So I know this is super super early, but I wanted to start a thread going for us ladies with December due dates. I had a mc during my first pregnancy in January so I'm nervous about everything, but also excited! I'm 4 weeks pregnant Sunday and my test lines have been fairly strong 🙏 I have a sensitive sense of smell and my nipples are sore (but I'm embracing every symptom I get!)

I was so hoping someone would make this thread 🥰

I had a mc at 5 weeks in Jan and just found out I'm pregnant again. Really excited got a good feeling about this baby unfortunately I had a bad feeling the last time 😩. I'm 4 weeks today due date calculator says I'm due the 1st 🥰

embob993 · 24/03/2022 21:24

Ee congratulations on your rainbow baby to be 🌈! It will be nice to compare experiences with people and ask questions/vent on here as I'm always googling 🤣 but I feel more pregnant this time than I did back in January so feeling positive x

You too lovely ❤️ absolutely I've been quite lucky to be on a ttc thread and it's been great to see how everyone gets on. I'm the same constantly googling 🙈 I actually haven't had as many symptoms as last time but I'm not complaining 😂 my tests are more positive than they were the last time which feels like a huge milestone!

How did your partner take the news? Were they excited? x

Gioia1 · 25/03/2022 01:58

Hi all and congrats!

Am 10dpo and I first got a positive yesterday at 9dpo
Due date December 7th. Am excited but a tad nervous as I had a MC on 24/01 at nearly 12 wks

Positive thoughts to all

embob993 · 25/03/2022 06:12

@buchananbaby Hes over the moon! I think hes cautious after last time because he was devastated but that's normal 🥰 he keeps saying he must have super sperm because of how quickly we've fallen 🤣 what about you and your OH? How did he react?

@ioia1 congratulations!! How are you feeling? 🌈 Wow we're all in the same boat 😊

I have a super feeling this time. Long may it last!

"Wow we're all in the same boat 😊" indeed, am 4 wks on Sunday as well

Am waiting to test with cb next wk

BuchananBaby · 25/03/2022 06:48

@embob993 that's amazing 🥰, my partner isn't really excited at this point but he's apologised because he will come round but he was absolutely devastated last time I actually think he took it harder than me, I'm hoping once we get another week or 2 under his belt he'll be buzzing 🥰❤️

@Gioia1 congratulations ❤️ I can't believe we're all in the same boat

@embob993 who really is awake at this time in the morning 🙈😂😂

Gioia1 · 25/03/2022 06:53

Out of curiosity what method did you all use to calculate due date?

I using the Naegele method this time.

With Dd I used NHS which was only 3 days off my actual delivery date.

Naegele says 07/12
NHS says 04/12

BuchananBaby · 25/03/2022 07:26

@Gioia1 I'm just using the NHS calculator it was only 3 days out for me too with my daughter. I have a feeling I may have ovulated slightly later so they may push me back a couple of days

embob993 · 25/03/2022 08:01

@Gioia1 I used the NHS calculator too. I didn't test positive until 16dpo so I thought I was out this month!

Hello! I just found out 2 days ago that I am pregnant, but I'm not 100% sure on dates as my periods are irregular/non existent! Had a small bleed (3/4 days, v light) 1st to 4th March, and have gotten 5 strong positive tests! I think i will be due early December! So excited but nervous and wish I knew how many weeks!! Anyone else in the same boat? Xxxxx

Gioia1 · 25/03/2022 13:46

Welcome and congrats!@Milamight

@embob993 @BuchananBaby I see. I'll mark my nhs date anyway as babies can come anytime they fancy. Although using my ovulation date am 7/12

Important thing is that we all carry to term Flowers

And yes my lines are progressing well am only 10dpo anyway
Here they are: p.s am 1hour ahead hence time difference

Due December 2022 ❤👶
embob993 · 25/03/2022 17:26

@gioia1 exactly! 😊 ooh that's a health looking line!!

Just walking to my local shop to see what I can have to drink for the evening 🤣 so far I think it will be caffeine free coke 🤔

Lol 😂 I've got 2 cans of regular coke in the fridge which I've been eying since the end of my period. Argh....and to think I was so carefree with my first!

embob993 · 25/03/2022 19:18

I tell you what, I was so strict with everything in January that I'm being nicer on myself now and decided to stop blooming googling what I can and can't have or I'll go mad 🤣 I've obviously cut out gin and my 4 mugs of coffee a day though 🙈

OP posts:
BuchananBaby · 25/03/2022 20:00

So I felt like a bit of a fraud all day because I don't feel pregnant at all so I done my last frer and I got a dye stealer 🥳 absolutely buzzing!

@embob993 you can have 1 coffee a day - I need it in the morning at half 6 when my daughter is hyper 😂

I seem to be craving orangeade so I'm on my second pint glass of the evening 🙈😂😂

Milamight · 26/03/2022 12:59

Hi everyone, im so confused with my dates! Ive been poorly a few months so no periods. I was in hospital January so definitely not pregnant. 1st to 4th March I had light bleeding which I was happy about as I thought my period had returned! So we properly starting trying as soon as the 'period 'finished.
On 23rd I decided I would start using strip tsts for the last week of the month, and tested first thing. I was really shocked it was positive and followed up with a frer and clearblue digital which were positive too. But I am really confused about my dates as now thinking, is it possible that wasnt actually a period as surely it would be too soon to have such clear positives!any ideas welcome! Desperate to know how many weeks I am! And is it possible to have conceive immediately after, if it was a period!! 😂🙃

Hmm I wonder if it was ovulation or implantation bleeding you had? 🤔 because 3 days would have been a very short period! Maybe try a cb digital that tells you how many weeks you are? Congratulations by the way!! 🥰

Hi all, hopping on over from the conception thread. Got my BFP on a FRER today after a few faint lines on cheapies. I am still worried it could be a chemical as it was faint but it was definitely there and AF hasn’t turned up so here I am.

Four weeks pregnant today and NHS due date is 3 December although my DS was two weeks early.

Got four more FRERs arriving tomorrow so I can watch the line progression and will then invest in some digitals.

BuchananBaby · 26/03/2022 20:26

@Milamight congratulations! Your light bleed may have been implantation a few people get this so you may be further on than you think 🥰

@Charl881 I think I've been on a few threads with you congratulations on your bfp ❤️

Meowcat89 · 26/03/2022 20:46

Hi all, I've been avidly reading in the conception threads for the last few months but decided to finally bite the bullet and post. Got my BFP at 12dpo which I was not expecting at all because I've been relatively symptom free and just figured it would take a lot longer. Due date looks to be 5th December. Can't wait to follow everyone's journey's Smile

Charl881 · 26/03/2022 21:03

@BuchananBaby yes I thought I recognised your name, had seen you’d got your BFP on one of the inception threads. Congratulations 🎉 I thought I was out this month as didn’t get BFP until 14dpo.

BuchananBaby · 26/03/2022 21:57

@Meowcat89 congratulations ❤️

@Charl881 it's amazing how that happens isn't it it really proves you're not out until af arrives! I tested everyday from 8dpo and not a hint until 11dpo pm my am test was negative!

I said I wouldn't test anymore but couldn't resist a cb weeks indicator for £10 in boots 😐 absolutely nuts but that's my last one was nice seeing 'pregnant'

Cocothecat1 · 27/03/2022 16:42

Hello I have been lurking here as well! Completely new to all of this and slightly freaking out. Found out I was pregnant two days ago and after a slight freak out am overjoyed.
Feel like I am acting too cautious and find myself googling constantly ‘will …. Hurt my baby’ anyone else feeling like this?
I am due around the 3rd December as well.
Have loved reading everyone’s posts so nice to experience it with others.
