phe694 · 26/11/2020 13:56

hey girls, just marking my place 🥰

EithneBlue · 26/11/2020 13:58

Why am I still pregnant?! 😭
Also Tier 3: where it's legal for us to get haircuts but my husband still gets thrown out of hospital immediately after birth and it's illegal to meet the grandparents. Cheers Boris.

Jellycat2020 · 26/11/2020 14:02

Wasn't quick enough to reply on the last thread...! @danielasummer baby girl born 18th November 😍

WHYYYY?!?!
PipTed · 26/11/2020 14:07

In tier 3 can also do a full Xmas shop on the high street but my husband can’t be in a
Room with me while I get induced. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Amyyy1 · 26/11/2020 14:58

Thank you for organising the new thread @danielasummer

It's so crazy how they STILL haven't changed the rules around birthing partners.

My belly has felt super squishy today, usually it feels rock hard all the time from how big it's grown. Has anyone else had this? It feels like she has just disappeared!!

LRHRN · 26/11/2020 14:59

Thank you ❤️ sorry the thread was full before I had chance to reply.

I have this every now and then. I told the midwife the first time and she didn’t seem bothered but I think it has something to do with the baby’s position and how far it’s head is in the pelvis.
excitednerves · 26/11/2020 15:29

Well it’s my day today (or tomorrow) - came in with reduced movements and bloody discharge, turns out my waters have gone and if I’m not in labour tonight, they’ll induce me tomorrow. 😱 Just had my covid test so I’m prepped and ready.

excitednerves · 26/11/2020 15:34

@EithneBlue @PipTed it’s ridiculous!!!! Praying I don’t need to be induced. The rules are just all over the place. They make no sense at all.

PipTed · 26/11/2020 15:40

Awww hope everything goes well! Slightly jealous you’ve got your signs and it’s all systems go! X

Babyhope98 · 26/11/2020 16:17

@excitednerves good luck! Scary how your waters can go without you noticing I hope you start labouring naturally!

I’m being induced Saturday due to abnormal liver blood tests now so not long! Hoping for it to happen naturally beforehand but not holding my breath! 😄

EithneBlue · 26/11/2020 16:18

Oh good luck @excitednerves! :-)

viixie · 26/11/2020 16:34

Potential stupid question coming right up...

We're having a Papa John's takeaway pizza tonight. It doesn't say anywhere if the mozzarella is pasteurised. What do you all think? Would you eat it? I've been so careful this whole pregnancy when it comes to food! I'm 38+1 today :)

OP posts:
lc86 · 26/11/2020 17:28

@danielasummer I've never considered this the whole of my pregnancy, oops!! Get ordering lol xx

excitednerves · 26/11/2020 17:35

@danielasummer as far as I’m aware even unpasteurised cheese is fine if it’s cooked.

Babyhope98 · 26/11/2020 17:44

I should think a big chain like papa johns pasteurise their mozzarella @danielasummer

peachypetite · 26/11/2020 17:48

Hi all. I was so lucky, giving birth on the midwife unit meant my husband could stay. We stayed in a night and all of the following day. @PipTed regarding the hakaa last night I got 30ml from each boob. It was very slow so I’ve now bought an electric pump coming today. If you take to breastfeeding it seems great for having to catch the let down from the other boob that would otherwise be wasted.
