I'm probably one of the first to find out, as there are no other chats! Based off of last period I'm due December 2nd! Got my first positive early at 9dpo.
Anyone else with me yet???

Congratulations... I expecting AF on 22nd but still hopeful that I might get BFP I'm scared of testing before I miss AF I have been trying for so long for number 3, I can't handle anymore disappointment.
I had cramps on DPO 10,11,12 then today nothing. Boobs are heavy and sore i know these symptoms are similar to PMS but these ones stops.
I'm keeping a positive mind. Whatever comes I will embrace. Just 2 more days and the wait will be over.

Congratulations! I've just joined today and I hope you don't mind me gatecrashing your thread, found out last week that I'm die right at the end of November. Not sure it's sunk in yet!

@Kann88 wooo congratulations! It really is an odd feeling isn't it! You find out you're pregnant, and then nothing... No apts, can't tell anyone. It's a strange thing to get used to. But it'll fly by and feel more and more real by the day 😊😊

Yes first! It's just mad like I just feel strange having to just sit and wait now. My first midwife appt is when I'm 9 weeks. I'm also feeling quite anxious as well hoping everything will go OK. What about you is this your first?

@Kann88 this is my second 😊 I have a son who will be 3 in May.
It is really odd, just being pregnant but no one knows! That's where sites like this come in really handy.
With my son I made an amazing group of friends through one of these threads. We set up a Facebook group, and still message each other daily for advice and general chatter. So I'm really hoping to get the same sorta thing this time! It's a great support talking with other women going through the same thing.

That's amazing. That's why I'm on here too I just like that you can get so much reassurance and hear from people who have been through it.

Hello all I found out I was pregnant yesterday had two positive tests still thinking I should do a third first time pregnant!

@potterurotter (great username) congratulations! I found out yesterday too, also done two tests. I'm planning to do them every morning until they're proper dark (still fairly light so far as only 10dpo)

Ah congratulations ladies. As we are all at similar stages (from date of my last period it puts me at 4 and a half weeks atm)

Anyone already getting any symptoms? I keep getting mild cramps, although I rolled over this morning and my god the pain for a split second! I also seem to be crying a lot!

@Kann88 I’m crying a lot too! Also really dry skin, nausea - can’t touch milk thought of it makes me want to gag, moody, sore boobs, can’t sleep! The lot

@kann88 cramps, lower back pain, slight nausea, and had a complete aversion to the smell of coffee which is odd for me

Oh no! I'm ok with food and smell so far... I'm also super tired already. Absolutely mad I never realised how soon it all came on.

I will tentatively join with my first early BFP yesterday (would be due 1st December!). I have been trying for my first for four months. I've had a weird taste in my mouth all week and been waking up in the night with my boobs feeling weird - definitely a different sort of weird to usual achey boobs.

So I tested yesterday morning and first ever BFP!

@wiltshire90 welcome! We are due the same! (I'm either 1 or 2 December) I also got my first positive yesterday. This was cycle 6 of ttc for us.

@CCG92 hello 👋 seems a lot of us found out yesterday! This is my second pregnancy, but just as exciting and I think scarier than the first! Because this one took a longer time it feels like it's more fragile. I'm finding it hard to believe it's real

@Tabbycat92 it's such a worry isn't it? I am definitely finding it hard to believe it's real.

I was absolutely certain we were going to have problems (previous gyne issues) and take a long time to get pregnant, if ever. However we've been so blessed with the timing. Feeling so grateful.

It's my virtual hen party next Saturday...so thank god its virtual (Covid 🤦🏻‍♀️) and I can get away with nobody knowing that my glass is just lemonade 🤣

@Tabbycat92 thanks! It's going to be interesting. I'm worrying about it not sticking so don't want to be too optimistic yet (though of course can't help myself )

@CCG92 oh that is fortunate haha. I'm worried about hiding it once the beer gardens reopen etc, as wouldn't have had scans by then

@Wiltshire90 I feel the same. I've no reason to worry. But my good friend has had 2 miscarriages in the last year, so I'm so much more afraid of it this time than last time. That and chemical pregnancies

@Tabbycat92 yeah it's going to be a hard time to hide it. Only time where literally EVERYONE just wants to get out and have a drink 🥴 Feel like people are going to be super suspicious if we're not drinking.

I'm planning to get a private early scan at the end of April, so that I can tell our family on our wedding day 4th May.

We had a huge wedding planned but it all got cancelled due to Covid, so this new wedding is just 12 of us. Only parents, siblings and the two nephews. I should be 10 weeks at the wedding so we're going to tell them if the early scan has gone well 🥰

I'll then hopefully just have 2 weeks of beer gardens to get through before I can officially announce it 🤞🏼 What part of the UK are you in for the Covid route map?

Hi Guys, signed up today and ready everyone’s posts etc. I am 4 weeks pregnant and due on 22nd Nov. It’s my first child which is very much wanted but wasn’t planned. Just happened a bit sooner than expected. I am happy but very anxious and scared. I have not heard back from the midwife and worried as I have called her 3 times and left 1 voicemail. What’s everyone else experience? When did you guys hear back? X

@Tand91 I haven't told anyone (other than partner) or phoned the midwife yet. I'll probably leave it until at least 5 weeks until I ask for an appointment as I'm sure there's not much they do so early anyway
