdles to overcome before that but everyday passing is a win. Xx
How is everyone's symptoms if any?
I really struggle with sleeping... Keeps on waking up and sleeping every night like 4/5 hours... Before this I could do 7/8. I also have some light heart palpitations but suspect this maybe thanks to covid leftovers. 🤔. This would be our first if goes through. X

Frozendaquiri · 26/03/2023 18:39

@HayleyD93 absolutely a good idea to do what's right for you, I hope this one works out for you x

@Lottie3665 glad to know it's not just me who can't stop testing! That's interesting, I think I'll call tomorrow and see what it's like in my area x

@Aprilsunnyday congrats! Only symptom for me so far is very sore boobs x

s14a · 26/03/2023 18:54

@Lottie3665 and @Aprilsunnyday congratulations!

So lovely we have a few of us already!
When we all get our official due dates I'll do a little timeline.

This will be my third little one all going well but I have had 2 miscarriages whilst trying to conceive this one. So fingers crossed.

Glad to see there are balls rolling with booking appointments ect. I'll get mine sorted once I'm passed my first scan (likely to be around 12th April)

Congratulations all!

I got my BFP last Wednesday (22/3), I’m 5 weeks 3 days estimating my due date to be around 22/11 but think it will likely move back to early December.

I’m very thankful to have found this group as my anxiety is very high at the minute. Im experiencing a few symptoms though so am trying to be hopeful.

kispanda · 26/03/2023 20:14

Dear girls, since you are
freshly pregnant, would you please help me with your opinion. I have cyclus 28 days sharp, yesterday was day 28, i made a
test early clearblue, and it came positive. I have mild symptomes.
however, i am scared the line is not strong enough.

if you would help me with your experience,

thank
you much!

Due December 2023
TTCJJB · 26/03/2023 20:52

Can I join too?
I'm 4w6d so technically due 28th November, but I imagine I'm as likely to have a December baby as I am a November baby.

Lily1990 · 26/03/2023 21:01

Hi all! Many congratulations to you on your BFPs! I got mine on Friday at 9DPO, so still very early days. I had 3 losses over the last year (one MMC at 12 weeks and 2 chemicals) so we are feeling anxious and trying not to get too excited. It’s sad how different this time is to our first in terms of our emotions and planning! But it’s comforting to know there are others on this thread going through the same thing. I hope this is it for all of us. 🙏❤

Lily1990 · 26/03/2023 21:03

@kispanda that looks positive to me! Try not to worry and do a test in 2 days, hopefully it will be darker x

s14a · 26/03/2023 21:33

Congratulations to everyone with bfps!
Glad to see there is so many of us

OP posts:
kispanda · 27/03/2023 05:54

Hi, would you tell me were your test lines very dark on the 4 week test? I am scared mine is too light..

thank you!

kispanda · 27/03/2023 05:56

@Lily1990 thank you for your answer!

sure this is all nerve wracking.I also had 3 miscarriages…

s14a · 27/03/2023 06:20

Morning @kispanda

Your line looks great.
Most tests aren't dye stealer until 5-6 weeks and yours is clear. The way I have reassurance is by testing I'm another 48 hours and comparing but really it doesn't tell you anything other than that you're pregnant.

You could try one of the digital tests with dates if you think that would help

OP posts:
Aprilsunnyday · 27/03/2023 06:49

Yes I do agree with @s14a, you can also try frer and see how the line is like, they are usually super sensitive and can give some peace of mind.
Having a blood test is another way to see for concrete number but I think nhs doctors don't tend to do as they think the pregnancy stick is very accurate, which is true.

kispanda · 27/03/2023 07:33

@Aprilsunnyday @s14a dear girls thank you so much for your help. I realised
by googling that there is possibility that
clearblue give a bit fainter lines than the other tests.
i am just scared to do beta yet since i had 3 losses before.
But will go to my gin at friday and will let you know!

thank you so much dear girls:)

Aprilsunnyday · 27/03/2023 07:37

@kispanda sorry for your previous losses, sounds very tough! Hope you have some clarity soon on this one and best of luck!! Its looking positive 🍀🍀
