@aesgriff oh god, the hospital bag... I've got one for me, one for the baby. And one for the boys to go and stay with Granny. Can't remember how it worked last time - I didn't take much, assumed if I was in longer my husband would have to go home anyway.
There are loads of lists on here or on the internet.
Snacks: after DS2 I got the shakes something chronic. Think adrenaline. One entire bag of haribo later...
Can't remember if this is your first - the baby will inevitably wee on everything, so bring a couple of changes for them.
And you don't miraculously lose the entire baby weight instantly, so comfy pregnancy clothes to leave hospital with.

@barneymcgroo yep I have packed (or due to pack!) A floaty maternity dress and maternity tights for coming home (and will skip the tights it I end up needing c section!)

@arianasky my heartburn has just become established now too and ramped up in the last week or so. You could ask your gp for something I don't see why not. Sorry to hear about your DPs loss

@arianasky @Srx1 I have survived a whole week with the in laws! Only 9 more to go 😂

@barneymcgroo snacks is such a good suggestion. Everyone forgets about that and can come handy.

@Arwen7 wow that's incredible hosting! I can barely last an afternoon with people in my house before I get tetchy and want them to leave haha!

Got quite a few stretch marks too which I am a bit gutted about i wont lie! Hopefully they fade after birth

@elm26 👋 Welcome along. So sorry to hear about your losses, and I really hope this one sticks. The worry is horrendous, Friday is going to seem like an eternity! Hope you're doing okay - lots of support here.

@barneymcgroo I’m going to pack some maternity leggings and looooong tops. My feet are so swollen though I can’t even fit into crocs. Flip flops in October it is! Xx

@Annny27 I’ve also come out in a few stretch marks and feel a bit like you. Sad they’re there but not too bothered xx

I’m glad I found you all! I was briefly on the latter end of the last thread, I’d just found out I was pregnant. This will be pregnancy number 3, my first was sadly stillborn at full term, three years ago. We then had our little rainbow, DS who is 2 later this month.

I’m now 7 weeks with this one. Had a private scan on Sunday and everything looked good and as it should. Plus it is definitely ust one baby as DH and I were panicking it was twins lol. I’m feeling rubbish, usual tiredness and nausea but with added headaches this time. Not easy with a toddler! Best of luck to all who are so close to meeting their babies.

@aesgriff I have a couple of long shirts - buttons at the front for feeding. Though now it's so long since I packed, not even sure what's in there any more...

Has anyones sickness come back in the third trimester? Last few days I've been nauseous and vomiting, I thought it was just COVID at first but I've been negative since Saturday and sickness started Sunday 🤢 also baby's movements feel way bigger like he's jumping around and that makes me feel sick 😷

@arianasky yes I think we are sue the same day and also had nausea and food aversion like first trimester. No actual sickness though sorry that's happened to you x

Hi everyone! Hope your all doing ok ♥️ quick update from me. Baby max made a very very quick appearance last Friday and is a tiny 6lb 💙 my labour was 16 minutes didn't have time for pain relief 🙈 few complications at birth but he's had checks and were sure everything is going to be ok 🤞 he also had a bit of jaundice so was on the bili bed for a few days so hoping he won't need to go back in for more treatment 🤞🙌 I'm so in love and so happy I finally have my rainbow in my arms! Can't wait to see who's next! ♥️🌈 X

Wow, I'm so so happy you've got your little rainbow in your arms - Max is a lovely name. And considering they were worried about growth, I'd say 6lb is a pretty decent size. Congratulations! 🌈🎊🎉🥳🍾

@barneymcgroo it was certainly a shock for everyone no one was expecting that not even me! Couldn't even get the words out to say he's coming! It just happened so fast 🤦 my last growth scan estimated him at 7lb2 so it was over a pound out! Yes we're finally home 💙 hoping the jaundice stays away so we don't have to go back! Hope your doing ok! X

@Annny27 I had the pessary thing late Thursday night but i didn't feel anything with it then suddenly Friday morning I started getting contractions thick and fast out of nowhere so called for the midwife and said I needed some pain relief but by the time she was there and tried to get me some he was already coming 🙈 x

@Skl2021 Oh good, glad you're home. I'm doing fine - due date is this weekend, so will see what happens... Nothing doing so far, just can't believe it's so soon!
