Just marking my place - thanks for making a new thread @Needtobuildabridge ✨🤍

overgrowngrass · 16/02/2023 10:59

Hey, please can I join? I got my BFP last night, due 28 October.

Absolutely over the moon as was told I might struggle to conceive due to low follicle count & AMH as well as endometriosis and adenomyosis.

My son will be 16 when baby is born 😱😂 I’m a bit worried about what his reaction will be.

What’s everyone else’s due dates?

NSx · 16/02/2023 11:05

@overgrowngrass im about same as you, 27/28 October ❤️❤️ congratulations ✨✨

Chanteuse · 16/02/2023 11:35

@Needtobuildabridge placemarking! Thanks for the new thread! 💕

Pregnancychatter · 16/02/2023 11:45

Anyone feel like when their hunger randomly strikes it's intense and somewhat painful?

Anyone feel like when their hunger randomly strikes it's intense and somewhat painful?

@Pregnancychatter YES! I have felt this recently. It’ll suddenly come on and actually make me feel sick a little bit because I am so hungry.

@Needtobuildabridge thank you for your help on the other thread re dates! That makes total sense. I was getting myself tied up in knots trying to work it out before 🙈

MeganC104 · 16/02/2023 11:53

Thanks for the new thread. Due 31 October

Jealousofchiliheeler · 16/02/2023 12:00

Jumping back on the new thread, due 25 October, will be second baby. Anyone else getting a grim metallic taste in their mouth? I keep finding myself wanting to eat or drink something to get rid of it but then it comes back almost straight away! Think I need to get some sugar free mints to suck....

Bertiebean · 16/02/2023 12:25

Cautiously joining - I’m so scared to jinx anything.

3 week plus 6 days - I think.

I’ve had losses/chemicals so not going to get too excited yet.

Due date is 27th October.

Havent told my husband yet and not sure I want to until I get past 6 weeks at least, does anyone else feel this way?

Pregnancychatter · 16/02/2023 12:31

Glad it's not just me, it's horrible! We had to end a day out early the other day because I was suddenly hungry and there was nowhere to buy something.

Surprised by it because usually I can feel hungry and not care for hours. Now it's overwhelming straight away!

Ymd89 · 16/02/2023 12:58

Hello everyone,

Hoping I can join the thread 😊 had an initial faint line on 12th feb and these have been getting darker since. We did a clear blue digital on valentines and this said 1-2 weeks pregnant. According to flo, I am 4 weeks with a predicted due date of 26th October.

This will be my second baby, my son turned 2 in January 🥰.

I had implantation bleeding a few days before my period was due which made me think we hadn’t conceived. However had raging heartburn (only ever had this during pregnancy) which made me start testing. Have already started feeling exhausted and noticing every twinge! Have booked an early scan for a few weeks time.

looks like this has been a really supportive thread and hoping to be part of that 😊

Hopefulx · 16/02/2023 13:00

Thanks for starting a new thread 🥰 @Needtobuildabridge

Has anyone had their hcg levels tested? I had mine done on 19 dpo/ 4weeks + 5 and they come back as 5984 which I think is about right. Just curious what other people’s levels were around similar dates. I am 5 weeks today and just got 3+ on CB, it makes me so happy seeing 3+ as in the past haven’t progressed over 1-2 with previous mcs… think I’ll stop testing now!

AlongcameLainey · 16/02/2023 13:21

i got my 3+ on the digital today. Not with fmu either so it was a nice surprise!

I had 2-3 on Saturday.

Early scan booked tomorrow to rule out ectopic but hcg levels have doubled so taking that and the 3+ as a positive sign 🤞🤞🤞

Needtobuildabridge · 16/02/2023 13:23

@Hopefulx I did my Beta HCG at 16dpo roughly 4+2 and got a result of 1352. A few more days of doubling for me would be similar to you. Hope this helps x

OP posts:
AlongcameLainey · 16/02/2023 13:27

my hcg at what I think would have been 4+4 was 204 and then at 4+6 was 457

i thought this was low but according to the doctor the levels can vary wildly and all that matters is that it doubled x

Should add that my dates may be out due to longer cycles though!

Bertiebean · 16/02/2023 13:38

How do you get your HCG measured?

AlongcameLainey · 16/02/2023 13:53

@Bertiebean mine was done at my local hospital due to previous complications x

Needtobuildabridge · 16/02/2023 13:54

@Bertiebean I paid for a private test

Hi everyone just placemarkong - can't believe the old one filled up so quickly!
Also another starving one here, so much more sick than first time around if I don't eat.

I'm so anxious about this one not sticking and can't seem to shake a sense of it going wrong. It's horrible. But also, with a two year old, I'm terrified to go back to newborn stage! Even tho my first has actually been a dream really.

I haven't told anyone yet really, but think I will soon if I don't start feeling any better. So strange to have a massive thing going on for you and no one to know!

IaminRome · 16/02/2023 14:05

Also thinking about an early scan.. had one at 10 weeks last time because partners couldn't come to the NHS one because COVID. We've moved since and I don't know where the nearest one will be - we used window to the womb, does anyone have any other recommendations for early scan places?

Chanteuse · 16/02/2023 14:32

@Pregnancychatter yes to the hunger! I feel so sick when I’m hungry 🤮

adayatatime23 · 16/02/2023 15:43

Placemarking! 7 weeks today 🤞🏻🥰

Summer022 · 16/02/2023 16:00

@IaminRome what was your experience with window to the womb? I’m really unsure of who to book an early scan with as I am so anxious about it, I really want for it to (hopefully) be a pleasant experience 🤞

Bertiebean · 16/02/2023 16:07

I’m being booked in for a viability scan due to high risk factors at 7 weeks. Just need to get through 3 weeks - considering the hcg testing - do you book a package so they can compare?
