I’m currently 5+4 and completely symptomless. I had the same with my last pregnancy and although grateful it makes it hard to believe i’m actually pregnant

couldn’t resist and got a frer on a whim today and was not expecting such a dye steal! Put my mind at ease (for now!)

@DSP21 apart from sensitive nips, I'm pretty symptomless too.
After a mmc it makes me very bloody nervous. Yet the mmc I had really strong symptoms, really early on.

So with your previous pregnancy it was the same? Nothing horrendous?

VictoriaBlossom · 28/02/2023 17:51

Ps, lovely dye stealer there darling @DSP21

Koalawhala · 28/02/2023 18:04

I feel similar to you @VictoriaBlossom, not much symptom wise but I had intense symptoms with my early losses so hoping it’s a good sign for me (and you) 🤞

LWestYorks · 28/02/2023 18:09

Is anyone extremely knackered to the point they just feel in a daze all day? I’m 7+5 I think!

cockerspaniel · 28/02/2023 18:14

Hi all. I've lurked for a long time on mumsnet but I'm finally joining in as I got a positive test last night and I think my due date is around the 24th of October. This is my first baby and whilst excited I am absolutely terrified at the same time 🤣

CB23CB · 28/02/2023 18:14

@Koalawhala exactly how I feel. I had strong symptoms last time and knew clearly when they had stopped. This time I don't really have anything and I'm worried I'll mc again and not be aware. Ahhhh the stress!

DSP21 · 28/02/2023 18:21

@VictoriaBlossom

I had absolutely no symptoms last time, not even a whiff! It made me soo anxious but all was well in the end. Besides a bump I wouldn’t have known I was even pregnant, and to top it off I had an anterior placenta so barely felt any kicks either

Phoenixwings1989 · 28/02/2023 18:52

@blebbleb I've done so already but keep getting told they'll be in touch. It's like being met with a wall of silence. I did try to self refer but not entirely sure I did it right. I am useless when it comes to electronic forms.

I've just got back from early scan. When she first started searching she could only see the sac (bladder was empty even though I drank two glasses of water beforehand grr!) Then after a bit more searching she could see a baby with a heartbeat. Baby is in the right place but measuring 7 weeks instead of my predicted eight. The heartbeat was constant, flashing blue and red about ten seconds apart which seemed a bit slow to me but I don't know. After having intense cramps during the night and most of today I thought the worst and I guess there's a part of me that's still worried.

LR94 · 28/02/2023 19:15

I’m really craving a chicken salad from subway! Does anyone know if this is safe to eat? I’ve googled it and there is alot of mixed advice. My initial thought is that it would be okay but now i’m not sure!

katherine123x · 28/02/2023 19:41

@LWestYorks absolutely. Can barely get through the day. Lose my thought process all the time. Sleeping 12 hours a night. Naps during the day!

LWestYorks · 28/02/2023 19:47

@katherine123x yes to the thought process! It’s actually been freaking me out - my sleeping is pretty poor at the minute though due to the awful vivid dreams I’m having!

LaVitesse2022 · 28/02/2023 20:02

@LR94 why wouldn't it be safe? I'd imagine the chances of getting food poisoning from Subway are very low. And even in the very off chance that happened, that wouldn't necessarily be a problem. I have a friend who got food poisoning during pregnancy and it didn't impact her baby at all. Honestly, our bodies are much hardier than we give them credit for ;)

Chanteuse · 28/02/2023 20:16

@LWestYorks I’m exactly the same! So tired and find myself zoning out when people are talking to me! 😩 Feels so rude but my brain is so foggy!!

PrimarilyParented · 28/02/2023 20:24

The tiredness is crippling and my DS woke me up just after 4am today and I had a whole day of teaching to manage. Currently in bed about to crash.

LWestYorks · 28/02/2023 20:30

@Chanteuse is this due to the extreme tiredness or the horrible dreams we are having? I’m so drained 😩 I hate going to sleep in a night due to them.

DancingNancies · 28/02/2023 20:42

@LWestYorks @katherine123x @Chanteuse @PrimarilyParented I'm exhausted! Felt shattered yesterday but put it down to a bad night's sleep and being awake for hours, but I slept really well last night and if anything I'm more tired today!

Tends to hit me about 11ish, then I drag myself through the afternoon - either teaching in a daze, or pretending to my kids that I'm fully involved in whatever game we're playing - but if I'm honest I'm just thinking about when I can go to bed 😂

LR94 · 28/02/2023 20:45

@LaVitesse2022 thats good to know! I’ve been over thinking everything i’m eating.
Its something to do with catching listeria from the cold deli meats and the lettuce xx

LWestYorks · 28/02/2023 20:46

@DancingNancies 🤣 my symptoms start between 10-11am too weird isn’t it! The nausea is something else for me 😩 yesterday j felt okay after the worst few weeks and today it’s come back! How far are you? The extreme tiredness is also kicking in now too.

DmcinT · 28/02/2023 20:54

Think I’m close to 7 weeks and the tiredness is full on. Had my confirming appointment with the doctor last week and I’ve been told not to run, lift weights or even fast walk (I do at least one of these things everyday so it’s a big blow for the next 7+ months) I recently had a few lletz procedures back to back so have a weakened cervix. Anyone else in the same position?

katherine123x · 28/02/2023 20:57

@LWestYorks totally. It's massive brain fog over here and finding it hard to pay attention at work etc. Hoping this eases off. I've read that it can after 12 weeks which is while to go yet....

DancingNancies · 28/02/2023 21:11

@LWestYorks based on my LMP I'm 6+2, but I had a chemical last cycle so AF was 5 days late after some very faint positives - then this cycle I had a super strong positive 2 days before AF was due so I could be totally wrong!

I've never felt so exhausted in pregnancy before - trying to work out if it's purely symptomatic or a result of 2 energetic DS in addition!

ali2021 · 28/02/2023 21:51

Totally with you all on the exhaustion. I can't believe how debilitating it is! I had always heard about pregnancy tiredness, but like someone mentioned earlier, I hit about 11am and I can barely talk to anyone in the staff room, let alone teach 😵‍💫 Good complaint to have if it means being pregnant I suppose 😀

VictoriaBlossom · 28/02/2023 22:06

There's me saying I have no symptoms.

I do.

My sense of smell is OFF THE SCALE. I've had to go to A and E with my boyfriend as he's got something in his eye.
I couldn't handle the smell of the emergency department, the smell of stale smoke on the man next to me was unbearable and I chose to sit in the cold over being sat in A and E.

Hope he's sorted soon because this is vile

Baby1023 · 28/02/2023 22:59

@VictoriaBlossom I totally feel you.

I can smell onions in the house that my has and ate THREE days ago!

Cigarette smoke in the street makes me feel so unwell!

My toddlers nappy… well.. you can imagine!

Horrible isn’t it!
