@Bridgey8 how u doing? How are you finding weaning? X

Bridgey8 · 27/04/2023 21:23

@Skl2021 I'm good thanks - although in swing of teething at mo. How are you?
Weaning is just a faff isn't it.... he's happy enough eating stuff (although not feeding himself) it's just planning every day what to bloody make him! How about you?

Hi Ladies

Well - I didn't know when I'd be back (last pregnancy ending in mmc at 11 weeks was 2019). But here I am! 4+3, feeling anxious and numb at the same time. But I guess hoping for the best. Already getting myself worked up over the fact the clearblue test still says 1-2 weeks when it should say 2-3 by now 😫more here for reassuring stories of it working out for people really!

Thanks for reading :)

@moosey89 Ooh, such a tricky time - you don't know whether to be excited or cautious. Not much I can say to help, only that lots of us on here were in similar positions and it turned out well. We're here for you, and keeping fingers well and truly crossed that yours does too.

@moosey89 welcome ❤️ it's such an anxious time where you want to be excited but it's hard. Try not to drive yourself mad analysing pregnancy tests. I was the same when pregnant after miscarriage, and to be honest the worry never really went away but now I have a gorgeous baby who is keeping me up all hours of the night 😂 x

@barneymcgroo @Sassy144 thank you both so much! It's such a strange place to be. I always assumed I would feel anxious, I guess I'm feeling whistful? Like, just deeply wanting it to work so I can start the next chapter. My previous loss was the start of the end of my marriage (this pregnancy is with a new partner, been together 3 years and he's amazing) so there was a heap of trauma there beyond the loss itself. Plus side to this pregnancy is I got pregnant a lot quicker than the first time which took years! So I have that to be grateful for too. I'll just hang around here, pray for the best, stay as healthy as I can and see what happens xx

It's so nice to hear positive outcome stories. When I first had my loss I found it hard to be around others who were pregnant, but now I find it helps me be more optimistic.
Being up all night with a baby.... that's the dream! 😂x

How is everyone doing? I can't quite believe that I almost have a one year old on my hands 😵‍💫

Sassy144 · 14/08/2023 16:25

@Bridgey8 hey! How fast is it going!? Nearly 7 months here and in teething hell, but he's a little star I can't imagine life without him now. How are you?
