Hi all, hope you are all well🥰

I have just found out that I am pregnant again after a loss in December at 5+2 (very early!). I’m only 4 weeks going by last period so it really is so early again. I am so happy but also know i’m going to struggle with the waiting. I know I just have to play the waiting game and hope for the best. Anyone been in similar position with positive outcome? Really hope this is our time🤞🌈

Hi, yes I am also very early pregnant after a miscarriage. I last conceived almost exactly a year ago and I've been struggling since, was eventually found to have a uterine adhesion and have managed to conceive the first month after surgery to fix it. I'm happy/relieved but also so anxious. How are you feeling?

Hi!

Firstly so sorry for your loss and also congratulations on your new pregnancy.

I haven't been in a similar before until now, I also lost a pregnancy at almost 11 weeks in January, ended up having a D&C, doctors told me to take a test 2 weeks later which I did and they were both negative. Fast forward 3 weeks, I've taken 3 pregnancy tests and they're all positives. I've been for a blood test today to check my hcg levels, got to go back on Monday to see if they have risen.

Wish I had a really nice story to tell you, to try and give you some hope but it will be nice to speak to someone going through the same as I am.

I have everything crossed for both of us that we get our rainbow babies 🌈💖

@Cegbee thanks for replying and sorry to hear about your experience too. Congratulations with your pregnancy, you must be over the moon the surgery worked but equally anxious. I can completely relate. I’ve been taking Clomid to support ovulation and was so devastated the pregnancy didn’t continue at the end of last year. Other than tired I’m ok, anxious and wanting to test with every pee 🫣 how are you doing?

oh @Charliexo your experience would have been so difficult for you, I’m so sorry. It sounds like yours could be a new pregnancy, how are you feeling? Really hope your HCG has risen on Monday. I’ll keep everything crossed for you. My first milestone will be getting past 5w+2 as that’s when I started to bleed last time. Only 9 days to go to see if I exceed that point, really hope so 🤞🌈

Sorry for your loss, positive stories got me through too☺️ I had a missed miscarriage in July last year, I’m 17 weeks now! It was really hard throughout the first trimester and I’m still anxious now but I have found it’s gotten easier!

So sorry to hear you had to go through this. No matter how early, pregnancy loss is always awful.
I had a MMC at 13 weeks last year. Got pregnant again straight after and my anxiety was through the roof. I also had a subchorionic hematoma, which led to lots of bleeding so that didn't help my anxiety levels. I'm now 25 weeks and it's finally starting to feel real. I'm still anxious though. Miscarriage just ruins pregnancy to some extent. It just makes you hyper aware of anything that could go wrong. But be assured that the statistics are on your side. Wishing you all the best!

@TTCX
Thank you so much for your well wishes, yeah it's looking like a new pregnancy hopefully. My hcg levels at the moment are 378, the first clear blue test I took said 1-2 weeks and I've taken another since and it says 2-3 weeks. With my hcg levels being that high, if it relates to the previous miscarriage, surely the 2 tests I took after the surgery would have picked up on that.

I've got my fingers crossed anyway, hopefully we get some good news Monday 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I'm feeling ok thank you, just feel sicky and tired. How about you?xx

Thanks @ChloeN, congratulations on your pregnancy and sorry to hear about your earlier loss. hope you’re keeping well I’m sure you’ll start to be feeling uncomfortable now at 17 weeks. All the best for the rest of your pregnancy ❤️

Awww thank you for your reply @UnicornRainbowSky. How awful that must have been for you, really pleased you fell pregnant again. 25 weeks, wow! Enjoy it as much as you can, it’s not easy to fully let yourself relax is it.

oh @Charliexo you are absolutely pregnant again, your HCG wouldn’t be rising if you weren’t so that is so good you’ve gotten 2-3 weeks on your test. Be kind to yourself and let yourself try to enjoy this moment, easier said than done I know! I’m just pretty knackered but early days. I had very few symptoms my first pregnancy so wondering how this one will go! Good luck on Monday xx

I’m so sorry for your miscarriage but hopefully my story can help. I had 2 very early miscarriages at 5 weeks but am now 14 weeks. I’ve had a scare but was checked and everything was fine. The EPU will take any worries you have in pregnancy seriously if you’ve had previous miscarriages I found. Mine did anyway and told me to call to be checked and scanned any time I’m worried and not to think I’m wasting time.

@ChloeN
Thank you so much 🤗

I have no idea, it's hard to work out because I've got pregnant before my first period since our miscarriage. I had my D&C mid January, but I have no idea when the cycle restarts after it. Hopefully all is well with the scan on Saturday and they can give me an idea x

oh @Charliexo this is the best news, you must be so so relieved and over the moon! Let us know how you get on with your scan. ❤️

I has a tiny pin prick of pink blood this morning (nothing since) and obviously I’m on high alert. Trying to put a positive spin that it’ll just be a bit of pink blood from implantation which is a good sign of a sticky bean I hope 🤞. Stronger positives today as well so that reassures me. When does the worry stop 🤦🏻‍♀️

@ChloeN
Thank you so much! And aww that would be so lovely! I will update on here xxx

@TTCX I was so happy when I got the call today, its one barrier down. It's just the weight of the fact, it was at our 6 week scan in December that we found out things wasn't right that is holding me back from getting excited and enjoying this journey like l should.
I'll feel like an enormous weight has been lifted off my shoulders if all is well on Saturday, I'll defo cry lots of happy tears 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Definitely keep positive, I had very light bleeding in early pregnancy with my daughter, and everything went absolutely fine. I know quite a lot of family/friends who have experienced the same as well in early pregnancy. Sending you lots of hugs 🤗❤️

I really hope we all have positive outcomes and get our rainbow babies 💖💙🌈

Oh @Charliexo you will of course be anxious. It’ll bring up a lot of stuff for you I’m sure. I’ll be thinking of you, and don’t be hard on yourself as it’s natural to worry. We can’t enjoy every minute or second of this. It’s a scary time! I’m very anxiously waiting until I get past 5w and 2days as that was when I miscarried last time. Hopefully get past that mark and then take it from there 🤞Good luck ❤️

@TTCX oh that’s good news def sounds like a bit of implantation bleeding! I had an early anomaly scan at the weekend, everything looked perfect which was such a relief because I didn’t get the screening for edwards and patuas! Baby was measuring a few days ahead and I’ve been feeling movement so I’m just feeling so reassured. Still can’t believe it!xx

I hope everyone is doing well! Congrats on the scan @ChloeN.

I have my first bhcg blood test tomorrow morning at the fertility clinic and even though my tests are strong positives I'm so nervous! I will be 17DPO. I don't even know what number i should be hoping for, I been googling like mad and it's just making me feel worse! No idea how I'm going to get through the next few days let alone weeks!

@Cegbee I hope all goes well today.

I understand how nerve wracking it is, I drove myself mad googling. That didn't really help because the range for the hcg levels are huge, I didn't understand what was considered a 'low' level.
From what I did read online is that your first one just gives a base level to compare your second reading to, even if the numbers seem low, as long as it's rising on your second reading, it's a good sign.
Ask the nurse all the questions you want to ask when you go today.

I'll keep everything crossed for you xx

Thank you @Charliexo, it feels good to have people that understand the anxiety to chat to, I don't think people that haven't been through this can really understand. & My husband is so laid back he never thinks anything bad will happen!

I had a MMC in September last year at 7w. I'm now 15 weeks with twins! I'm so so excited and happy but also really nervous given what happened last time. So nervous that I still haven't actually told anyone except my parents, IL and DH. But everything is looking positive. It's just one of those things, but big hugs to you! We will all get through it!
