Hi all, hope you are all well🥰

I have just found out that I am pregnant again after a loss in December at 5+2 (very early!). I’m only 4 weeks going by last period so it really is so early again. I am so happy but also know i’m going to struggle with the waiting. I know I just have to play the waiting game and hope for the best. Anyone been in similar position with positive outcome? Really hope this is our time🤞🌈

y’all are giving me anxiety cause my boobs aren’t as sore or sensitive now! 🫣🫣😂😂😂 coming into 12 weeks so hopefully it’s just cause hormones are levelling 🫣

@s14a sorry you're so anxious, I'm your sister in this regard.

The symptoms you describe right now are bang on exactly right for your date, tiredness, nausea, gas you have symptoms and they don't have to be constant or extreme.

When I had the MMC it was only after I realised that for the previous 2 weeks I hadn't had symtoms, I was carefree and confident and so naive.

I'm 10w+4 now and just had a great scan today, this is my 5th scan, yes 5th. I've had symptoms but convinced myself they afford strong enough, I got nausea for just over a week and it went away last week so I was tortured with anxiety.

My advice would be this, every day I felt my boobs, I really mean my nips haha if I had a sensation at all, even mild I counted that as a good sign, my boobs went completely dead with the MMC so any feeling is good. Not saying first you to do this exactly, but fine something that you can do every day that contents you.

I would go ahead now and register with midwife, just grit your teeth, do it and forget about it.

Be thankful every day that you're still pregnant and now you're 8 weeks maybe ring epu and ask for an early scan, they may give you one.

Saying don't be anxious is silly, you're going to be anxious but try and rationalise every day, this is a new pregnancy, new outcome and the chances of a successful pregnancy are higher than an unsuccessful

Get that midwife booked, just get it done and see how you feel after x let us know how you get on x

I had an early scan with Epau already at 6 weeks because I'm on progesterone.
They saw a heartbeat at the time so I guess that's reassuring.

I need to fast forward to another scan I think. I have real anxiety about scans so I want to try and avoid them if I can.

TMI2000 · 22/04/2023 11:03

@TTCX2 oh no! I wouldn’t worry as some daysy boobs are really sore and others I really have to feel to get a sensation! My midwife told me that your symptoms peak at 8 weeks too and calm down from there, I’m nearly 10 weeks so I wouldn’t worry!

38andtrying · 22/04/2023 11:51

@s14a scanxiety, I have the exact same, my husband nearly has it worse than me, I just had my 5th scan and I'm only just over 10 weeks, that's how anxious I am!

the scans don't get easier but the further on you get it'll naturally get better.

Take it all a step at a time, remember it's ok to feel like this, perfectly natural. Again reiterate, different pregnancy different outcome. Take one positive step forward at this stage and refer to the midwife, I guarantee that'll help to some degree x

38andtrying · 22/04/2023 11:53

@TTCX2 mine aren't sore or sensitive but when I touch my nips I can feel sensation, again not sore but there is feeling, I'm sure yours have feeling too when you give them a touch lol also it's not a science, some people don't even get the book symtom so please don't let us cranks on the Internet give you stress x

Hi there, I’m sure I recognise some of you from the other miscarriage group. Congratulations 😄.I had a scan when I should have been 6 weeks by my lmp but know I ovulated late and had and measured 5+2 had a sac and a shadow of a yolk. So getting scanned again when I am 7+2. I have progesterone which I started on Monday the same day as my scan and had a day of pink spotting, then a day of brown and now it’s a splodge of dark yellow so I’m just hoping it stays like that, I’m wondering if it could be the progesterone. I’m super grateful to have it I insert it rectally as I have an incompetent cervix so have to be careful with that but yikes it’s playing havoc with my stomach. But just trying to be grateful I have it and hoping so much this one sticks after a Mmc in December xxx

I had my scan yesterday and it was amazing 🥰❤️ baby looked great and was wriggling loads. They've brought my due date forward to the 8th of November meaning I'm 13+2 today. I've got an anterior placenta which I don't believe I've had before, anyone else had this or been told this pregnancy?

The anxiety I had leading up to the scan was horrendous, I said to the sonographer please just tell me there's a heartbeat and then you can show me the screen. I booed my eyes out, it was like a weight had been lifted and I've definitely fallen in love ❤️

ChloeN · 05/05/2023 17:02

@Sb86 congratulations on a fab scan! ☺️ I’ve got an anterior placenta, I still feel loads of movement!! I was really worried I’d feel hardly anything but I can see them wiggling in my belly all the time xxx

Sb86 · 05/05/2023 17:04

Awww that's good to know @ChloeN thankyou, I was worried about that too xx

allgoodthings84 · 05/05/2023 18:20

@Sb86 I’ve got an anterior placenta too and started feeling baby at around 18 weeks but very sporadically. Im 24 weeks now and feel her a lot more often. The difference is I didn’t feel any flutters or bubbles etc that a lot of people say they feel. I think the anterior placenta hid those earlier feelings and I just felt when it got to be actual kicks. Do you know if you’ve got a low, high or middle anterior placenta? If it’s high you will likely feel baby sooner down low but if it’s low or in the middle it will be once baby gets a bit bigger. Mine is in the middle right at the front so I mostly feel kicks low, sides or up higher now baby is bigger. I do occasionally feel something in the middle but it’s a different feeling

Sb86 · 05/05/2023 20:09

@allgoodthings84 oh I've no idea haha just heard her say the placenta looks anterior. But that's useful to know about the different placements of it 😊 did they always find heartbeat alright? X

ChloeN · 05/05/2023 20:12

@Sb86 it just feels another added thing to worry about doesn’t it!🤦🏻‍♀️ have you got any more scans before your 20 week?☺️

ChloeN · 05/05/2023 20:13

@allgoodthings84 we sound similar mines right in the middle near my belly button! I’d love to know how big the placenta at the minute because I feel kicks all over now

allgoodthings84 · 05/05/2023 21:27

@Sb86 apart from my scans no one checked for a heartbeat until I had my consultants appointment at 21 weeks. Our trust doesn’t check heartbeat at midwife appointments until 24/25 weeks. I had that appointment today and the muwife found baby’s heartbeat easily but the baby moved every time she got it 😂. I can’t feel everything still though as I didn’t feel baby move but could hear it on the Doppler. It makes a specific sound. At the 21 weeks consultants appointment she was still and they found the heartbeat easily.

@ChloeN I think you’re around 3-4 weeks ahead of me so your baby is definitely bigger than the placenta now I think but not massively bigger. I know by 26-27 weeks with my first I was feeling loads all over it was just never as harsh as my friends who had posterior placentas described their kicks. It was never painful for me. Sometimes uncomfortable and weird but never painful. My baby wasn’t very big though so that might have had something to do with it too.

TTCX2 · 05/05/2023 22:02

Awww congratulations @Sb86 🥰🥰🥰 I’m due the 9th November. 🫢 I had an anterior plancenta with my first and felt movement and could see her moving as well when she was bigger. I swear I can feel movement (only a few little movements) already but it’s probably in my mind 😂

Dsquirrel · 27/05/2023 09:10

Hi, I had a miscarriage on 20th April. I have found out this week that I am pregnant again! The clear blue test says 1-2 which I think means 3-4?? I’m just unsure how to date the pregnancy as I know you would normally go by the first day of your last period. I haven’t had a period just the miscarriage bleed. Can anyone advise? Thank you x

Charliexo · 27/05/2023 09:13

@Dsquirrel welcome! So sorry to hear about your miscarriage. This too happened to me, wasn't sure how many weeks I was. When I had my 12 weeks scan and given my due date, it meant my 40 weeks starts from 2 days after my D&C.
I hope you have a happy, healthy pregnancy this time xx

Dsquirrel · 27/05/2023 09:17

Thank you 🩷
