Hi everyone!
I'm 9w5 today and snince finding out there are two growing inside me my anxiety is nuts! I should never have googled (obviously!), but I'm just so so worried all the time.

I presume we are all feeling the same?! I've had to buy some new clothes as my clothes are already tight Shock. I've read that can happen with twins so not too worried. Although I am starting to worry about the pure stress twins will put my body under. I'm naturally lacking in the hip department so I can only go out!

Anyone else feeling the same? Can I please join the fb group too? Xxx

Nesski · 25/11/2020 21:49

Hello! I'm 10 weeks tomorrow with my booking in appointment and feel like a beached whale. My gut is completely bloated and I'm dreading getting on the scales tomorrow, all I've been able to face are carbs the last 5 weeks and need this trimester to be over so I can feel more normal again!!

Garman · 25/11/2020 21:52

Hiya, I'm 9+4ish with my 3rd, feeling nauseous, heartburny and sick of both of them! I'm still in my normal clothes, last time I had to put on my maternity jeans at 7 weeks for comfort, funny how it can differ every time!

I've a scan in 3 weeks so currently counting down to that, had an early scan at 6 weeks but obviously just saw a tiny blob then.

Suite88 · 25/11/2020 21:54

Hi All,

I'm checking in again, I was on the first thread but not the second one. I'm 13 weeks.

I bought a pair of maternity jeans last week, my old jeans fit in the morning but are tight by the end of the day.

We've started looking at antenatal classes. Some of our local ones are already fully booked for babies due around June which I wasn't expecting!

Viper84 · 25/11/2020 22:01

Hi all,

Just wanted to say thanks for the replies re my small bleed last week. Looking forward but nervous for my 12 week scan on the 7th.
I have opted for the combined testing so hoping to get the results before Xmas, slightly nervous as I am coming up 36.
Lovely to see everyone’s scan pics.
If anyone has other children when do you plan to tell them? I have a 3 yr old and not sure when to tell her.

Snally82 · 25/11/2020 22:07

I’m 9+5 too :)

Haven’t posted up to now but have kept a close eye on the thread. This is my first little one, I’m 38.

We have our Harmony test booked for this Sunday. Slightly anxious but looking forward to the additional scan!

Scarftown · 25/11/2020 22:08

@MRJ86 if you DM @Happy2be she will sort you out with the Facebook.

lucieloos · 25/11/2020 22:09

Hi there, checking in....I'm 10 weeks tomorrow with 3rd baby and have scan and nipt test on Friday and I think we will find out the gender this time. I plan to tell our 2 children on Christmas Day if all has gone well with the scans and tests. I probably would have waited longer but will start telling others around then and doesn't feel right for the children not to know if others do.

swiftt · 25/11/2020 22:10

11+3 here and also feeling super bloated, burpy, generally a bit gross. Nausea has pretty much disappeared and has been replaced with ravenous hunger, which is a welcome change!

Has anyone got a scan coming up? Mine is on the 1st and I’m so ridiculously nervous.

@Viper84 planning on telling our dc 5 and 3 just before Christmas when I'll be about 14 weeks all going to plan. Want the 5 year old to know before we tell family so that he doesn't find out through hearing conversations, and will be telling them over Christmas.

Happy2be · 25/11/2020 22:16

@MRJ86 hi if you send me your email address via pm i can send you the invite link over 🤗

Dragonfly92 · 25/11/2020 22:21

Thanks for sorting the new thread @swiftt!

I'm 10+5 and feeling a lot rounder than pre-pregnancy. I've bought some maternity joggers (don't own normal ones anyway) as my leggings by the evening feel like they are cutting into my tummy.

@Viper84 you have the same scan date as me! 😊

Bleubird · 26/11/2020 06:52

Thanks for the new thread @swiftt

I'm around 10 weeks w first baby. Looking forward to my 12 week scan on 11th Dec. So far only hubby knows and I'm desperate to tell the rest of my family so will probably do that on the 11th. Symptoms are easing slightly lots of nausea and extreme tiredness for the majority of the 1st trimester. I think I also mentioned in the last thread I experienced hives, first pregnancy symptom and they covered my upper body- so strange but thankfully they've also eased off! I find it so interesting how our bodies respond to things.

Jinglebells87 · 26/11/2020 07:17

Morning everyone. Marking my place on the new thread. Thanks @swiftt for sorting!
So I'm 13 + 1 due on 2nd June with surprise 3rd baby! Had my 12 week scan on Monday and now just waiting for screening results. I have told pretty much everyone that I see regularly now.
I have bought loads of maternity clothes because there are some awesome sales on at the moment!
Still not feeling any better, thought I was on the mend yesterday but had a funny turn late afternoon and felt so sick again, had the usual aversions to food smells and also felt like I was going to faint! Spent another evening feeling so poorly I just went to bed at 9pm to end the day!

Nesski · 26/11/2020 07:30

I'm glad we are all on the same boat when it comes to symptoms like nausea and tiredness, we will see it through together Smile

Waitingforbabypage · 26/11/2020 07:40

I'm 12+3 and have a scan this morning, I've been awake much of the night with a migraine and have spent the morning so far hurling my guts up. I'm presuming pregnancy/migraine related and not something daft like I managed to give myself food poisoning or something.
I feel rough.

Chelsey567 · 26/11/2020 07:41

Hi congratulations to all!
First pregnancy, I'm 10 weeks +4 and have a scan today I'm super nervous because I was told I'm at a risk so for the past 3 weeks I've been taking progesterone, has anyone took these before during pregnancy? I hope everything is ok today

Mackie2020 · 26/11/2020 07:49

Just checking back in. I'm 13+2, and my bloated stomach could almost pass as a bump now! I'm living in leggings and joggers atm.

Mackie2020 · 26/11/2020 07:51

@Chelsey567 I'm an IVF pregnancy so took progesterone for the first 8 weeks. It's not pleasant is it! Some of my knickers will never recover.

milly159 · 26/11/2020 08:28

Hi everyone, was 12 weeks yesterday... have a little bump esp in the evenings and still being sick. Booo.
I'm 36 and have my 12 week scan at 14 weeks. Fingers crossed everything is OK

MarshallCleo · 26/11/2020 09:24

Hi @swiftt, I am 11+6 today and also have my 12w scan on 1st Dec - a mix of nerves and excitement! Fingers crossed it goes well for both of us x

123feraverto · 26/11/2020 09:56

Had my 12w scan yesterday and all was good

My Edd was almost spot on only changed from the 6th June to the 5th
So I'm now 12w+5 today

Sonographer said she noticed a cyst on one of my ovaries but said it looks like nothing to worry about

SarahTTC2020 · 26/11/2020 10:07

@swiftt thank you for setting up!!
I have my scan tomorrow morning, most nervous about the bloods because she really struggled at my booking appt.
Seems pregnancy has caused my veins to shrivel up and disappear deep in!
9am doesn't give me long to try and hydrate lots, usually only having my second wee of the day at lunchtime and I know I need a full.bladder so worried about that too!

MadameBonfamille · 26/11/2020 10:13

@lucieloos snap! I'm 10 weeks on Saturday, NIPT booked for next week and also plan to tell my 2 at Christmas.
I've been reading the comments about the nipt/ NT scan and much as I can't afford the NIPT I am 41 and I know the NT results will be affected by that. Also if the NT does give me bad results we would have to spend Xmas waiting to have a NIPT test or results, and I don't want it hanging over our heads.

We just want to get it done so we can tell the kids and then start telling everyone else. Being my third I'm huge already and struggling to hide it! Thank goodness for working from home.

swiftt · 26/11/2020 10:18

@MarshallCleo it’s getting so close now! I’m absolutely terrified but slightly excited!
