Thanks @AnnieApple123 💙

sally16 · 24/01/2023 21:58

Another thread 🥳
Omg I hope we get one for everyday! That would be amazing!!

unluckyinlife · 24/01/2023 21:59

Thank you! Thread 6 already 😮xx

Mulner88 · 24/01/2023 22:12

Can't believe we are thread 6 already. This must be a record!

So glad of all the positive scan results. Let's keep them coming ☺️ I'm just trying to catch up on all the messages for the past couple days now tonight! Thinking of everyone grieving ❤️ it's so hard when there is good news you want to share with loved ones but can't 😢
@sally16 really just listen to your body! You and your growing baby take priority right now. I also felt bad taking time off work too before New Years due to the guilty feeling of a service with lack of staff etc. it's horrible that this is a thing, but I try to tell myself it was the best for me! See how you feel tomorrow night, but if you're still struggling, definitely sign off.

Mulner88 · 24/01/2023 22:14

@P1pk hope the bleeding stops for you 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 it's so stressful when things like this happen! Pregnancy is not easy for the body or the mind!

Amme18 · 24/01/2023 22:16

Thanks for sorting again @AnnieApple123 !

ChloeN · 24/01/2023 22:23

Wooo new thread🎉 I’ve had no sickness since last Wednesday and it’s just returned tonight, this is the 2nd time it’s gone away for nearly a week and come back! I don’t really understand it 🤣

Sjw30 · 24/01/2023 22:27

Thank you!@AnnieApple123

Nic2908 · 24/01/2023 22:35

Thank you @AnnieApple123!!

Mulner88 · 24/01/2023 22:39

@ChloeN it's weird, I get it sporadically too but defo not as often! Mainly when I'm hungry, but I'm still gone off food like chicken even though I'm 13+3. I wonder will I hate chicken now forever or if that disappears eventually 😂

BananaBread3 · 25/01/2023 04:03

Thanks for the new thread @AnnieApple123

Amme18 · 25/01/2023 07:25

@Mulner88 im the same, was the same last pregnancy - went off most meats but came back after!

froglou · 25/01/2023 07:51

Hiya, I'm due 1st sept so haven't had scan yet, I've gone another 2 weeks but I'll likely have a csection in august! It's my second pregnancy my last being 6 years ago!
I'm currently on the anti-sickness medication but am vomiting through it, had anyone else has this? Thanks x

unluckyinlife · 25/01/2023 08:00

I finally have my booking appointment today. I feel like this will finally make it feel real. Does anyone know what I should expect? I've been told to leave aside at least 1 hour and 15 minutes for the appointment. Will they do bloods? It's at my local antenatal unit.

AnnieApple123 · 25/01/2023 08:18

I also have lots of food aversions. Apple juice is one, which seems bizarre.

I’ve just had an email asking if I’d be interested in some work from September. I’m currently at home full-time with DS but he’d be due to start nursery then (although probably won’t), so it’s a reasonable assumption that I may be looking for work from then. It seems reasonable now I’m 13+ weeks and have had a scan to say that I’m going to be on maternity leave again from the summer. Feels very odd to actually put it in writing though.

@unluckyinlife they do your bloods and also go through family history and all about you and your partner too. Lots and lots of questions. Hope your appointment goes well!

@AnnieApple123 thanks for the new thread!

AnnieApple123 · 25/01/2023 08:20

Welcome @froglou ! Shall I put you down for September 1st for now or do you want to choose an earlier date?

marleyandme · 25/01/2023 08:40

Ahh I was still responding to the old thread! This is definitely record breaking 😂

On the antenatal group subject, we're going to join our local bump and baby club one which is like nct but midwife led and slightly cheaper. Mostly because it's at a convenient time and location in may/June!

Good luck for everyone with scans this week

buttercupbee · 25/01/2023 08:54

Thanks for setting up the new thread @AnnieApple123 😊

We are looking at doing NCT although won’t book until after our scan. The one near us is £269 for 6 in person classes which I didn’t think was too bad

UsernameNotPresent · 25/01/2023 09:09

Place marking.
Welcome @froglou . Sorry to hear about HG, I hope it will ease off soon enough for you.

AnnieApple123 · 25/01/2023 09:12

@unluckyinlife Hope all goes well today. There’s lots of info on booking appointments below. I think most places do booking bloods at the first appointment? I ended up having mine a bit later but think that’s less common.

@Miraclesdohappen88 Apologies I think I’ve missed you out? I’m sure you gave a date?

ChloeN · 25/01/2023 10:22

They won’t rescan me until 15 weeks 🙄 but it was worth an ask! I’m just not going to worry about the screening now, I’m hoping by them not giving me it they think I’m low risk?
