Another vote for Kendamil organic. Pretty inexpensive if you buy from Amazon (£20 for two tubs) and very good ingredients

@daisyoranges your agenda is not relevant here. I actually agree with lots of your comments, however they are not at all relevant to the OP's post. She has stated she cannot breastfeed, so spouting rubbish about informed choices/breast is best nonsense isn't helpful. You sound like you're insufferable IRL if this is what you write on the internet

Why do posters comment on about breast feeding when the OP has already said she will be using formula. Some people can’t breast feed and others of us don’t want to. Formula gives babies an excellent start in life.

Mummyof2Terrors · 19/03/2021 12:02

I hope the OP hasn't been scared off too much. We used cow and gate (and I bf, but I'm not evangelical about it and treat it like a religion like some of the zealots).

I know
It’s like asking where to holiday in The Uk when you can’t go abroad as you don’t have a passport and someone commenting “Greece”
If the poster wants to discuss BF vs FF then great but if not there’s no need for the smug twats with a clear agenda to turn up
I wouldn’t dream of telling a lady asking about BF to formula feed instead

I breastfed both my children way into toddlerhood. That doesn't make me an arse though. What's right for me isn't right for everyone.

I echo what the others say about getting what's convenient.

If posters like @YawnyOwl and @daisyoranges genuinely want to support people to breastfeed and increase rates THIS is not how to do it. It just alienates those who don't breastfeed for whatever reason and if I was on the fence about breastfeeding it wouldn't be the people who 'misunderstand' on purpose just to make a point (you both knew she was asking about formula).

If you really want to promote breastfeeding then acting like an arse on the internet is not the place to start.
