I haven't seen one of these yet for December so thought I'd start one!

I'm due 1st December with hopefully a little rainbow.
I'm on cyclogest because I had 2 losses in the latter end of last year (October and december) at 6 weeks and 10 weeks.

Fingers crossed for lots of December babies!

autumn94xxxx · 27/03/2023 09:09

Hi everyone, congrats to you all!🎉

Im 28 and pregnant with my 4th - very nervous as my children are still young and this wasn’t planned.

I think I’m 4 weeks 1day and due 3rd December.

Hope all goes well for everyone xx

PeachK · 27/03/2023 09:38

Hello! I got my first ever BFP at 10 dpo yesterday on a FRER, and this morning I got a very faint line on a cheapo strip test. The NHS calculator has given me 8 December as my due date and 3 weeks 4 days pregnant.

I'm completely over the moon but really nervous that something might go wrong.

Has anyone else had any symptoms yet? I was pretty sure my test would be positive because my boobs have been sore and I've been peeing loads. In the last 24 hours I've also started to feel quite nauseous and lots of gurgling/burping!

Congratulations to you all and I'm crossing my fingers that everything goes well for everyone ❤

ObsidianDeck · 27/03/2023 10:07

Hi all!

I am due on 4th December according to the online calculator (so exactly 4 weeks today). This is my second child (first will turn 4 this December).

I am eagerly waiting for symptoms - I had really bad food aversions with my first (I lived on crackers and ice-cream mostly), so I wonder what this pregnancy will bring! I have some bloating and tender breasts right now, but could also be from pessaries and estradiol pills that I am on now. Other than that no other symptoms.

Is anyone planning on doing early pregnancy scans before the NHS scan at 12 weeks? I know I will do Panorama test at 10 weeks which includes the scan, but I wonder if it is worth doing one at 6-7 weeks just to make sure everything is going well.

kispanda · 27/03/2023 10:45

@ObsidianDeck @PeachK i should be 4w2d today, slight painful boobies and frequent pee. A bit strange taste in mouth, cant really sleep, teeth bleeding whilst washing.

if you go to page 1, you can see my test from 4w, for which i am concirned it is not strong enough. You are Welcome to tell me how did your look like:)

KIWI2023 · 27/03/2023 11:00

Morning all & congratulations on your BFP's.

I am 4+6 today and due December 1st if all goes well. So far have had insomnia, vivid dreams & a strong sense of smell since before I found out, cramping on and off and over the last two days I'm starting to feel nauseous and my boobs are sore😂

I have an early scan booked for 8th April so fingers crossed🤍

PeachK · 27/03/2023 11:44

@kispanda My FRER test I took yesterdy looks really similar to yours. I did a strip test the same day and nothing showed up.
But I got a very faint line on a strip test this morning (sorry for the blurry pic!)

I think I'll take another in a few days to see if the lines have got darker. I'm trying not to obsess over it but it's hard! This is my first BFP so I don't really know what normal is!

@ObsidianDeck I was thinking about an early scan, waiting until 12 weeks will be agonising! I haven't heard of the panorama test before. Did you do it with your first? Was it worth it?

Due December 2023
kispanda · 27/03/2023 12:12

@PeachK thank you so much!

i can tell you that all od mine looked similar like this one which I posted.
so hopwfully everything will be fine for all of us:)

TMI2000 · 27/03/2023 12:31

Hi All!
Hope everyone is well! I got my BFP a couple weeks ago however I conceived right after a mc at 8 weeks and have not had AF in between so no clue how far along I am, it will either be an November or December baby but I am feeling pretty good! I have a scan tomorrow so they should be able to clarify how far along I am then!
Nausea, Sore Boobs, Tiredness and being extra gassy has been my symptoms so far.

Aprilsunnyday · 27/03/2023 14:29

@KIWI2023 it seems you are exactly one week ahead of me (I am 3 weeks 6 days, also to correct an early post!)
My scan is booked for April 13th, also only 5 days behind :)

Congratulations, and I think you ve got all the symptoms, can I ask around what time did the symptoms show up/increase?

Aprilsunnyday · 27/03/2023 14:37

@KKIWI2023 actually pls ignore my questions, you have dated your symptoms, I wasn't reading properly!! 😂

Today I am really annoyed, I started working from 6am till lunch and missed the scheduled blood test, and there is no way to reschedule this week. I m kicking myself for it...
But maybe in reality a blood test isn't really needed, so I can go without one.

Already so forgetful. 😭 What other incompetency will show up soon? 😱😂🤔

KIWI2023 · 27/03/2023 14:42

Hi @Aprilsunnyday congratulations!!

So I had cramping & increased sense of smell & odd dreams/insomnia from around 9DPO. 4+1 I definitely noticed I was much more emotional and a little more tired in the evenings and then from 4+4 onwards the above have all stuck around but now my boobs are sore and I'm feeling nauseous too. The cramping has been since 5DPO and is like light period cramps almost? It's okay just abit uncomfortable sometimes.

How are you feeling? X

Aprilsunnyday · 27/03/2023 14:52

@KIWI2023 thanks for the very fast and detailed response. 😊
Your symptoms sound really in line with what I read and seems maybe also perfectly one week ahead. 😉
I startes having some cramps from two days ago, it's not inbearable and doesn't last too long but can be felt quite clearly just below the belly button. I take relief in knowing this is not uncommon.

I feel for me to feel very excited about the pregnancy would have to be after the initial scan and then finding out no abnormality, from now on each day without miscarrying would be a small win 😊. X

Frozendaquiri · 27/03/2023 15:26

I called my GP today and had to go in and fill out a form, the midwife will call me to make an appointment (although I didn't ask when).

I didn't sleep well last night which is odd for me, I'm also having quite bad lower back pain. Other than that just sore boobs up to now. Hoping that's normal!

KIWI2023 · 27/03/2023 15:32

@Aprilsunnyday yeah that's where my cramps are too. Fingers crossed for you my lovely!

I feel you, it's so nerve wracking DH is so so excited and wants to jump right in to talking about names and nursery etc but I'm scared to let myself feel like that until I know. At the moment I don't even feel pregnant, just unwell haha so maybe it will all be better after the viability scan.

I called my GP last week as I was on some medications for two chronic conditions so needed to know what to do about those. They told me to register with midwife so I called them and then had a text with an appointment for 25th April when I should be around 9 weeks so fingers crossed all is okay x

kispanda · 27/03/2023 15:47

I am today 4 + 2 and started with cramps in lower abdomen, and boobies are feelable😊

Pbubz · 27/03/2023 16:28

Can I tentatively join, I got a really strong bfp at 11dpo today, so would be due early December. I started testing early because I had none of my usual pms symptoms, and today I've had a massive migraine and nausea and feel totally all over the place.

Surely it's too early to be getting this emotional and sicky?

And congratulations to you all xx

Landsmen · 27/03/2023 16:28

Hi also joining. Got my BFP on Friday but that was day 38 of my cycle I tested negative on day 30 and 31. No real symptoms yet aside from sore back and boobs and feel a tiny bit nauseous. More sensitive to smells but not bothering me yet.

HasBean7 · 27/03/2023 16:29

Hi all, got my BFP over the weekend and I'm 4 weeks today with our second. It took 2.5 years to conceive DD1 and this one took us by surprise after only a couple of months. There'll only be 18 months between DD1 and DC2. eek! Absolutely loving being pregnant again though, it's such an exciting time :)

Aprilsunnyday · 27/03/2023 17:49

@PbPbubz @LanLandsmen @HaHasBean7 Welcome to the group and congratulations!! (tentative at least 😊)

Some are embracing this journey more than others. I do agree it's very exciting although many unknowns along the road. Not doubt a very interesting time ahead for everyone on the group. X

s14a · 27/03/2023 18:41

I'm just catching up on all the BFPs.
Congratulations everyone!

The early pregnancy unit called today to say my first scan would be on 12th April so only 15 days to wait!

My biggest symptom is sore boobs (doesn't help I'm still breastfeeding!) And the tiredness. I'm absolutely spent after being at work.
I'm on annual leave for the next few days so fingers crossed I get to sleep it off.

Hi everyone... My test lines have now progressed and I got a dye stealer today at 15dpo so feeling much more positive. My due date according to the NHS website will be 3rd December. This will be my second and I had terrible nausea from 6.5 to 16 weeks with my first and crossing my fingers it doesn't happen again! I'm also going to book at Nipt test for 10 weeks and wondering whether to have an earlier scan as well...

Aprilsunnyday · 27/03/2023 22:29

Hi @Oldermum84, I am glad you are feeling more positive about the pregnancy, it is good you got pregnant again very quickly after the miscarriage - it does seem miscarrying increase the chance of pregnancy within 3 months and you are feeling more confident.

Regarding Nipt test, I am very keen to get that booked soon as well. I have little idea what to expect around nausea yet as this would be our first one - In a way i want it and in a way not. 😅I had a miscarriage in Jan 2022, so want to be extra careful with this early pregnancy.

Aprilsunnyday · 27/03/2023 22:29

@Oldermum84 *It is great you are feeling more confident. x

@Oldermum84 which test were you using for a dye stealer? I've only been using the one step tests but not got one yet. I might go out and get a frer today. I'm 4+4 according to dates.

My boobs are the main symptom but probably because of the progesterone but this morning I heaved when my husband rolled over and said good morning 😅
