Hi ladies I have just got my BFP after ttc for a year. I'm 34 and it's my first pregnancy. I just thought I'd start a thread for anybody who has also just got a BFP. I'm excited but also terrified that something will go wrong! How are we all feeling?

Hi I joined you I have just got my first ever BFP after 4 years of trying and one failed IVF. This was my second go at IVF and lucky we been in shock but did clear blue that said pregnant so feel more real now. This is also my first I am 32 in September. Everything running tho my head. I feel OK up to now I have sore boobs but have all way tho as have hormones from hospital. Congratulations by the way. How you feeling xxx

Oh wow congratulations!!

I feel fine to be honest. Slight lower back pain almost like I'm going to come on my period but I've read that's pretty normal. My boobs are a bit sore when I take my bra off of a night but other than that I feel fine. It doesn't feel quite real just because only my husband and I know. I just can't wait to tell people but don't want to tempt fate!

Hello. Congratulations!!!! I also got my BFP this week - I am around 3 weeks 5 days, also praying nothing goes wrong! Have some mild cramps and slight nausea but so far so good! Xx

I got my BFP last week and am currently 4w 4days. I've had a bit of bleeding this week so been worried but all seems okay so far. Congratulations!

Hi, so pleased I found this thread. I was thinking of starting one of my own! I got my BFP this week and am also 34. I already have a ds10 so it's going to be a bit of a shock to the system going back to the baby days.

I would love to keep in touch with people going through the same journey. Haven't told anyone IRL yet.

Hi can I join this group I just got my first BFP today from IVF on 11dp5dt scared to be excited!
The clinic just called me scan booked in 7th Sept.

Can I ask which Pregnacare supplements are you guys taking?

Welcome ladies! It'll be lovely to have some people to chat to as we're going through the same things!

I only found out on Friday and I was taking folic acid, vitamin D and omega 3 anyway. Not sure if I should swap to a pregnancy multivitamin. I've made a self referral to the the midwife but I don't think I'll get an appointment until about week 8

I plan to ring midwives tomorrow. I haven't been taking anything so far Blush it's been so long that I've forgotten what I'm meant to take! I will ask midwives when I refer tomorrow.

I think I'm about 4 weeks. I only got married three weeks ago so it's been a very crazy time.

Got our BFP yday. Nervous and scared more than excited right now. Had a MMC in Jan at 10 weeks and an early miscarriage in April.

I'm on board. I had a BFP this morning and two negatives Hmm the positive was a definitive not faint positive though if that makes sense. I'm nauseous, off coffee, lower back ache and some mild pre period twinges so I'll wait and see, take another test in a few days.

Hi, I’ll join if I may! I got a very, very faint line on a cheapie yesterday morning (at 10dpo) and another one today. I’ve ordered a frer and a digital so will do that tomorrow. Lots of cramping today. This will be my third baby and I remember similar with my first two. Hoping it sticks. I’ve not actually told dh yet as it’s so early I don’t want to get his hopes up!

Congratulations everyone. I am on folic acid and vit D ivf hospital said it a must. I not sure what the next step is as under ivf clinic find out tomorrow have to ring for more hormone meds xxxx

I've made my first midwives appt today and stocked up on folic acid. Feeling a bit light headed and very tired but happy.

@MarmaladeToastAndAMarmaladeCat I am 4 weeks tomorrow and had my BFP on Saturday. It's my second baby though and I already feel like I'm popping. Did you find this with your second or with this one? Dunno if the little pot belly is bloating or my uterus pushing out a little but I'm like jheeze, let's chill out lol

@SchofeTee I feel really bloated too, my stomach is definitely sticking out 🤣 with my first I had no bump at all until 20 weeks and with my second I was visibly showing at 6 weeks so god knows what will happen to me this time 😂

I tested again this morning (12 dpo) with a cheapie and got a much darker line so hopefully that’s a good sign. I’ve ordered a frer and digital from Amazon which is coming today but not arrived yet so I think I’ll do it tomorrow morning with fmu.

@MarmaladeToastAndAMarmaladeCat I did a clear blue and had the faintest line on Saturday which I think was 11dpo but not exactly sure. Then got a digital one ffrom the chemist and it was the below.

I feel so pot bellied already! Will be 4 weeks tomorrow but assume it is bloating. I didn't show at all with my first until about 15/16 weeks but then it only showed after I ate! 20 weeks I deffo had a lil bump. We shall see!

Ah lovely, it’s always so nice to see the words on a digital. Even when it’s a line I’m still wondering if I’m imagining it or if it’s not strong enough. Will update when I do my digital so fingers crossed I get a positive with that too.
