I haven't seen one of these yet for December so thought I'd start one!

I'm due 1st December with hopefully a little rainbow.
I'm on cyclogest because I had 2 losses in the latter end of last year (October and december) at 6 weeks and 10 weeks.

Fingers crossed for lots of December babies!

@s14a I'm 4+6 today too and I'm the same, I've got a little collections of lines getting gradually darker! I think as long as you're not spending a fortune on the expensive ones it's fine. And until we get scans and past the first trimester I feel like it's all we've got to reassure ourselves. I've been doing one every other day, and then once I'm at week 5 I'm going to try and just do 1 a week to keep am eye on things.

Sending you all lots of love, hope you have a good day.

Hi @EmW102 welcome

I need to stop peeing on sticks. I have done a test every day since I found out and they are all clearly getting 'more positive' which means absolutely nothing. I don't have a dye stealer yet but I'm 4+6 and know they take forever.

I'm using the one step Internet cheapies. I haven't bothered doing a frer or a digital because I know they will be positive too and I have nothing for comparison.

I'm wondering about getting a frer for a dye stealer but again... what would be the point and would it really stop me peeing on a stick!

I don't want a digital with dates either because it caused me so much anxiety with my mmc. It didn't switch from 2-3 until 3+ until I was 5+4 rather than 5 exactly so I convinced myself it was ending, it didn't, saw a heart beat, got excited then at the next scan there was no fh so at that point there was absolutely no point in worrying.

I'm finding pregnancy after loss really difficult.

I'm the same! Finished all my frers now but I have a digital with weeks indicator left and feel like it'll be a waste of I don't use it but if I take it after Saturday and it doesn't say 3+ (will be 5 weeks then) then I'll worry. Wish I didn't have it but it's left over from my early miscarriage last month.

Oldermum84 · 30/03/2023 12:04

I'm 4+5 today and feeling achy, like a period type ache. Anyone else?

s14a · 30/03/2023 12:51

Thank you for all the reassurance. At least its not just me doing it but sad we are all in the same boat.

Not long after I posted I went to check on my test (because now its positive I tend to do it and leave it for a bit before checking) and the lines are pretty similar so I'm feeling reassured in that!

I'm just so hungry all the time!

Hi everyone and congratulations!

I got a positive test last week so am about 4+1 with a due date of 6/12/23. I have a 17 month old and we always knew we wanted another but a bit of a shock because we weren't actively trying this month. A very very happy shock though so now just praying it sticks! I can't quite bring myself to do the midwife self referral yet because it just doesn't feel real!

PeachK · 30/03/2023 13:22

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well Flowers

I'm now 4 weeks exactly today. I've also been testing every day since I got my first BFP, I've found it reassuring to see the lines gradually get a bit darker but I think I'm going to try and reduce my testing to once or twice a week so I don't drive myself round the bend comparing all the lines. Whatever will be will be!

DH and I can't decide on when we should start telling immediate family. I'm seeing my family on Easter sunday when I will (hopefully!) be 5+3, but I'm not sure if it is too early! It will also be my parent's first grandchild so not sure how that will go down, I'm 31 and have been with my DH for 11 years so while do I feel like I'll be in trouble haha?!

AllieDang · 30/03/2023 15:20

Hello everyone,

I’m in a bit of shock, DH have been TTC for over a year and we received a MFI diagnosis two months ago. I was preparing for IVF this July, but after deciding to give TTC a rest for a month.

AF was due Monday 27th, I noticed I had implantation bleeding on Fri 24th and couldn’t resist an early test. Pregnant! Doctor confirmed, early days but due approx 3rd December.

So far so good, but ouch the lower right side of my abdomen is quite uncomfortable, I’m ravenous, have a mega thirst, and my left breast is tender.

Anyone else feeling the early symptoms? And the nerves? Keep expecting to see AF every time I go to the loo (which is often) but I guess extra discharge is another surprising part of early pregnancy!

Hi everyone, congrats to you all!🎉

Im 28 and pregnant with my 4th - very nervous as my children are still young and this wasn’t planned.

I think I’m 4 weeks 1day and due 3rd December.

Hope all goes well for everyone xx

@autumn94xxxx We’re due date twins!!!! Congratulations!! How are you feeling?

A huge congratulations 🎉 to everyone

Lottie3665 · 30/03/2023 15:28

Congratulations @AllieDang @PeachK @s01h 🥳 very happy for you all, welcome to the gang.

CherryGiraffe · 30/03/2023 16:00

Hi everyone! Can I join?

I tested positive at 11dpo on Tuesday so it’s still very early days (think I’m 3+6), and have an estimated due date of 9th December.

This was our 4th month trying for our first, straight off the pill. I’ve spent the last 4 months freaking out my body isn’t adjusting properly after being on the pill for so long, and now I have the positive test the worry has changed to losing it. Really finding it so hard to relax 😅

How exciting! congratulations :)

Getting a bit more used to the idea now, especially that I received a text message yesterday for my first appointment on 24th, so seeming a lot more real!
Have you registered your pregnancy yet?

Not having any symptoms apart from boobs feeling heavier😶 How are you feeling?

@autumn94xxxx I got a call for my first midwife appointment today too! 25th April and they said it would take around an hour

autumn94xxxx · 30/03/2023 20:44

@Frozendaquiri same! said its going to be an hour long to check bloods, medical history etc. I gave birth at this hospital with my youngest and had a great experience with the doctors and midwives, fingers crossed its the same this time!

Babydo22 · 30/03/2023 21:38

Hi everyone 🙂 Can I join too?

My AF is due tomorrow and I had a faint positive today (8dpo) so im probably close to 4 weeks. Hoping to have a darker line tomorrow but I know it's still very early.

Last night I had a strange taste in my mouth which didn't start until week 7 with my first so already convinced the nausea and sickness will be worse this time.

We currently have a 7 month old so I'm holding off telling my OH until he is less tired and in a better mood at the weekend 😂

Congratulations to you all 🎉

Just catching up on the feeds here now as work has been plenty. I am in really similar boats with you OP and I know exactly how you feel. I ve been testing everyday, at the start multiple sticks per day... 🙄
I know it's getting darker and probably no point to further verify until the scan, and that's why we are testing like this, after mmc. (for me it's Jan 2022)

We should be good until we are told not so... When is your scan booked?
(sorry if I ve missed it?) mine is on April 13th, will need to get manager approval on day off first..."medical leave", feeling a bit strange about asking.

Aprilsunnyday · 31/03/2023 12:08

Congrats to those who recently tested positive. 😊💐 Growing to bigger group now.

Aprilsunnyday · 31/03/2023 12:09

@HannahLouD Hi lovely, how did it go after that? I keep hoping it's good news. Xx

HannahLouD · 31/03/2023 12:51

@Aprilsunnyday unnyday thanks for checking in... Not super hopeful, but also very, very confused!
I went a bit mad with the testing...
These are - 10dpo smu, 11dpo sum, 12dpo fmu, 12dpo smu and then the last two are today (13dpo smu) using exactly the same wee from a cup... I really have no idea what's going on. I feel like the tests are not a good indicator of line progression... Wish I had have just spent some more money and got some frers!
My easy at home might be progressing a tiny bit? (But they did with my chemical too last month)
I don't know what to think... I don't think it's going to end well, but I really have no idea. So confusing and frustrating!
I got 1-2 weeks on a CB digital yesterday... I don't have any tests left and I don't want to get any more because it's really messing with my head :( x

Aprilsunnyday · 31/03/2023 12:55

@HannahLouD

They look like they are progressing so well lovely!! It is only confusing because you are sooo invested on testing and feeling uncertain. 😊They look like perfect textbook results on hcg progression to me (and similar with mine) ...so congratulations, and relax!!, 💐😎

s14a · 31/03/2023 13:18

@Aprilsunnyday my scan is on the 11th April. I'll be 6+4.
I've known for 10 days, 11 days until my scan. Nearly half way!

I've told my manager because even if it doesn't go well I'll definitely need some time off. I haven't coped well after the previous two m/cs especially with what I do for work so she knows.

I'd also rather tell people than for them to be 'suspicious' and make a rumour.

OP posts:
Aprilsunnyday · 31/03/2023 14:40

@s14a thats true!! You are half way there, 💐
However I find waiting very hard too.
Especially when I don't have a lot of symptoms...

I couldn't tell my work people, I think maybe best when I could confirm this is a viable pregnancy, but I ll also tell them if I miss-carry, (for the same reasons you rightfully mentioned.) both scenarios they would know but at a later timing.

I still have sleep issue but nothing otherwise.

Frozendaquiri · 31/03/2023 15:08

A bit nervous as I didn't know line progression was a thing until recently. Does this look good enough? The second line is still considerably lighter. (Managed to have a day off from testing yesterday) They're only 99p tests as after spending £30 on CB last week I decided I didn't need any more expensive ones, although I have one digital left I might use tomorrow x

Due December 2023
KIWI2023 · 31/03/2023 15:12

@Frozendaquiri they look great. Line progression isn't an exact science and so many things create variation in concentration of HCG in urine x
