@Sassy144 definitely do your own research and see what risks there are. I wouldn't take induction unless theres a risk to you or baby. Get bouncing on a ball and do crab walk up and down steps 🤣 curry sex 🙊 get that baby moving 🙊🤣 x

When did your uterus area start to feel rounded?

I’m 5w today and I’m really concerned that it still feels flat. I miscarried at 12 weeks a year ago so I can remember how
round it got, but can’t really remember when that started - I can just remember that when my bleeding started it felt like it had gone flatter straight away (I guess my waters had broken slowly) like when my period is about to start so it’s really really freaking me out it being flat. I feel like it was rounder/firmer by now in my lost pregnancy but I don’t know if that’s my anxiety.

TheBirdintheCave · 12/01/2023 06:59

@TandB6530 Not until 16 weeks for me in my first pregnancy. I didn't get as far in the other two and my stomach just felt normal. At five weeks everything is so so tiny there will be no outward difference.

Sassy144 · 12/01/2023 15:40

@TandB6530 definitely not at 5 weeks. Anything previously was likely bloating so try not to worry x

@Sassy144 How are things...?

@barneymcgroo still pregnant 😩🙈 I was in with reduced movement yesterday, he seemed a lot less enthusiastic than usual but CTG was fine, he started showing off as soon as we got there and has been fine since.

They offered to induce me there and then which I declined as baby seems happy, but I have booked in for next Thursday so things can get started before I get to 42 weeks. Hope he comes on his own before then though..third and final sweep attempt is on Tuesday unless my cervix is still firmly shut 😞

TheBirdintheCave · 15/01/2023 23:20

@Sassy144 Hang in there! I'm sure he'll come soon :)

Skl2021 · 18/01/2023 12:48

@Sassy144 did you have your sweep? Hows everything? X

@mrshodgy21 how are you doing? X

Hope everyone is doing ok ❤

TheBirdintheCave · 18/01/2023 12:53

@Skl2021 Yeah I'm ok, just waiting and waiting and waiting for this spotting post surgery to end x__x I'm on day twelve now. I think my temperature has finally reached its usual non-pregnant baseline though so that's a good start.

mrshodgy21 · 18/01/2023 13:00

@Skl2021 hey hun I'm good thank you was definitely pregnant but the decision was taken out of my hands as I started bleeding and have been now for well over a week

How are you? X

Sassy144 · 18/01/2023 13:09

@Skl2021 sweep was unsuccessful again, no change at all in my cervix - baby doesn't seem to want to budge. Induction process will start tomorrow. It's almost a year to the day that we had our previous MC so I just want him here safe and sound now ❤️

@mrshodgy21 I hope you're okay, you must be feeling a lot of different emotions xxx

Skl2021 · 18/01/2023 13:26

@TheBirdintheCave glad your doing OK ❤ hopefully the spotting stops soon. Will you be trying again or you taking a break? I remember being so consumed in wanting to try again straight away but also absolutely terrified of going through it again. X

@mrshodgy21 I'm sorry to hear that. Hope the bleeding stops soon. Your emotions must be all over with it being a shock and now this. ❤ I'm not doing to bad. Max is going through a phase of not wanting to sleep unless someone is holding him 🫣 and he doesn't like his own bed 🙈 x

@Sassy144 oh wow that's come round quickly! Are you prepared? Do you have to be there early? Mine was late at night this time 🤔 x

TheBirdintheCave · 18/01/2023 13:36

@Skl2021 I'm 36 so we're just going to go for it again if my cycle ever kicks in 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ Our first IVF appointment is on the 30th so we'll see if they recommend that route with genetic testing or maybe something less invasive first.

TheBirdintheCave · 18/01/2023 13:37

@mrshodgy21 Sorry to hear that :(

Skl2021 · 18/01/2023 17:33

@TheBirdintheCave Good luck with your first appointment ❤ hopefully your cycle starts soon. 🤞 x

TheBirdintheCave · 18/01/2023 18:08

@Skl2021 Thanks :D I can't remember how long it took to come back after the first miscarriage. Wish I'd written it down 🙄

sunnyd67 · 18/01/2023 22:18

Has anyone got any experience regarding granulation tissue and restitching months after birth? Feeling miserable. 😢

Skl2021 · 18/01/2023 23:02

@TheBirdintheCave I think I ovualted around 3 weeks after mine and then period around 5 weeks. So my cycle got back on track fairly quickly. I know that's not the case for everyone x

@sunnyd67 no experience here but that sounds painful. Have u seen anyone about it x

sunnyd67 · 19/01/2023 00:59

@Skl2021 yes, they said they will need to restitch the tear and the waiting list is 3 to 6 months 😢 it's painful, so painful! I can't believe the waiting list is so long

Skl2021 · 19/01/2023 08:03

@sunnyd67 yes I can imagine it is 😔 have u not been given strong pain relief? What has caused this then? Did they not stitch u up right in the first place? X

sunnyd67 · 19/01/2023 09:01

@Skl2021 pain relief won't help unless you can numb the whole area, as it is the granulation tissue that's causing the pain - when moving around or catching when going to the bathroom. 😭 I'm pretty sure the midwife didn't do a very good job, I had a feeling right at the start that something is not quite right, I was checked by a midwife 2weeks pp and she said all looks fine but something you just know. I had a gyne app regarding this and she said the tear had come apart at some point very early on and after that granulation tissue started to form.

Skl2021 · 19/01/2023 10:38

@sunnyd67 yes sounds like it wasn't done right from the start then 😔 hope u get it sorted soon so your not in pain anymore x

Skl2021 · 20/01/2023 12:42

@Sassy144 do we have a baby 👶 💙

Sassy144 · 20/01/2023 12:47

@Skl2021 not yet! I opted for induction via dilapan rods which is a non hormonal method and meant we could go home for 24 hours while they hopefully dilate me. Just waiting for the call to go back in, but all night I've been having tightenings and cramps around every 8 minutes so hopefully baby is ready to start coming soon anyway!

Skl2021 · 20/01/2023 12:49

@Sassy144 never heard of that option! Sounds like things are starting 🤗 hopefully u will be holding baby very soon! Exciting times! Hope everything goes smoothly for you x
