So I know this is super super early, but I wanted to start a thread going for us ladies with December due dates. I had a mc during my first pregnancy in January so I'm nervous about everything, but also excited! I'm 4 weeks pregnant Sunday and my test lines have been fairly strong 🙏 I have a sensitive sense of smell and my nipples are sore (but I'm embracing every symptom I get!)

Lottie, my understanding is a private scan from 6 weeks onward as they expect to see certain things. But nhs do them earlier xx

Sera123 · 29/03/2022 08:38

@lottie222 and @hopefulsunshine11 fingers crossed for you both, try not to panic, it's so easy to second guess every little twinge isn't it? 💕

@BuchananBaby We've not told anyone yet, I've got a call with the Dr on Thurs but I think we might wait until we can get an early scan, then it might all feel a bit more real!

My only symptom so far has been ongoing cramping/bloating. It's quite uncomfortable and def worse in the evenings too.

I've got one more clearblue test to use so I think I will wait a few more days, use that, then stop testing. I really don't want to be second guessing whether the bean will stick, especially as there's nothing I can do about it anyway....

Moosic · 29/03/2022 09:20

Morning guys!! I've waited (not so) patiently to join 😂
Had a early miscarriage in October, so this will be our first child 🤩 nervously excited, but little nugget's line is still looking good. Obsessively still testing once a day, but so far 5 days since BFP and its going strong 👍😍 Also have been able to get 1-2 weeks on Clearblue, which felt amazing, as didn't get that far last time ❤️
Guessing I'm coming up for 4 weeks, but not sure as was on contraception till 25th-ish February and never had a period 😂😂🙈 Will wait and see what they say at scan 😂

lottie222 · 29/03/2022 12:09

Aww congrats @Moosic that's lovely news.
I caved and brought a clear blue digital... it bloody didn't work! Just showed an error sign. Not sure if that's someone's way of telling me to stop testing. Husband wasn't best pleased I'd wasted £11! Sad I wish I never bothered testing this morning with the frer!

Gioia1 · 29/03/2022 12:16

Congrats @Moosic!!
It's so encouraging to see the many bfpsDaffodil

Moosic · 29/03/2022 13:07

@lottie222 I'm sorry!! Honestly, I don't like Clearblue. I find that it takes a few more days than cheapies to have any kind of line, and even longer for digital. So when you're worried about bubba, it's a real worry!! Even worse when it doesn't work!! If you've still got it, take it into the shop with receipt and they should replace it for free. Or complain to Clearblue themselves.

BoyMum18 · 29/03/2022 13:20

Hello everyone!! Congratulations on your pregnancies :) hope it's ok for me to join.. can't imagine doing first trimester alone!! Haha. My app says I'm due 4th December so going with that until my first midwife appointment next month.
How is everyone getting on so far?

NewuserTTC · 29/03/2022 14:33

Hi all - congratulations to everyone!

I found out on Sunday that I’m due in Dec. This is my first pregnancy and any advise on how I get through the next 8 weeks until the scan would be much appreciated! So anxious 😬

Meowcat89 · 29/03/2022 14:40

I found out on Saturday and surprised my mum with it on Mother's Day which was so cute to see her reaction! We're going to tell the husband's parents this weekend and then keep quiet until 12 weeks I imagine.

I haven't really had all that many symptoms which I suppose I should be happy with because no doubt I'll be kicking myself in a few weeks time! But it's just a worrying time to know if everything's going as it should 🫤

Lovely to see all the BFPs for December though 😊

Sera123 · 29/03/2022 14:50

Congrats and welcome @Moosic, @BoyMum18, @NewuserTTC and @Meowcat89 🥰

I feel exactly the same! Anxious I don't have symptoms but anxious about dealing with symptoms!!
Milamight · 29/03/2022 16:54

I just booked a private scan to date it properly, think I will be around 8 weeks! Feeling nervous as the days pass and my stomach is so bloated and looks huge, not sure if it's because its my third!

@KittyKat1989

Hello ladies. Can I join please? NHS website says I am due on 6 December. Such a relief after six months of TTC baby #1 with not even the faintest whiff of line until this month, but I am terrified of something going wrong.

I have my midwife telephone call booked for week 7 and she said that the first NHS scan is at week 12. I have also booked a private scan at 7 weeks. Do I just assume everything is OK until then?! When should symptoms start?

I started testing at 11DPO and now 16DPO. I think it's time to stop POAS now Grin.

It's so scary waiting! You may not get symptoms early everyone's different, congratulations!
Laughingmole · 29/03/2022 18:08

Hello! Can I join too? 🙂 I’m 4 weeks and 5 days which gives me a due date of December 2nd. I’m very excited, it will be our first baby. Congratulations to you all 👶🏻

lottie222 · 29/03/2022 18:29

Hi @KittyKat1989 I am due the 6th of December too :) although if goes to plan it will be a November baby as I will have a c section like my previous dc. It's all so nerve wracking. I have had a few chemicals in the past so spoke to doctor this afternoon. She was so so lovely and although she couldn't do much it was just amazing to speak to a sympathetic and warm doctor! She's got in touch with my local EPU to see if they can monitor me to keep me reassured.

lottie222 · 29/03/2022 18:30

@KittyKat1989 can I ask when you received a positive digital? I tried to do one earlier Blush but it gave a error symbol Sad

lottie222 · 29/03/2022 18:30

@Moosic clear blue are such a joke aren't they! I've had this error sigh in the past too. Not using them again!

KittyKat1989 · 29/03/2022 18:47

Hi @lottie222 it was on 13 DPO. My first one also gave the dreaded error message. I think I dipped the first one for too long. My husband was fuming - £8 each!

Lovely to meet you all, and congratulations to you all too! It’s so good to have people to speak to as we’re keeping the news to ourselves for now.

Norberta · 29/03/2022 18:51

@KittyKat1989 I got a positive digital on 9 DPO which was day 23 of my cycle! I think that is early compared to most though.

Norberta · 29/03/2022 18:52

Sorry tagged the wrong person. @lottie222 see above re digi test!

hopefulsunshine11 · 29/03/2022 19:09

So going by calculating again I'm probably more 13dpo! I took this on a FRER tonight. It has slightly got darker from Sunday's so although I'm still getting cramps, back pain (I get it a lot anyway) and wee bits spotting at least it rules out chemical so just got to keep fingers and toes crossed!! This is how dark it got after 10 mins.

Due December 2022 ❤👶
hopefulsunshine11 · 29/03/2022 19:11

@KittyKat1989 That's a good time to get an early scan as any earlier can be frustrating.

I don't have any symptoms at all really, it can take weeks or you can get them right away. I've been pregnant twice before (still no baby) and never had symptoms apart from bloating.

Good luck ☺️ xx

BuchananBaby · 29/03/2022 19:30

Congratulations to everyone with their BFP's it's so amazing to see this thread filling up fast 🥳❤️

I don't have many symptoms except bloating and the occasional cramp and boob pain. Although my aversion to diluting juice (squash I think it's called down south) is back which I had with DD 🤢

lottie222 · 29/03/2022 19:44

Wow that's a great line @hopefulsunshine11 ! Mine is still super faint 13 dpo but I'm not going to test anymore. Can't take it!
