I haven't seen one of these yet for December so thought I'd start one!

I'm due 1st December with hopefully a little rainbow.
I'm on cyclogest because I had 2 losses in the latter end of last year (October and december) at 6 weeks and 10 weeks.

Fingers crossed for lots of December babies!

I almost threw up when I went for a wee af 5, I've already got medication from the doctor as my last 2 pregnancy have been very sicky. I really don't know how far along I am, I'm anywhere between 4+4 and 5+4

Frozendaquiri · 28/03/2023 09:48

Morning everyone, what's a dye stealer please?

Morning everyone, what's a dye stealer please?

A dye stealer is when the line for 'pregnancy' is darker than the control line.

Morning all,

Hi @Frozendaquiri a dye stealer is where the test line on a pregnancy test turns darker than the control line on there x

KIWI2023 · 28/03/2023 10:14

How is everyone feeling today?

5weeks/ 5+1 today🤍 I don't have major nausea or vomiting yet (counting my lucky stars) but definitely feeling it a tad in my throat and have food aversions to everything. Like the thought of putting food in my mouth and eating it is horrific 😂 I'm such a foodie usually so this is the oddest thing ever!

Frozendaquiri · 28/03/2023 10:42

Thank you @KIWI2023 I'm definitely not at that stage yet but this morning's test is significantly darker!

KIWI2023 · 28/03/2023 10:59

My internet cheapies aren't at that stage either and I am 19DPO today but I did get one on a FRER on 16DPO X

Hello everyone! First time using this forum so hope I've posted right.

I've just found out I'm pregnant! A wonderful little suprise 🥰 This will be my third baby, my older children will be 9 & 7 when this little one is born - According to NHS app baby is due early December! Symptoms are exhaustion (I have been feeling unbelievably tired the last week), slightly tender boobs and a bit of cramping.

Hope you're all feeling ok and excited! Anybody else having their 3rd baby too?

Congratulations! Did you have this with your previous pregnancies too? Mine lasted until roughly 13 weeks then started feeling more energetic 😴 Could literally sleep for a week!!

kispanda · 28/03/2023 13:16

Talking of symptoms, I wanted to ask you all do they come and go?

i am 4+3 today. Yesterday I had cramps, peeing, very strong boobies pain…

today everything is less…

so how is with you? Do you feel all of them constantly this early?

Lottie3665 · 28/03/2023 13:25

My symptoms still seem very mild, I have sore boobs every day but everything else comes and goes. And I can't really be sure if I'm feeling tired or sick due to pregnancy or just something I ate or having lots on at work. I've read in a few other places that week 6 is when symptoms start getting quite intense (I'm 4+4) so just trying to enjoy feeling good for the last little while!

kispanda · 28/03/2023 13:28

So i guess then nothing to worry about.
thank you!

the only thing in which i guess i am different than most is i am never more tired than usually…

but this time particularly my boobies hurt…

Milkand2sugarsplease · 28/03/2023 13:41

I always love the December board popping up!!

My little ivf miracle was December 2012 so he'll be 11 this time when all your little critters arrive!!

Good luck, enjoy your journey, whether it's your first or fourth!!

Fingers crossed for sticky beans for you all x

fruitandfibreg · 28/03/2023 13:45

@Milkand2sugarsplease I'm so glad I'm not the only lurker who isn't due in dec 😂 but I was in a dec group with my first and we still all speak now and our babies are 16 months. Made some lovely friends from mumsnet!

Congratulations all💜

Milkand2sugarsplease · 28/03/2023 13:48

@fruitandfibreg I am most definitely not due in December 😂

My December board has a Facebook group now and we still post our milestones on there which is lovely. We've seen them through babies, toddlers, infants, siblings, tragedy - everything but it's lovely to have that little connection to my journey to having him.

Aprilsunnyday · 27/03/2023 22:29

Hi @Oldermum84, I am glad you are feeling more positive about the pregnancy, it is good you got pregnant again very quickly after the miscarriage - it does seem miscarrying increase the chance of pregnancy within 3 months and you are feeling more confident.

Regarding Nipt test, I am very keen to get that booked soon as well. I have little idea what to expect around nausea yet as this would be our first one - In a way i want it and in a way not. 😅I had a miscarriage in Jan 2022, so want to be extra careful with this early pregnancy.

Thank you x

Oldermum84 · 28/03/2023 13:54

s14a · 28/03/2023 06:49

@Oldermum84 which test were you using for a dye stealer? I've only been using the one step tests but not got one yet. I might go out and get a frer today. I'm 4+4 according to dates.

My boobs are the main symptom but probably because of the progesterone but this morning I heaved when my husband rolled over and said good morning 😅

It was a frer!

HannahLouD · 28/03/2023 13:58

Hi all, I hope you don't mind me joining? 😊
Only 10dpo but got my bfp today... Had a chemical last month so not getting my hopes up as it's suchhh early days and I know anything can happen.
Praying for a sticky one this time 🤞🙏
Congrats to all!! 😊

autumn94xxxx · 28/03/2023 14:13

@kispanda I’m not feeling anything this time round!

With my 3 previous pregnancies my main symptom was just feel extremely sick of food and barely eating for the first 1-2months.

Might be too early i’m only 4weeks and 2 days but hoping it doesn’t get like that again!

How has it gone for you all announcing it to the family? I’m very hesitant this time 🤐

autumn94xxxx · 28/03/2023 14:13

@HannahLouD congratulations and wish you all the best this time round! x

Lottie3665 · 28/03/2023 14:26

@autumn94xxxx why are you feeling hesitant?
I'm seeing my closest family when I'm 6 weeks so I think I might tell them then as it's my first and I'm excited. Everyone else I'm going to wait and see how bad my symptoms are. I'm considering having an early scan at 8/9 weeks and I might tell work after that as I'm a teacher and we spend May planning the next year.
Is anyone else thinking of telling people soon or are you being more patient?

s14a · 28/03/2023 14:51

@autumn94xxxx I'm super hesitant this time too.
We announced our last one at 6 weeks and then miscarried at 10 so I'm going to just wait a bit longer. My aim is until 16 weeks but it's my third and my mum's a midwife so the chances of that happening are slim to none.
I've already told work because I work in quite a risky environment and I felt they were really supportive when I had my last miscarriage.

@Lottie3665 well because this is my 4th, my boys are pretty young (youngest being 17 months) and although all my previous pregnancies are fine I have complications during labour with retained placenta so i’m sure they're going to have a go at me this time due to that! Although they would also love for me to have a girl but just cant bare telling them at the minute haha.

With my first I let everyone know immediately out of excitement!

Sounds like a good plan you have x
