Is around who's due in April 2021? How are you feeling?

I was in a thread on here in early pregnancy, dropped off when I joined the buddies Facebook group, I'm still in it but its not really for me.... I miss having a place to go to chat pregnancy though.

@LifeIsBusy I'm due in the 10th with my second. Time is flying by for me but maybe not for you from your post? Is this your first?

It sometimes feels like it's flying and on the other hand it's dragging. I already feel huge, mostly because I've been in maternity clothes since 10 weeks and I can't go anywhere without my pregnancy pillow. This is my second 😁. How old is you LO?

BoJingle · 30/11/2020 22:32

@LifeIsBusy I have a weird bump this time. Its a different shape and also seems to change size daily. This week its flatter than last week, which is weird.

Pregnancy pillows are life! I have a bbhugme and I may use it for the rest of my life Grin

I have a 2 year old. How old is yours?

Hi! I’ve been looking for a thread, will be nice to have people to chat to who are due at the same time. I’m 20 weeks tomorrow, due 20th April! First baby so all new to me. Got my 20-week scan on Friday.

I don’t feel like I have much of a bump yet, but think I can feel some tiny movements - although definitely nothing very obvious! With the exception of having to get up about 5 times a night (I miss sleep!), I feel like my normal self. I should probably make the most of that... 😂

Ro198 · 30/11/2020 22:45

I’m due April 24th, also having my 20 week scan on Friday!

I really want a bbhugme pillow, is it worth the money?! I have a different one at the moment but I’m not loving it

LifeIsBusy · 30/11/2020 22:48

My DS is just shy of 2. (his birthday is in 3 weeks). I definitely just have one large bumo and feel like every lovely pregnancy symptom is starting way earlier this time round. How have you been so far?

LifeIsBusy · 30/11/2020 22:48

I'm also having my 20 week scan on Friday. It's clearly the day for scans 😂

BoJingle · 30/11/2020 23:33

Wow, its a busy day Friday! 😁 are you all planning on finding out the sex? We opted for a surprise.

@clb8921 my movements have become more more noticeable this last week. Still nothing I can feel on the outside yet though.

@ro198 100 x yes! I had the dreamgeni last time, hated it. I think it made things worse tbh. I found the bb when I only had a few weeks left but couldn't justify the expense. This time I knew what I wanted but I still hesitated because it is a lot of money. I suffered with my pelvis in my first pregnancy so was/am willing to do anything to help with that. I had pelvis ache by this point, so far nothing in this pregnancy. Could be a coincidence but I'm saying its the pillow. Its bloody comfortable either way!

@lifeisbusy Have you been feeling unwell? I'm feeling pretty normal. I'm one of those annoying people that doesn't seem to get symptoms in the first trimester. Heart burn has appeared earlier though 🔥

I'm due the 28th April, and got my scan on 11th December. Friday seems to be the scan day 🙈

Hi ladies, due our rainbow baby early April 😊 it's all feeling very real now! I haven't had many symptoms since about 15 weeks so feeling good although have had bad heartburn the last few days.

LifeIsBusy · 01/12/2020 07:38

@BoJingle Ive not been too bad, I felt like rough in the early weeks but thats in the past now. The heart burn also started this week so i'm trying to ignore it and pretend like its not there. What do you take for it? That pillow looks crazy! I have a 12ft u shaped pillow that I used for my previous pregnancy which I love so as long as I don't sleep without it I don't have any hip pain.

@PinkRoses20 Welcome and congratulations!

@Handsoffstrikesagain I looked into this briefly but was unsure whether or not it was for me. What are the main benefits for you?

Hi due the 17th with DS 2, bump is here one min gone the next but don't feel I popped last time till 24-26 weeks, hopping to make it all the way this time to as DS was born at 28 weeks so need to keep this one cooking

SunnySideUp2020 · 01/12/2020 10:24

Due 3rd April, 22w3 now! Small bump but very active baby despite an anterior placenta!
I love feeling her move it really reassures me that things are ok.
Good luck to the ladies with upcoming 20w scan!

@Handsoffstrikesagain i intend to do the course but maybe later?
For now i am reading the Positive Birth Book!

Parkandride · 01/12/2020 10:27

Hi everyone Smile
My scan is Thursday and I'm terrified! No bump at all and I think movements are mainly wind Grin though might have felt a couple yesterday. Just hoping to see a healthy baby then it might feel real.

I've signed up to the positive birth company online pack for hynobirthing, was £20 with a black Friday code which might still be going?

SunnySideUp2020 · 01/12/2020 10:36

@Parkandride unfortunately not! I missed the offer :(

I also thought early movements were winds but turned out they weren't. So you probably feel the baby 🙂
It turned into proper kicks few days after the 20w scan so i kinda missed the "butteflies" stage!

clb8921 · 01/12/2020 10:52

The movements are really hard to distinguish from wind 🙈 I wasn’t sure until a few days ago, but am now convinced it has to be the baby!

Thanks for the tips on the Positive Birth Company. I’ve read really good things about it so may give it a go, especially as it seems quite a reasonable price.

SunnySideUp2020 · 01/12/2020 10:54

Is anyone involving partners in birth preparation?
If yes, how so?

BaaHumbugg · 01/12/2020 10:55

Due April 25th here with my second, my DD is almost 5. I don't even feel pg at the moment, it's great after feeling like I couldn't get out of bed for the first few months. Feel it is going super fast and almost half way through which is mad!

BaaHumbugg · 01/12/2020 10:55

@sunnysideup2020 no way, last time he fell asleep Grin
