Hi all, hope you are all well🥰

I have just found out that I am pregnant again after a loss in December at 5+2 (very early!). I’m only 4 weeks going by last period so it really is so early again. I am so happy but also know i’m going to struggle with the waiting. I know I just have to play the waiting game and hope for the best. Anyone been in similar position with positive outcome? Really hope this is our time🤞🌈

I would try not to worry about it @TTCX2 I've just been looking up clearblue digitals as mine has come up 3+ this afternoon and it should only be 2-3. So many people saying that they aren't 100% reliable, yes they will tell if you're pregnant but it's also to do with how diluted your urine is at the time of the test and that's not bound to be the same as last week. Someone mentioned twins to me when I posted my test on a different thread...so long as I've a healthy pregnancy I'll be happy.

Still not feeling much in the way of symptoms, nipples still tender but not my boobs. Need a wee frequently but no nausea although I am early at 4+1 weeks and also apparently vitamin b6 can help with morning sickness and I've been taking the highest dose I can since trying to concieve this time round. Watch me get to next week and be feeling terrible, again I'm not bothered so long as I get my baby in my arms come November 🥰

TTCX2 · 10/03/2023 16:48

Thanks for getting back to me @Sb86. that’s amazing you’ve got your 3+, would be so reassuring to see your hormones increasing. Goodness, twins 🫣 glad you’re feeling ok. Do you have any scans coming up? I had very little to no symptoms with my pregnancy with my first little girl.

Im just glad it’s not going back the way, and had a really dark test with a wee cheapie in the same urine so I’m not spiralling (yet). 🫣🫣🫣

Also please excuse my horribly dry/damaged nails 😂 I’m a nervous nail picker haha…

Sb86 · 10/03/2023 16:58

@TTCX2 I highly doubt twins as no family history, I am 37 on Sunday but even still the chances are miniscule. I have a scan on the 23rd of March when I'm exactly 6 weeks according to 1st day of last af date. I can't wait for it to come but at the same time I'm bricking it.

You've got yourself a slight dye stealer there by the looks of it 👀👌🏼

I can't really remember my symptoms on a timeline with my first 3 children as it was a long time ago. But my last pregnancy back in September I felt rubbish and my boobs were bigger and tender. That being said I know every pregnancy is different 😊

Sb86 · 10/03/2023 16:59

Ps I won't judge your nails @TTCX2 , mine only look nice at the moment because I had them done for our wknd in London last wknd.

ChloeN · 10/03/2023 17:58

@TTCX that looks a really dark line so I wouldn’t be too anxious about the 3+, although easier said than done!

TTCX2 · 12/03/2023 19:02

Got my 3 🥲❤️ I don’t know why this plastic test with a 3+ on it was a milestone for me but I just didn’t reach this point last time. I’m off the tests now! Scan a week tomorrow 🤞 how is everyone doing? Sending you all lots of love xxx

Evening All

Hope you're all ok and have had good weekends!
I'm feeling very anxious tonight, my scan is tomorrow which has come round quick but I've just noticed more pinky/brown like discharge (sorry for TMI) so really not feeling hopeful.
I know last time I had it, it could have potentially been due to the internal scan but has anyone had it on and off?

X

Charliexo · 12/03/2023 19:09

@TTCX2 we both thought of this group at the same time!
That's so lovely to see 💖 I hope your scan comes round quick 💖 X

TTCX2 · 12/03/2023 19:26

Hi @Charliexo i was going to say that has come round really quickly, I’m glad it didn’t feel too long for you. I completely understand where your anxiety is coming from. Just keep telling yourself there is so much going on inside your body right now it’s so very common to have a little bleeding/discharge and there can be lots of very normal reasons for it. I know a couple friends who had significant bleeds through their pregnancies and have healthy little ones now. Try and get an early night and some sleep. What time is your scan? X

Charliexo · 12/03/2023 19:33

@TTCX2 thank you! Yeah I suppose we don't realise what our bodies go through during pregnancy.
My scan is really early, it's at half 8 in the morning so at least we don't have to wait all day.
I've started having a little pamper night to try and help me relax before bed xx

ChloeN · 12/03/2023 19:38

@TTCX2 Fab news about the 3+ such a good milestone☺️

@Charliexo good luck for your scan in the morning, I’ll be thinking of you! Hopefully it’s nothing to worry about and baby is all good in there xx

Ive got my next scan Thursday, I’m trying not to think about it too much because probably like you all that’s when the anxiety starts!

TTCX2 · 12/03/2023 20:01

All the best for tomorrow @Charliexo. will be thinking of you and keeping everything crossed. Enjoy your pamper night- you deserve it!

thanks @ChloeN. try and keep yourself busy busy and Thursday will be here before you know it. How many weeks are you now? Sending you all the positive vibes! Xx

ChloeN · 12/03/2023 20:11

@TTCX2 I’ll be 20 weeks Wednesday, it’s still surreal I’m nearly half way! I’ve had the early anomaly scan at least but I think I’ll be anxious for every scan no matter what! Thank you ☺️xx

Sb86 · 12/03/2023 21:19

Hey ladies 👋🏼

@TTCX2 so happy you've got your 3+ yeah step away from those tests now and look forward to your scan 🥰

@Charliexo sorry to hear you're having more spotting, mine has started back up again which has got me feeling the same. My scan is booked for a week on Thursday but I'm going to ring tomorrow and see if they can bring it forward, as far as I'm aware so long as they can confirm pregnancy is in the right place they can start you on progesterone. Hope all goes well at your scan tomorrow 🙏🏼

Oh wow @ChloeN I wasn't aware you were so far ahead, thats lovely...I'm excited for you! I think it's natural to be anxious after a loss at any point isn't it, have you started to enjoy the pregnancy a bit?

calipoppy · 13/03/2023 08:01

Good luck this morning @Charliexo !

sorry about your spotting @Sb86 , definitely see what they say on the phone but just to warn you my EPU wouldn’t give me progesterone last week because they only saw an empty sac and said it needs to be viable (it’s also been the most horrendous week worrying it might be a blighted ovum) but I know others have had more success, just might be worth double checking on the phone!

Sb86 · 13/03/2023 08:09

@calipoppy that's a good point about it being viable, I'll see what they say...no harm in trying. I don't want the added anxiety of thinking something else if they can't offer me progesterone straight away. It's a week on Thursday but it's a long wait when you're spotting and fearing the worst at every loo trip! I know you'll have said earlier but I get all jumbled up on these threads, when do you go again for a scan?

@Charliexo thinking about you today, all the best ❤️

TTCX2 · 13/03/2023 08:28

@ChloeN i loved that stage being able to see your bump grow ❤️.

@Charliexo thinking of you and sending you lots of love right now ❤️

Charliexo · 13/03/2023 11:52

Hi everyone!

Thank you so much for all your well wishes.

Scan went really well! Sacs are now next to each other, each with yolk sacs and we saw both heart beats. She said say one is measuring a lot smaller than the other one, she mentioned that we could have possibly got pregnant at different times 😱 I didn't even think that was possible. Or one potentially may not continue but at the moment they're both looking good with heart beats so we are relieved 🥰🥰🥰 they said I won't have anymore scans until my 12 week scan unless I have any problems. She did say spotting is really common in twin pregnancies, so that's put me at ease.

Thank you all again for the well wishes, I hope I've started the next couple of weeks of all good news on this thread xxx

Sb86 · 13/03/2023 11:54

Oh wow @Charliexo how lovely and exciting, i got goosebumps reading your post 🥰🌈🌈 such great news. Did you get a pic? X

Charliexo · 13/03/2023 12:07

@Sb86 thank you 🥰
And no I didn't get a pic, I did ask if we could get a print out but she said they don't offer them there, I'd have to wait until my 12 week scan.
I had the same snotty sonographer as last time so I didn't dare ask to take a photo of the screen 😂😂
Xx

ChloeN · 13/03/2023 12:21

@Charliexo ah what amazing news I’m glad it went well☺️💕

@Sb86 yes definitely enjoying it now, I was okay after the 12 week scan really it’s only when I get a few weeks since the last one I start getting anxious again!xx

calipoppy · 13/03/2023 12:38

@Charliexo that’s brilliant news!! How exciting, I bet you feel great now after that 💖

@Sb86 my scan is on Wednesday so not too long to wait now. I totally know what you mean about the wiping fear. I’d say it’s worth moving it if they’ll give you progesterone once location is confirmed and you’re prepared it might only be an empty sac, but personally I wish I had known mine wouldn’t before or I would never have had one last week!

Sb86 · 13/03/2023 14:01

Ahh I see @Charliexo how were they today? I know it definitely went a lot better this week.

I can imagine @ChloeN I can't wait to get to that stage 🙏🏼🤞🏼

I haven't rang them yet @calipoppy I'm going to see how my spotting goes because it's hit and miss. If it comes back a bit heavier I'll ring but I don't want to go and be leaving without progesterone. Yeah Wednesday will soon come round 😊

Sb86 · 13/03/2023 15:45

Also how's everyone getting on with symptoms? I still feel alright in myself really 😕
