Hello everyone!

I have just had my BFP this morning, and based on dates I am due on the 1st September! I’m only just late on my period so hopefully there will be a few more of us over the next few weeks. Last pregnancy my date was pushed back a few days and DS ended up being a full 12 days late after that so I’m not too wedded to the 1st September!

Congrats.

My estimation date is currently 1st September too :)

Ds1 is 23 August, so I hope baby is a September birth and doesn't come early. Though DD1 was 41+1 and DS1 was 40+4, so I dont have a history of early babies.

Hi, I might pop in here too, got my bfp on Christmas eve, period was due yesterday. My apps are telling me I'm due Sept 4th.

This is would be our first baby. Had a chemical in October, so feeling very nervous and apprehensive about it all! Also getting married on Tuesday, so will be spending the day avoiding alcohol!

Beck3115 · 26/12/2021 11:45

Please can I join? Just had a bfp this morning due September 8th x

Got my bfp on Christmas Eve and then got the stronger (bottom) test yesterday morning 😃 AF not due until Wednesday. According to my dates I'd be due 7th September. So far my only symptoms have been sore breasts and needing to pee a lot more!

Hi @kitty1993 we are nearly the same then! I wish I had done a more expensive test before drinking wine yesterday 😬

But here we are. Other half is over the moon. I’ve just done a clear blue normal test because I still can’t believe it.

The only symptoms I’ve had are what felt like pulled muscles in my tummy last week, tiredness which I put down to Christmas, and cervix pains last week also. Now just sore boobs like pms x

GivenchyDahhling · 26/12/2021 15:35

Congrats ladies!

Have to admit I did have a glass of champagne yesterday; I figured since I found out early I could easily have been drinking without knowing I was pregnant 😂

I’ve booked in for an early scan at when I would be 8 weeks; I had one for DS and it really allowed me to relax in my first trimester, these early days are such a worry.

@GivenchyDahhling when you have a scan that early are they internal? X

kitty1993 · 26/12/2021 15:43

@GivenchyDahhling I think I'm going to book in for an early scan at 7 weeks. I'm already panicking that my symptoms feel less today and we're staying with the in-laws at the moment so can't even do a test. I keep reminding myself that I had a strong line yesterday so I should be ok. So hard not to panic.

@Beck3115 I've had the same weird feelings in my tummy like sore muscles and twinges. Another weird symptom I've been having is feeling really cold. Everyone else seems fine temp wise and I'm here shivering and wrapped in a scarf and double socks!

Can't wait to get home tomorrow evening and take another test.

Also, the MIL has definitely guessed already but she's not said anything. She gave me a look when I turned down the champagne and I just know she knows 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

GivenchyDahhling · 26/12/2021 16:51

@Beck3115 It should by 8 weeks be OK for an abdominal scan, with DS I had a scan at 7+5 I think and abdominal was fine, even picked up the heartbeat which I don’t think is guaranteed that early.

I have got a little more extra padding this time round though!

buttercuplizzy · 26/12/2021 16:55

I think 7 weeks would be abdominal. I had an early scan due to bleeding with Ds1 at just shy of 7 weeks and could see baby very clearly.

kitty1993 · 26/12/2021 18:22

What dpo is everyone? I'm 11dpo and period is due on Wednesday and I'm so worried about it still coming. I think I must have implanted early in order to get a decent line at 9dpo.

This will be my first baby! Eeek!!

GivenchyDahhling · 26/12/2021 18:31

@kitty1993 I think I ovulated on the 8th, I did a FRER test on the 14th which was a BFN (not even the faintest of lines), then tested again on the 22nd which was a super strong, stronger than the control, BFP. So I guess that was 14 dpo, and makes me now 18 dpo

Beck3115 · 26/12/2021 20:09

Thanks for your advice ladies I may look into an early scan as I bled a lot with my son and never really relaxed until that 12 week scan.

I’m 10dpo due my period on Wednesday and I am also worried it will still come x

Whoknew22 · 27/12/2021 14:59

Hi everyone, congratulations on your BFP. I got mine this morning. Well a very light one yesterday and today a bit darker but still pretty light. Think I ovulated on 14th. Look forward to sharing this journey with you all. I have a little boy who’s 2 and we’re going to have very close birthdays here 🙈🙈

Beck3115 · 27/12/2021 15:04

Congratulations @Whoknew22 we are about the same then I think I ovulated the 15th x
@GivenchyDahhling when you have a scan that early are they internal? X
I wouldn’t bother with an early scan before 8 weeks as they are internal (and tbh can cause a lot of false hope). Once you get to around 9weeks if the early scan is good then there is a much better chance all is ok.

Llkjdhwhgsyoqobf · 27/12/2021 15:07

Still waiting to test but really hoping I can join this thread in a few days

Llkjdhwhgsyoqobf · 27/12/2021 15:08

Early September is a lovely time of year

Ladybirdlashes · 27/12/2021 16:32

Congratulations everyone!
I got a bfp on 23rd af wasn’t due till 26th but got a really clear positive, apps are telling me due date is September 4th 😊
This will be dc2 - 3rd pregnancy and the symptoms are full on already, terrible indigestion, nausea and soreeee boobs! Anybody else feeling it already? My dd was a breeze, barely any symptoms and nausea only lasted two weeks I’m worried this one will be quite different but trying to be positive that it’s a good sign!

yesthatsright · 27/12/2021 16:52

Hi all, I got a faint BFP today. I'm not due my AF until 1st Jan so I am super nervous it will still come. Haven't worked out exact due date yet but guessing early September!

yesthatsright · 27/12/2021 16:53

I have been feeling nauseous for about 3 days, that's my only symptom so far

madeleine85 · 27/12/2021 16:55

Hi everyone, can I join? Due the 4th of September per the internet/apps. This is our 2nd, first was 6 weeks early. I also had extremely bad morning sickness with the first, so a little terrified to go through that with a 2 year old. I had a meltdown about line progression yesterday, and tried to make a drs appt, but I think they will tell me to wait when I hear today. I checked again this morning and the line is better, I think I was just using dodgy/a variety of tests while away for xmas. Definitely feeling more pregnant today, boobs have been on/off tingly, but definitely there today. I can barely fit my usual exercise bra which I just put on. Excited for this for all of us though!!!

Tempusfudgeit · 27/12/2021 17:00

Hi everybody! I'm due Sept. 1st 2022 (18dpo) and I can't stop POAS! I've got an early scan booked for Jan. 15th when I'll be 7+3 and will hopefully be able to see something.

I'm 45 and if all goes well this will be my 4th child. Trying to just stick to the cheapy strips now to stop myself going bankrupt on Clearblues and FRER!

Very pleased to meet you all - what an exciting journey Smile

309SJ · 27/12/2021 17:34

Congratulations everyone! I’ve found out today and I’m still shocked, expected date will be 4th September. I’ve never been pregnant before, don’t have any recently pregnant relatives and none of my friends have children so it’s nice to read about others similar experiences! I’m having cramps like mild period pains, I’ve felt sick for like 10 days and I only really feel like eating loads of melted cheese 😂 x

Congrats. I had nausea/vomiting in my first pregnancy and full on HG with my second... there are some forums on here and also the Pregnancy Sickness Support charity, which I've found invaluable for advice. Amongst other vitamins/supplements, I'm taking ginger and B6. I've also got a prescription of Cyclizine which I'm taking a small dose pre-emtively.
